The host was amazing-welcoming,friendly and responsive. Their hospitality made the experience enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone lookinh for a peaceful getaway with stunning ocean views and would definitely love to stay here again❤️

The stairs up are quite steep but not for anyone who is mobility challenged.

Reviewed Apr 7, 2026We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, and the hospitality made us feel very welcome. Overall, it was a lovely experience.
Everything was really good, but having a washing machine and a larger drying rack for clothes would make longer stays even more convenient. An air conditioner would also be a great addition for extra comfort.

Go check ,we were given the rooms upstairs, the walls and ceiling on the lounge has mould , we had problems with electricity and a shortage of water.Eventualy we moved out on the 7th

Reviewed Jun 2, 2025The location was exceptional. Loved the views of the ocean and the sunrises. Property felt safe and secure. I liked being on the upper floor above the garage. The host was responsive and accommodating with any needs. The place was comfortably furnished and had everything I needed for my stay. I enjoyed a nice soaking bath in the bathtub, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent! The braii on the balcony was a fun new experience for this American! I’m very grateful for an overall pleasant experience at Sombedu Guest Suite!
One of the outlets in the front bedroom didn’t work, but the host provided an extension cord so I could get access to power in that room. I chose not to use the clothes washer due to a mildew smell. This is normal for front load washers, but I would recommend seeing about getting the washer drum cleaned if possible. The bed was a bit firm for my taste. Would suggest a memory foam mattress topper if possible.

Reviewed Dec 18, 2024😊🥰 It was clean, has everything you need - Braai stand, dishes, pots and appliances.With plugs and adapters to charge - you don't have to carry it. Its in a very quiet street...With a nice view of the beach....You'll hear the birds chirping in the morning - So peaceful. I would've been nice if they also had a swimming pool, but either way - it was awesome.
