The ocean view was amazing beautiful apartment

The view of the ocean is awesome The unit is nice and spacious

The main bedroom had a damp smell that just didnt go away. The carpets need to be removed

Geysers seem to be shared and you have to wait for hot water at times...

The Jacuzzi was filthy. Had to wait for the next day to use the jacuzzi after it was cleaned.

Heated pools didn’t work . Bedding had an onion odour .showers were broken had to take a cold shower. Lights were not working. Maintenance was done in unit while we were there and really caused us inconvenience.

At the pool area. It clearly stated “No diving” Children went on with their usual.

Diverter mixer in ensuite shower broke off, was fixed the next day. Unit was in the corner on ground floor so had people walking past the unit frequently.

Breakfast was very limited. TV was replaced in unit but the incorrect remote was left for the TV.

The staff were so lovely and helpful - not once did i walk past a staff member who didnt smile & say hello. They told you everything you needed to know and were always available. If you are after a comfortable place to stay with easy access to a lovely clean beach - this is a great option. The suites were large & spotless - all necessary appliances, crockery & cutlery. Lovely comfy beds. Great bathrooms with good water pressure. I couldnt fault the accommodation. The veranda was huge too - so you could eat outside and spend hours enjoying the view. Rooms get serviced every day...and your braai cleaned if you used it the night before. Good facilities too - pool, jacuzzi, spa, tennis court, squash court, kids play area....restaurant & bar

My only negative has nothing to do with the venue. Just not much to do in the immediate area (ie if you like to take walks to coffee shops and window shop). That said - if you are there to enjoy the accommodation, the view and the gorgeous beach....then you cant go wrong. There is a Spar at the end of the road (50m) & Shelly Centre is only 10 mins drive away...

I made a booking for the 6th floor with bookings.com and the lady confirmed my 6th floor booking with me . When I arrived there i was told the 6th floor is booked and was given the 5th floor with partial Seaview yet i paid for complete sea view. I was very disappointed by this. When i made the booking i told the lady it was my anniversary . I called in the resort and advised them that i will be coming through and to keep my room available as i wanted to check in a little earlier, No attempt was made for the room to be set up earlier at least an hour early .I was given the room which was on the 5th floor . Very disappointing .

Caring staff,really looked after .Beautiful views. Apartment exceptional and very clean. Staff cleaned every day like being in a Hotel. Unusual for self catering, but SA is very good and has good standards. Good catering food if needed and good room service

I liked the swimming pool. Friendly staff. The location is excellent. The beds were super comfortable. Nice sized kitchen, it has all the dishes and utensils needed and more. I loved beautiful views from the balcony. Beautiful

The lounge furniture can be improved. Kitchen is also outdated, it can do with a little revamp.

The receptionist , cleaning and security staff were exceptional. Kids activities were more beyond expectations. The beach is very close and convenient 👌 . I was allocated a room that accommodate my condition as I have a leg injury. I will definitely go back

the food was very poor, not fresh, did not get what we ask for, and no customer service. When complain the lady was oblivious.

Everything, it felt like being in an old age home, was stuffy, not clean at all, and had a cockgroach in my room and carpets very dirty, hair in the corner of the shower. The rail was dirty where suppose to hang clothing. The shower in the master bedroom is shocking in a very bad way, need a new one for sure.

I liked that it had the AC and the jacuzzi, but you have to pay and it only opens at 11:00, no flexibility at all.

It was not an enjoyable stay at all. There was no flexibility and too many rules that made the experience feel rigid rather than relaxing. The pool and jacuzzi only open at 11:00, breakfast only starts at 8:00 — so if you have work or need to catch an early flight, too bad. Checkout is also at 10:00. The staff, however, were wonderful. I know some of these policies are beyond their control, but the hotel itself needs to ease the rules, be more flexible, and create a more relaxing, guest-friendly atmosphere. Too militant for me!

Its proximity to the beach and ocean, its well maintained interior and having ALL the household goods to have a self catering atmosphere and holiday. Its WOW !!! The staff were so super professional and running over with joy. I guess they LOVE their Jobs ❤️🎉👌😀 ?!?

Parking is an issue especially if you drive a big vehicle. Rooms are very cold but having blankets helped

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Côte d’Azur. We were welcomed warmly and especially enjoyed Siswe, the gentleman at reception. The apartment was so beautiful and clean and had everything we could have needed. Keep in mind that in South Africa, there are no electrical plugs in bathrooms

Absolutely amazing staff especially during check in. I loved the little treats and drinks that were available at the reception area. It’s a really nice touch.

Bar area could be opened to a little later than 8pm on Friday nights.

The shower in the main room-definitely needs to be changed to a more modern style and comfortable

Sea view in our apartment. Absolutely spectacular and stunning.

You have to pay for air conditioner. Only the first 8 hr use is complimentary ! You pay R200 per hour for late check out ! The first time EVER in my life time have I ever experienced such policy. Initially, I was told that it was R100 per hour. On Check out , I was told that it is R200 per hour. I checked out 2 hours late ( requested on Check in ). I had to pay R400 extra , which is ridiculous! They remove pool cushions at 5pm on Saturday. Yet, the pool closes at 8pm.!!! What is that ? The Management should up their game !! The place has loads of potential though!

Loved the beautiful view of the ocean! The lounge area was light and airy with its large windows showing of magnificent views of the sea. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Close to the beach. Very friendly staff, even at the restaurant. Pool was lovely. Kind of staff to offer us water on arrival and water on departure. Wifi worked well throughout the resort. Had staff assistance to get luggage from the car to the room on check in and on vice versa on check out. Security guard was helpful. Advised us on where to get out tyre fixed after a nail got in it.

The large inventory checklist was frustrating especially when you are exhausted from a long drive. I have been to other resorts like Alpine heath and they don't expect such from theirs guests. It's something First Group needs to look at. The chalets are out dated. Bathrooms were tiny, difficult to have a shower. Water pressure is so low and there's barely space to move in the family bathroom and shower itself. Management should rather remodel the family bathroom and remove the bath and make room for a spacious shower instead. And add a bigger showerhead and mixer. The aircon didn't work on our second night and we bought a voucher, but it still didn't work. We were provided with fans, but it was too noisy. I only slept after 1h30am. Food options at the French Vanilla Cafe are pretty limited. Very friendly staff, but we were so tired and hungry when we checked in and I was lookin forward to eating, but food took long to arrive, about almost an hour. The waitress did apologise though. My double burger arrived, bun was fresh, lovely jalepenos and pickles , but patty wasn't all that flavourful. Parking is difficult with a big vehicle as the space was very tight. The security guard was helpful though and helped us to get a different parking bay on our second day.

La Cote D'Azur exceeded our expectations. The accommodation offers everything you need and more (particularly the kitchen which has every conceivable device!). All the flats offer ocean views with beautiful balconies to relax or dine. The location is also excellent as one has easy access to the beach. The resort offers a pool, adult and kids activities and the staff went out of their way to ensure that our check-in AND stay was comfortable.

The Location to the beach is close and the patio with braai that is undercover is excellent. The unit is nice and spacious and the sea view is just an added the bonus. The staff is very friendly when it comes to handing out ice and ask for any extras...... The ladies come everyday to clean the rooms and we never felt like we stayed in a dirty room......

I am totally wheelchair bound, your bathroom are too small for wheelchair and they are not wheelchair friendly the room i was in is 306.

Breakfast staff was extremely helpful and always had a smile. Security guards at the entrance was extremely friendly and always trying to assist us, was really amazing. Overall, all staff was very helpful and passionate about their guests to ensure a comfortable stay.
