Lagoon view and the boat ride was very enjoyable and entertaining.

Swimming pool area was too small for the crowd. There were no carpets from outside the door of the bathroom.

For five star ratings property the cleanses wasn’t up to the standard specially the bathroom.

Spazi comuni molto curati , ristorante ottimo, piscina bellissima. La cena a buffet con musica dal vivo nella quale potevi cenare a bordo mare era favolosa. Colazione squisita. Personale gentile e possibilità di mangiare lactose free e gluten free. Stanza pulita bene.

La camera è spaziosa ma l’arredo è datato per un 5 stelle (anche nel bagno), sarebbe da migliorare anche il kit bagno (nei 5 stelle danno anche kit spazzolino, vanity kit, etc…). Malgrado ciò ho dato 10 perché hanno un rapporto qualità prezzo che fa passare sopra a questa piccola mancanza.

What did you like about the property? The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very close to the airport. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, and the breakfast was delicious. Overall, it was a pleasant and relaxing stay.

There was nothing significant to dislike. Everything met my expectations.

I had a very pleasant one-night stay at Amagi Aria Airport Transit Hotel before my flight. The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport, making it an excellent choice for transit travellers. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a peaceful atmosphere for a good night's rest. The staff were welcoming, courteous, and efficient throughout my stay.

There was very little to dislike during my stay. If I had one suggestion, it would be to improve the soundproofing in some rooms, as occasional outside noise could be heard. Other than that, everything was well managed and met my expectations.

view was excellent !! Beautiful room. Staff was super nice and helpful as we had to check in early and leave in the middle of the night to catch a flight.

Loud wedding going on, but did stop before evening. Noisy and hot air conditioning unit on deck, made it impossible to use.

Excellent staff right from the time we were picked up at the airport, the reception and staff that assisted us to the room. The spacious rooms overlooking the lagoon, with balcony is very nice. One staff ''Sankar'' was very courteous and helpful throughout our stay.

The A/C was a bit small for the room and was not helpful with the tropical weather. Breakfast buffet could be better including the presentation as there was little effort taken to keep it tidy

We had a wonderful stay. Even though it was the off-season, the weather was lovely. Thank you for upgrading us to a lagoon-facing room and accommodating our bedding request. Don’t miss the secret garden. Special thanks to Anne and Praveen for your kindness and hospitality.

L'AMAGI indique un hotel de "transit" et c'est bien ce qu'il est. Je cherchais un hôtel à la fois en ville et proche de l'aéroport, l'hotel remplit les deux conditions mais c'est son seul intérêt : avoir une chambre pour passer une dernière courte nuit avant de décoller le lendemain matin tôt. J'avais pris une suite coté ville, on m'a surclassé coté lagune. Bien pour la vue, mais on sent que la chambre est un peu "passée" et mal entretenue : la peinture s'écaille un peu, le parquet n'est pas reluisant. Coté salle de bains, tout est en ordre, grande douche à l'italienne, deux vasques. Un grand dressing dans lequel on peut mettre les valises. Belle terrasse équipée d'un jacuzzi lui aussi bien usé, avec des accessoires qui sont mal fixés, etc. La clim fait son possible pour rafraîchir la chambre. Le personnel est très prévenant, au petits soins pour vous.

J'avais déjà aperçu un cafard énorme (5cm) sur la terrasse avant de sortir dîner. Au 6e ça surprend, et je me suis dit "tant que ça reste sur la terrasse"... mais quand vous en croisez un encore plus gros dans le dressing à 3H du matin, et un autre qui sort d'un trou dans la salle de bains pendant que vous prenez une douche, la coupe est pleine. Il est temps de prendre l'avion rapidement. De tous les hôtels que j'ai fait au Sri Lanka, parfois en pleine campagne ou dans des petites villes du centre, c'est le seul qui m'ait donné cette "expérience" très désagréable. Sinon, aucune prise électrique près du lit ou à proximité.

The lighting in the room is harshly dim, and the AC seems to be circulating air without actually lowering the temperature.

Great place to stay before or after a flight with lovely views of the lagoon. Very quick and cheap taxi to the airport. We arrived after a long hot train journey from the south and were greeted by friendly staff offering chilled towels and fresh juice. The pool and breakfast buffet both fabulous. Our room was clean and comfortable.

Great location to enjoy dinner while watching the sunset over the lagoon before a late night flight.

Short distance from airport. Friendly, helpful service. Situated in pleasant grounds. Good satisfactory, good choice.

We arrived on the eve of the Sri Lankan new year. The hotel was very busy due to this. Was not mentioned that we needed to book a table for dinner which caused issues when we arrived to eat. Offered food in room.

Der Inhaber und das gesamte Personal waren ausgesprochen liebenswert und zuvorkommend. Es war sauber, sehr ruhig einfach ein unglaublich schöner Ort zum entschleunigen und genießen.

Das ist kein Kühlschrank gibt.

Our stay was truly delightful. The staff welcomed us with such kindness that we immediately felt at home. The swimming pool was sparkling clean, making every swim refreshing and enjoyable. From our balcony, we were greeted each day with an incredible view that filled us with peace and joy. It’s the kind of place that leaves lasting memories, and we are deeply grateful for the care and comfort we experienced here.

This hotel is just 15 min drive from Colombo’s main airport.

The management could improve on cleanliness and replace damaged facilities.

Huge thanks to the team at Amagi Aria. They granted me a complimentary late checkout which made my travel day so much easier. A special mention to the housekeeping supervisor on duty on the 22nd who was incredibly helpful and personally made sure I had everything I needed. Such a professional and welcoming team-I will definitely be back

Stayed overnight in a city view suite, breakfast and airport transfer included. Airport transfer was easy especially welcome after arriving in Colombo after midnight. Very nice room, good food, friendly and helpful staff.

It was a beautiful hotel right on the lake Pool excellent ,grounds lovely .Room large with lovely balcony.Great location to airport..Staff friendly and efficient. Breakfast excellent.

Only thing I noticed was there were no soaps ,shower wash shampoo or conditioners.

Food was awful and expensive. Both breakfast and dinner just trying to fleece tourists. Then at check out we had to wait while they checked room?? They initially said 2 hand towels were missing. They found one but not the other. Not what you want to deal with when needing to catch a flight. Not sure if this is standard for Sri Lanka but never heard of waiting for room being checked before you can check out??

We hebben een goed verblijf gehad, echter Dithwa gooide roet in het eten. Desondanks een fijn verblijf dichtbij het vliegveld.

The rooms are very spacious. There’s a nice view of the lagoon and pool from the room balcony. Breakfast buffet was good. Hotel staff are very accommodating and friendly.

Light and cleanliness. Flies every where. Cab cost to airport at the hotel was 3k, we paid outside 1.5k, massive difference.

Convince to Airport and great view.

It's an airport transit hotel, but they do not provide a vehicle to take guests to the airport. We were two adults and one child with three large pieces of luggage. When we asked the reception to drop us off at the airport, they suggested hiring a private vehicle instead.

Spacious rooms, good swimming pool with beautiful lagoon view, delicious breakfast buffet, Special mention to Mr Anthony - who ensured our stay was pleasant. Hotel is just 15 minutes from the airport. Near by there is Sasha food court - where Indian food option are in plenty, there are many cake shops - BLU PEACOCK and Barista!

The rooms where spacious and clean. Great size balcony and great views across the river.

Our AC leaked overnight over our open suitcase - resulting in our clothes being wet. The AC eventually got fixed. Ridiculous loud music payed all day Saturday and Sunday not great for relaxing by the pool.
