Les propriétaires sont juste adorables ! Nous avons pu check-in à 3h du matin après notre atterrissage, sans aucun souci. La chambre est spacieuse avec des grands lits doubles, avec une moustiquaire (même s’il n’y a pas beaucoup de moustiques) et un ventilateur (qui suffit même en plein mois d’Aout) ! N'hésitez surtout pas à leur demander de l'aide pour quoi que ce soit : nous leur avons demandé si on pouvait manger chez eux pour le déjeuner, et c'était copieux, délicieux et vraiment pas cher. Ensuite, nous devions nous rendre à Anuradhapura sans avoir réservé de taxi et ils nous y ont emmenés eux-mêmes avec leur propre voiture, pour le même prix que celui affiché sur PickMe. On a pris une route magnifique le long de la côte plutôt que l'autoroute, avec des arrêts photo et quelques achats en chemin. On a bien discuté tout le trajet, et ils nous ont déposés directement à notre guesthouse en arrivant. Bref, une expérience géniale du début à la fin : hyper gentils, hyper arrangeants. On recommande à 100% !

Great location- close to airport and a little restaurant on the corner

AC would have been a great addition but there was a ceiling fan and we kept the windows open.

Le manque d’équipements (eau froide ) et la propreté… Mais parfait pour les routards 😊

Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hat uns Frühstück gemacht und nach uns gesehen.

Die Unterkunft war sehr unsauber und wir hatten das Gefühl dass der Bettbezug und die Handtücher nicht frisch gewaschen waren. Zudem gab es wenig Ausstattung, z.B. hatten wir keine Seife und kaum Toilettenpapier.

El hotel más sucio que hemos estado en mucho tiempo.

La padrona di casa è meravigliosa, fantastica. Si è svegliata la notte per assicurarsi che andassimo in aeroporto all’ora corretta e con il nostro driver.

La struttura è un po’ distante dalla città, fa molto caldo e ci sono zanzare.

The room is humble, but lovely Stephanie and her family help to make your experience so warm that you will definitely want to come back :)

Cheap price (good value for money) and the staff is very nice and responsive. There are nice covered outdoor spaces.

There is a lot of dust and spiderwebs in the corners of the walls. The mosquito nets are too small for the beds and have wholes in them. One of the 2 beds in the room has 2 mattresses which made it a bit uncomfortable.

very good place to stay—great value for money. It’s a quiet and natural environment, perfect for relaxing. I stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. The room was comfortable and had all the necessary facilities for the price. The owner is very kind and communicates well. There was some singing from the neighboring room, but it wasn’t too disturbing. The owner even checked with me, showing he really cares—such a good-hearted person. Everything was good overall. Just a little more cleaning around the outside and small improvements could make the garden even nicer in the future. Still, I had a very good experience and would definitely recommend it.

Only 20 minutes away from the airport, it was very easy to get there by uber. Perfect stay for backpacking, enough space, room with or without a/c available and the hosts are very open and friendly, restaurants not too far away and brakfast was very delicious. Would really recommend this for the first night after a long flight😊

The room was dirty and we didn't want to sleep with the existing sheets. They were too dirty with alot of hair. The location is just too remote to reach anything.

Very simple but perfectly sufficient rooms. The family that owns the place is super nice and accommodating! No matter that you arrive at 3 am, they will open their doors. The breakfast was delicious, truly sri lankan. We would stay again.

Hosts were super friendly! They even let me join their family dinner and showed me how to prepare coconut for the curry! They also gave me recommendations about where to eat and what to do. Bed was comfy!

Feels like being at home, Stephanie is a sun, God bless her heart. She was greeting us every morning with a coffee and a smile, the place is quiet and calm so we could have very good night sleeps. I loved my staying and definitely coming back again !

A little far from the main streets of Negumbo but this is fine as you can get a tuk Tuk :)

Most Everything. Stephanie was terrific. I arrived a day earlier than booked through my own miscalculation at 4am and everything was made as smooth as smooth can be by Stephanie. She also made me two excellent meals and was super helpful about anything I asked about or needed as was her husband. The room was on the ground floor and had the benefit of a nice patio garden.

I'm mold sensitive and think this was some issue in my room with this. It was very clean but the smell is distinctive and I found sleeping difficult as my sinus got so blocked. But for the price it was acceptable.

Lovely host, close to the airport

I really enjoyed my short stay at house of Esanya. I chose it because it’s near the airport. My flight arrived late at night, so I was looking for a place to stay for a day to rest. The family is lovely people. I felt very welcomed. I asked if I could get a room that has space for a yoga mat as I practice yoga every morning and they kindly offered me such room.

Very good location near the airport...our flight landed late at night and we wanted a good peaceful sleep. Stephanie our hostess warmly welcomed us at 3.30 am. She guided us on how to continue with our onward journey, giving us details of taxi and buses.

A very friendly and accommodating family guesthouse - you get all the information you need about the area and the trip. The rooms are simple, but very comfortable and clean. Quiet surroundings, with a green veranda to relax on. Ideally located between the airport and Negombo Beach. I will definitely choose this accommodation again.

The woman running the place was fantastic! We had an issue when we arrived at 10pm to our original booking and found it had only one bed so we were stuck looking last minute for someplace nearby as we had an early flight the next day. We were able to book here and even though she had no time to prepare, we were welcomed in. The next morning she got up with us at 6am and got us a tuk tuk to the airport since the Uber rides we booked kept canceling. If not for her getting up so early with us we would likely have missed our flight.

Any negatives were overridden by the above and beyond service for the very kind owner. Just pay attention to the accurate listing and know that there is no A/C.

Unfortunately, I needed stronger WiFi or 4G to work but the area did not have it. It's a little bit away from the main centre so would require taxi/Tuk Tuk to get to and from it

The location is near the airport that's why i booked the property. The price was also affordable. The owner was lovely. She offered me coffee in the morning before i left. When i took the tuktuk, it was raining so she helped me with the umbrella while i put my stuff in the tuktuk. Lovely! I appreciate that so much!

Just a lot of mosquitoes in the room. The beds had mosquito nets tho.

Family was super nice we could also wash our cloths here wich was so nice afther a long travel. The bed was the best bed I slept in on my whole journey.

the host was very kind, she cooked us delicious food and our late check-in due to our flight was no problem at all. She also organised transportation for us and gave us valuable tips for our upcoming trip. Our room was basic, the cleanliness was ok but you've got everything you need. If you're not too picky, you're getting a good stay for very few money.

the mosquitonet had big holes in it, so it doesn't give you enough protection while the room is very hot bc of a missing AC - new mosquitonets should be arranged.
