Great stay. Location was good. Staff was good, fast internet.

During my stay, I had an unsettling feeling that there might have been a ghost or some unusual presence in the room. I noticed a few strange occurrences that made me feel quite uncomfortable, especially at night. It may have just been my imagination, but the experience was definitely a little creepy.

Location is great. Surrounded by many restaurants and a night stalls street (selling cheap shoes, clothings etc). All staff are nice and helpful. Helped me with bus ticket printing although the staff’s experience was bus terminal now accepts mobile QR code scanning. The room is neat and clean.

The only down side is poor sound proof. I hear other rooms shutting their door and people talking in corridor. It was not a big issue for my two nights, perhaps it’s low season.

Location is fantastic. Walking distance to all nice eating place. The reception is very helpful and friendly. She gave a lot of recommendation on eating places. We book 2 double room and 1 twin room. All with windows. Size is spacious enough.

ロケーションがとにかく良いです。New townの素晴らしいところにあり、チキンライスや塩焗鶏の名店まですぐに行けます。ホテル設備も清潔で、過不足なく、大好きなChekhupのホワイトコーヒーが置いてありました。

冷蔵庫は部屋にないので要注意です。また、瞬間湯沸かし器は分かりにくいところ(十字のWaterVolumeではなく根元のボルト)を回さないとお湯が出ません。また、壁が薄く配管の音が聞こえるので、隣室のノックは自分の部屋へのノックのように聞こえます。

Chambre très satisfaisante, conforme à la description. Grand lit confortable, bouilloire, petit réfrigérateur, rangements. Douche et WC dans la même pièce (ok parce que j'étais seul). Bon emplacement (j'ai tout fait à pied). L'hôtel est proche du terminal de bus Sri Maju, assez proche de la gare ferroviaire d'Ipoh et du centre historique. En revanche il est assez éloigné du nouveau terminal de bus Amanjaya. Conseil pratique : il y a au coin de la rue un magasin qui vend de l'alcool, c'est un très bon point de repère pour retrouver l'hôtel (il y a de grands panneaux publicitaires avec des marques de cognac). Vous pouvez aussi voir la tour Octagon en arrière-plan.

Demander une caution me semble inutile, surtout si c'est en espèces. J'ai pu me contenter de laisser une autorisation sur ma carte bancaire. Ma fenêtre donnait sur la rue c'était un peu bruyant. Douche et WC non séparés. Mais aucun de ces quelques bémols n'est réellement un problème, je le recommande vraiment si vous séjournez à Ipoh.

La ducha de nuestra habitación NO estaba separada del resto del baño, lo cual hacía que inevitablemente al ducharte salpicaras al resto de la estancia quedando la taza del váter mojada y el suelo. Lo cual luego resultaba algo incómodo

Booked the room with window table. Great location in Old Town, not even 1 minut to local night market (not the big Night Market!). Nice, clean, friendly staff. Pictures on website match reality, what you see is what you get.

Thin walls/door. All noises from hall way can be heard. If you are a light sleeper this hotel is NOT for you. If you are a person who can sleep anywhere and easily you'll be alright. The hotel is nothing fancy but gets the job done. Notes: - breakfast not available, you get 2 complimentary bottles of water per day and coffee satchets. - the thinnest toilet paper in the world provided! You need to use a lot and fold it many times before using. The worst. - Remember to put cleaning sign on door knob otherwise your room wont be cleaned.

El personal muy amable y el hotel está muy limpio y es cómodo. La ubicación está a un paseo del centro y en los alrededores hay muchos restaurantes y un mercado nocturno.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Hotel liegt zentral und wenige Gehminuten vom Night Market. Die Ausstattung war super und das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Wir haben nur eine Nacht hier verbracht aber wurden immer wieder kommen. Die Lage ist großartig und in wenigen Minuten erreicht man den Markt und kann fußläufig nach oldtown gehen. Die Zimmer waren groß und sauber.

My parents had an exceptional stay and fully intend to return on their next visit to Ipoh. The staffs were remarkably attentive and helpful throughout their trip, giving me complete peace of mind while they traveled without me. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Llegamos antes de tiempo y nos guardaron las maletas mientras turisteabamos un poco. La habitacion era comoda y espaciosa y con mampara en el baño, cosa que no suele ser habitual en malasia. El personal era amable y muy simpatico. El hotel esta cerca de Concubine Lane , por lo que se puede ir andando perfectamente.

Soggiorno eccellente, oltre ogni aspettativa! Questo hotel a Ipoh ha superato di gran lunga le nostre aspettative. La struttura è nuovissima, pulitissima e mantenuta in perfetto ordine in ogni singolo dettaglio. Lo staff si è dimostrato straordinariamente pronto, reattivo e accogliente. La camera era estremamente confortevole, moderna e con ogni servizio perfettamente funzionante. La posizione è leggermente decentrata rispetto al cuore della città vecchia, ma Ipoh si gira comodamente e la tranquillità della zona è un valore aggiunto. Consigliatissimo!

Posizione centrale con vari ristoranti nelle vicinanze e un mercato serale la vita dietro. Staff accogliente e disponibile. Struttura silenziosa.

Aggiungerei almeno due asciugamani, ho soggiornato 3 notti e non vengono a farti il cambio asciugamani e la stanza. Un po piccola se si viene con delle valigie di dimensioni medie in quanto difficili da posizionare e aprire.

We enjoyed our stay in De Quinton Hotel. It was conveniently located in a fine neighborhood with lots of nice eateries nearby and within walking distance to the Old Town. The room was clean and spacious and interestingly enough the bathroom was maybe even bigger. Such a big big bathroom. The building is pretty and everything looks quite new.

We had a room with a window, but it was an issue to keep the curtains open, as it was facing a side street and nearby buildings, that could see directly in our room. It didn't feel so private. Overall a nice stay, but nothing really memorable.

Hotel pulito e molto carino, ben ristrutturato, accogliente. Letti comodi, bagno pulito. Camere un po' pccole ma per una notte vanno benissimo. Abbastanza vicino al centro, in dieci minuti si arriva alla street dei murales e alla via principale.

Si è praticamente in zona chinatown per cui abbiamo faticato a trovare un ristorante per cenare. Sono tutti cinesi local (non aspettatevi riso cantonese o spring rols!) e per chi ha difficoltà ad adattarsi è necessario prendere un taxi e cambiare zona.

Falta aislamiento acústico. La primera noche, en la habitación de al lado estaban hablando por teléfono y escuché toda la conversación, y ya eran casi las 23h.

Bright, very clean, the bed was so comfortable , the kettle was also clean. Excellent value!!! Walking distance to a place where you can eat fresh durian 😬. The owner and all staff were super friendly and helpful. Location is excellent if you like local foods & night market . 8 minutes to Ipoh Mall & 20 minutes to Tasik Cermin (Mirror Lake) by grab (taxi) which cost us roughly between 5-12 MYR. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone would like to visit Ipoh!! Please make sure you book well in advance. I was planning to book an extra night but the hotel was fully booked. The cleaner did amazing job!!!👏 For sure i’d come back to stay in this hotel on next trip to Ipoh. Thank you 🙏

It was a pleasure to stay at De Quinton Hotel, Ipoh. The hotel is very spacious, super clean, with comfortable rooms. The staff is really friendly and the tour guide offered by them is well prepared and friendly, as well! Plus, hotel's location is convenient. Thank you so much! We will come back, for sure!

Otelin konumu gayet güzeldi. Şehir merkezinde ulaşmak istediğimiz tüm noktalara yakındı. Tesis çalışanları gayet güleryüzlü ve pozitif bir yaklaşım içerisindeydi. Check-in sürecimiz rahattı. Odamız temizdi ve oda koşullarımız gayet yeterliydi. Fiyat-performans dengesi fazlasıyla iyiydi.

Très bien, le restaurant de chicken rice juste à côté est excellent, le propriétaire à la réception est très pro, les chambres sont pratiques et l'emplaceent très bien (on peut tout visiter à pied très facilement).

Le wifi était pas dingue dans ma chambre (le Wifi captait mal sur le PC, pas très rapide, etc.). J'étais dans une chambre excentrée donc c'est peut-être lié à ça ?

The staff was very kind and helpful, the room was clean and the towels as well. The location was great.

The soundproofing is inexistent so if, like me, you have neighbours who think it’s okay to laugh, clap, and yell in the hallways as well as keep their crying baby there only the early hours of the morning, you won’t sleep.

We stayed here twice either side of a trip to the Cameron Highlands. On both occasions the rooms were meticulously clean and the beds very comfortable. The staff especially Stephen are incredibly helpful and welcoming. The location is ideal - close to lots of local eateries and a 10-15 minute walk to the old town and train/bus stations. A note for those concerned about the negative comments on parking. Yes the hotel has three free spaces out front on a first come first served basis, but there are dozens of other spaces that upon downloading the parking app will cost less than £1 for a whole day.

The soundproofing could be improved especially as some people seem incapable of talking at a reasonable level or watching TV unless on full volume.

This is my second stay at this hotel (my first was in February 2025), and I'm happy to see that it has maintained the same high standards. The location is great, with plenty of food options nearby, including the famous chicken rice shop, a newly opened dessert shop, and several nice cafés. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was very clean, just as I remembered from my first visit when the hotel had just opened. I also appreciate the thoughtful room design. The hair dryer is conveniently placed near the mirror instead of inside the bathroom, which makes it much easier to use. I also like the shower heater, as it's easy to adjust to the right temperature without having to keep turning the knob back and forth. For a double room, the space was sufficient and comfortable. Overall, I had another pleasant stay and would definitely consider coming back again.

Extremely clean modern hotel. Easy checking. Very central location. Would stay again. I had a nice window room that looked out on the street. Some cheaper rooms do not have windows but you can choose when you book.

Le personnel à la réception est TOP, très gentil et accueillant. L’hôtel est bien situé au milieu du centre ville. Les chambres sont propres et l’hôtel semble récemment rénové. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour, c’était très confortable.
