Please note that this property cannot accommodate hen and stag parties. Management reserve the right to charge a GBP 50 per person bond deposit for any groups accepted by prior arrangement. The deposit is refunded if no damage to property or the hotels reputation.
Any one bringing in unregistered guests into the guest house will be charged or debited GBP 100 per night and will be asked to leave the hotel without receiving any refund for remaining nights.
Please note that no rooms are located on the ground floor.

The parking is free and there are enough spaces for all guests, however, it can be difficult to organize cars during busy periods. Guests are kindly asked to be patient.
Booking.com does not receive the deposit, this is taken by the hotel directly.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein, nie und nimmer 14 Quadratmeter Punkt es hatte ein winziges Fenster, man fühlte sich wie in einer Gefängniszelle. Die Klospülung, man musste viermal abziehen . Es gab keine Ablageflächen im Raum.Nach dem Frühstück hatten wir Magenprobleme, möglicherweise vom Lachs. Die Dusche war viel zu klein. Der Preis für die Unterkunft war viel zu hoch.

Kleine Sitzecke vor dem Haus. Kostenloser Parkplatz. Ruhig aber dennoch zentral nshe acity und den Stränden gelegen. Es wurde alles getan, um den Gast den Aufenthalt angenehm zu machen.
Zimmer eher klein. In der 2. ETAGE unterdem Dach war es bei füf Cornwall unüblichen 30 Grad leider sehr warm. Der Ventilator brachte leider nur wenig Kühlung.

Reviewed Jun 14, 2026A very cosy and welcoming place located centrally in Newquay. We were received by the hosts (although we were late arriving in from Cotswolds), who were courteous and helpful. Breakfast was fabulous, with various options in set menu (we had smoked salmon with poached and scrambled eggs and loved ‘em). The room was very clean and made up daily. Private parking was a bit tight but adequate for our compact SUV. Our friendly hosts guided us with good tips on local food scene and nearby attractions (thanks for advising us to take the train from St. Erth park-and-ride instead of driving all the way to St. Ives). The street was quiet, yet close to the beaches (15 minutes walk to Fistral Beach). Overall, a memorable stay. We recommend Trelinda highly and would love to revisit.
Not much, except maybe a mixer faucet in the washroom - but then, it would lose quite a bit of the old English charm of separate hot and cold taps in the sink. :)

Mainly the amount of stairs it wasn’t easy to lug up cases after a 6hour drive without assistance perhaps from the male owner . We found him quite unfriendly our welcome wasn’t pleasant from him after driving for hours first comment from him was about our van and space which wasn’t a welcome and quite unpleasant .

Very noisy road, we were woken up several times, loud talking out side, cars etc. Also, the shower is an electric shower. So very hot or cold, hard to get a good temperature and strong water flow. But this is to be expected! Would go again, but ask for a room at the back away from the road.

A very good price for the time of year I booked. I booked at 4pm and checked in at 6pm. I was working in area and only stayed 1 night but I would consider staying here longer if I needed to.
Not that I didn't like it. But the hotel is on a hill as is most of Newquay is and some people may struggle with the hills. .

Reviewed Apr 3, 2026Breakfast was top quality fresh ordered on on the table within minutes. Also available was fruit & cereal if you wanted it before cooked Breakfast. Rooms are on-suite have a fridge tea & coffee & nice size tv in each room & the wifi is excellent bed was just right for size of my room.
I couldnt say a bad thing about my stay & hopefully will stay there again as its ideal for a short stay or longer to be honest.

Reviewed Apr 1, 2026Great location, clean , tidy , comfortable ,;quiet ( much needed !) The small things matter and attention to detail . After a day out I came back to tidy bed , tea etc replenished, and cleaned , really adds to the experience. On arrival I was politely greeted and upgraded to a sea view room (cribber ) really lovely , especially as I'm a local girl coming home to visit .made my day. Thank you x It's great to see an establishment who obviously cares and make guests stays memorable. Really appreciated the lounge area with snacks and drinks and loved the sun lounge area . Bed comfy etc and furniture, chairs to look out at the view . Shame no breakfast but I understand was slightly out of season .I was recommended a few places to eat though and it was great exploring old haunts . Will definitely come again ! Oh .and the sun shined. Bonus !

Reviewed Mar 26, 2026A decent good value option in Newquay. The room was clean with comfortable beds. Property is in a convenient location for all local attractions, and free parking was a bonus. The guest lounge has a range of drinks available to purchase (cash only). Would be happy to stay again in the future.
Decor and bathroom were a little dated. Breakfast was not available when we visited, not a big deal as several cafes are nearby.
