Kayata Cave Suites Special Class

Literally everything. Our stay was absolutely perfect. All the staff are incredibly kind and helpful, in particular the daytime Manager Aykut and his lovely father who taxi'd us around the place all week! What a fantastic host you were. Also a shoutout to Mehmet in the evenings and nights for his incredible service. Thank you for making our honeymoon so so special🙏🏻 we are already planning our return trip next year! Also to add that all ad hoc requests were met swiftly and the hotel is just beautiful. The cave featutes are so cool and in particular, we fell in love with the jacuzzi bath! The hotel is nice and secluded, but close enough to walk into town for lively bars, restaurants & gift shops!

Only suggestion to the hotel is to consider popping 2 pillows per person on the bed, so 4 in total. I feel this is the norm nowadays and helps hoist you up when relaxing on those comfy beds chatting. Otherwise there was nothing we didn't like. Recommend this place through and through!

Before even checking in, Mehmet took the time to reach out via WhatsApp to ensure they were ready when we checked in! After a long day of traveling, checking in at Kayata was a breath of fresh air. Mehmet let us choose between a ground-floor room and a second-floor room with a balcony, and even welcomed us with a complimentary bottle of Cappadocian wine. The next morning, we enjoyed a delicious traditional Turkish breakfast. The room was comfortable and spacious, and it was such a unique experience staying in a cave hotel! Kayata is outside of the city center, located in Urgup, but it was a nice change of pace from Goreme and is a short 7-minute drive/taxi away. I couldn't recommend Kayata more as a peaceful escape in Cappadocia!

This was a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The hosts/family were exceptionally friendly and helpful, while also giving us our privacy. The room was huge and beautiful and comfortable, and the breakfast was incredible. There are many villages in Cappadocia (that I didn't know about), but I liked this one best...easy to walk around, not too crowded and very beautiful. Plenty of fantastic restaurants and shops close by. I would absolutely choose this hotel again!

Un hotel espectacular en todos los aspectos, nos atendieron como en casa desde el primer momento, nos aconsejaron múltiples opciones para poder visitar y que hacer en los días de nuestra estancia, nos ayudaron a resolver cualquier duda, nos pusieron un taxi para nosotros para poder visitar toda la Capadocia, incluso no trajeron una moto de alquiler en la misma puerta del hotel. Si buscáis una experiencia única, no dudéis en visitarlos, instalación i personal 100% recomendable. Si volvemos a visitar el país no dudéis que volveremos a repetir, da gusto encontrar gente tan amable i servicial.

Amazing experience staying in a cave suite and the staff even better! The team at Kayata were so helpful with all my queries! Especially with trying to book experiences (hot air balloon and sunset horse riding). The best surprise was the Turkish breakfast available at the suite! It was delicious every day we stayed! We also loved being able to order room service/tea to the terrace and enjoyed dinner with a view. It is also just a quick taxi ride to Göreme, but Urgup has a cute city centre as well.

This property is tucked around it a peaceful town called Urgup. The staff were amazing and ensured that we had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Meh met greeted us and made sure that everything was set out right. The bed was super comfortable and there is a nice rooftop balcony. They also offer an incredible breakfast. We were very happy with the options.

El servicio al cliente fue excelente, la suite donde nos alojamos muy amplia y cómoda. El hotel se encargo de reservarnos el transporte de ida y vuelta, el paseo en los globos y un tour y todo fue perfecto. Los desayunos fueron muy buenos, incluso el dia que nos íbamos no lográbamos tomar el desayuno y nos prepararon algo para poder llevarnos.

La ducha de la habitación no tiene puerta y se moja todo el baño.

The room was cool, breakfast was excellent and the lady in charge of it was super nice, they also gave us a complimentary bottle of wine.

Communication lack, I expected more support from the hotel to make sure I was not going to pay extra, they were supposed to arrange an airport pickup for us, we had to take a taxi (at least we got breakfast the day of arrival which was not supposed to be included and got an “early checkin”), we were charged extra for the balloons ride in the hotel (130) but the balloons company charged 80, hotel should be a partner who helps their guests. The extra money we paid was then returned, according to the hotel is because the prices changes every hour, but in the balloons website they have a fixed price.

Das Personal war in jeder Hinsicht freundlich und aufmerksam. So sollte Gastfreundschaft in einem Hotel aussehen. Das Zimmer mit eigenem Jacuzzi war traumhaft. Die Lage war etwas abseits der Hauptattraktionen, aber immernoch nahe genug, um für alle Touren abgeholt zu werden.

The property was very clean and carved into the surrounding rock - giving it a real “cappadocia” vibe.

It is located near the top of a hill in Urgup- which makes the return walk from town a little strenuous - but the positive is that town is only a 5 minute walk away.

Amazing! Lovely cave rooms (proper and authentic). Staff were so friendly, went above and beyond to make you feel welcome and at home. Genuinly friendly and helpful re activities, ballon flights etc...but never overselling or pushy at all. Just genuinely helpful. The hotel is in a nice location and it was overall a very nice stay. Would highly recommend.

Location is in Ürgüp, which is a small village about 15 mins taxi ride from Göreme, but that is actually the charme. It is outside of the busy touristy area and the vilage is charming and authentic. So...not really a negative but more of an FYI.

Really attentive and helpful staff, particularly Ayse, who always made sure we had everything we needed. Amazing room - very clean and super comfortable beds with an awesome hammam/jacuzzi room.. Breakfast was delicious - lots of mezzes with eggs and a surprise dish. Highly recommend this place!

Beautiful peaceful beautiful but accessible location. Fabulous rooms with every home comfort. Lovely kind staff special mention to the lovely pregnant lady on reception and the lady who made a delicious top quality breakfast in the beautiful breakfast room the Turkish eggs are a new family favourite ❤️ The beds are super comfy and nothing is too much trouble. There are lovely terraces to enjoy the sunshine and views 😊. Excellent shuttle bus available to and from the airport for a very reasonable cost 👍. Highly recommend.

이틀 숙박이 아쉬울정도로 직원들의 친절함에 너무 감동이었고 호텔앞 뷰는 말그대로 눈이 호강하는 그림같은 풍경이었다 아침 조식은 정갈하고 맛있었다 아침마다 식당문앞에서 무언가 바라는 야옹이들이 눈앞에 아른거린다 너무 귀여운 고양이들... 호텔룸은 난방이 온돌식이라 바닥이 뜨끈따끈하니 한국인인 우리들은 너무너무 좋았다 꼭 찜질방에 온 느낌이랄까 동굴호텔은 처음이었지만 습한냄새가날거라 생각했던거와는 전혀 다르게 뽀송뽀송 쾌적하고 터키식탕도 체험해보는 좋은 경험이었다 다시 카파도키아를 간다면 또 주변에서 간다면 추천 꼭 추천해주고 싶은 호텔이었다

There r so many good things to say about our stay here. The room we stayed in was so spacious and comes with private Turkish bath. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Last but not the least all the staff here r so kind making this stay one of our most memorable. Aukut welcomed us with such great hospitality, lighted up the fire place for us and gave us a nice bottle of red as anniversary gift. Ayse is such a lovely lady and served all our needs from brekky to everything else. Our son was scratched by a street cat and she attended to it immediately. Mehmed is a big guy but what an incredible gentleman. Our flight was booked for 8pm and he gave us late checkout as much as he could, making it so convenient for us. Overall such a lovely place such lovely staff. Thank u so much guys

Kayata Cave Suites is an ideal location if you wanna visit Cappadochia! The room I stayed in was very spacious, clean, and comfortable.the bed was very large with a good mattress, and the Bedsheets were so beautiful! I liked the lights very much! The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional! The breakfast was so tasty,fresh, and healthy ! I felt so welcome in this beautiful design hotel, and the location was perfect, too!

The room was cozy with very comfortable bedding, and it was the only hotel in Turkey that unexpectedly provided toothpaste and toothbrushes, whereas some other hotels didn't even offer shower gel. A SPECIAL MENTION must be made for Ayse, one of the staff members, who was exceptionally warm and helpful. She not only gave us detailed recommendations about local attractions and kept us informed about the balloon schedules but also assisted us in contacting our hotel in Istanbul to help retrieve our lost ID card. She was incredibly kind, and we truly think that she is an outstanding staff. As a guest, I highly recommend this hotel to travelers from around the world. It was absolutely amazing!

Nous avons été très bien accueillis dans cet établissement exceptionnel et très bien situé, à quelque pas du centre ville. Le personnel est très chaleureux et bienveillant, tout en restant discrets. Ils nous ont organisé un tour privé pour aller voir les montgolfières, on va en garder un très beau souvenir. Le petit déjeuner est qualitatif et quantitatif avec une surprise du chef chaque jour ! Mention spéciale pour Mr Fatih et Ayse 🙌🏼 Merci pour tout, on espère pouvoir revenir un jour !

Die Lage war sehr gut. Jedoch benötigt man trotzdem ein Fahrzeug wenn man nach Kapadokya reißt.

Wir haben ein Zimmer bekommen und haben dann auch pünktlich um 14 Uhr eingecheckt. Jedoch war die Toilette verstopft. Somit haben wir ein neues Zimmer direkt neben der Rezeption bekommen, da es anscheinend alle Zimmern ausgebucht waren. Uns würde als Entschädigung 2 Gläser Wein angeboten, dass wir nie bekommen haben und wir auch nicht mehr nachgefragt haben, da sowas automatisch vom Hotel kommen sollte. Unser Zimmer war leider katastrophal. Da ich sowieso schon eine empfindliche Haut habe und unter Neurodermitis leide, hat sich meine Haut durch das stark beheizte Zimmer sehr verschlechtert. Das Zimmer hatte eine Temperatur von 27-29 Grad und wurde dauerhaft beheizt. Als ich das angesprochen habe, hieß es, dass es eine zentrale Heizung sei und wir die Fenster zum Lüften benutzen sollten. Das war keineswegs akzeptabel für mich und sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt! Das Fenster konnten wir nicht öffnen, da direkt neben uns auch die Rezeption war und ab und zu Menschen zum ein und auschecken vorbeigelaufen sind. Das Kamin im Zimmer diente letztendlich nur als Deko und wurde aufgrund des „Wetters“ nicht angezündet, da es anscheinend nicht kalt genug war (Außentemperatur nachts hatten wir 1 Grad). Das Frühstück habe ich schon vor meinem Aufenthalt gut genug von alten Gästen angesehen, jedoch war die Realität eine andere. Man bekommt trockenes Brot und kein Börek oder Pommes wie auf den eigentlichen Bildern sondern eiskalte Pancakes. Ich musste aufstehen und in die Küche um nachzufragen, ob Sie mir bitte mein Tee nachfüllen können.

Kayata Cave Suites is a small hotel but they have very cute rooms and the best staff ever. Very friendly and attentive. Always looking to make you comfortable and assist in any way. The breakfasts are the best.

Absolutely amazing- beautiful rooms (ones with many pools might be a bit humid, but that’s common in case suites), comfortable and clean beds, well functioning facilities. Great breakfast and service, nice dinning environment and Yasmine (our chef) was super nice. Overall very helpful and warm staff. Also the orange cat in the hotel is really cute.

Absolutely incredible. It was like staying in a museum. Everything was beautiful and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful in coordinating our activities and stay. They also treated us to a free upgrade of room. And the cuddly cats was a cherry on top.

We had a great two-night stay at Kayata Suites in November. They check-in via WhatsApp a few days before your stay and the staff is in general super friendly and helpful. The jacuzzi in the room was very luxurious and the breakfast was fantastic! Big plus also for the big parking space.

The bathroom can get a bit stuffy/smelly sometimes and the material off the walls crumbles down a bit but that’s just in the nature of the rooms and how they were built.
