The manager and reception staff could not have been more helpful and friendly and happy to help

We were initially allocated a room which reeked of dried urine, it smelt like a care home, through the hallway walking towards the room and hit us when we opened the door. The manager quickly offered another room when we complained. The cleaning staff obviously left a lot to be desired. They were very lazy, loitering around in the halls and diner, when we went pass them they were very intimidating, talking in their own language and sniggering. It was blatantly obvious they are not trained in either customer service nor cleaning properly, to say nothing of health and safety knowledge, having left a huge cart of cleaning materials in front of the fire exits. Whilst I am a very strong advocate for inclusivity, diversity and equality the mind boggles as to how these cleaners can be instructed or trained in their duties when they dont speak English. This hotel at times was very uncomfortable when moving around, these ladies gathered together in the halls, would not acknowledge us, sneered at us and made comments in their own language as we passed. A very very intimidating experience, will never go there again, no respect for the customer by this group of cleaners who obviously dont know how to clean are just there for the money. Never known anything like it. Horrible experience!!!

The staff at check in were pleasant and helpful.

Your cleaning staff either does not speak English or are just plain rude. I asked someone who was vacuuming the floor if she could give me bathroom tissue, she said oh when the person comes to clean i thinkshe could have offered to get it. . You say good morning and they don't answer. Do you have homeless people staying there. I have nothing against them but it seems as if they want to take over the breakfast area in the morning and you have to navigate around them. Suggestions: you do not have a night light or another light in the room so when you turn off the light by the door you can easily fall making your way back to the bed. You should at least have one other light in the room. Also why don't you provide a microwave. Your prices are not cheaper than other hotels like yours you should have a microwave in the room . The bathroom was very clean.

That there wasn’t any Netflix. All my previous stays at hotels in Brooklyn & Manhattan have Netflix but this place didn’t.

We could not stay here, from the bulletproof glass reception area, to the dirty floors an unsavory characters hanging out front and in the front foyer area. Friends of hours had stayed the night before and left because of the clientele fighting in the hallways and in the room next to them as well as finding roaches in their room. We went to check in to check the property to see if what they were saying was correct and we experienced a very unsavory clientele hanging around out front as well as in the front area. Everything about this property for single women is very scary. My friends were all given refunds but I wasn't because I booked through booking.com so now I have spent over 3 hours trying to get my money back because there is no way as a single woman I would say in this property

Breakfast was good but some more options in food can be there like freshly cut fruits and cheese omlete in menu.

The timing for breakfast can be up to 10.00 a.m. as guests in general are on holiday. Rooms should be cleaned every day by default.

It was in a great location with plenty of transportation options as well as stores and restaurants.

The room was veryyyyy cramped,the pillows are very small,most of their towels have burnt iron stains,a few weird yellowish stains and one towel I unrolled had a long strand of hair. The bathtub floor has a yellow/brownish hue to it. They take forever and a day to check you in and looks like they have to call some place to charge your card. If using a debit card they double charge you hopefully it will drop off otherwise its BS.

I was not impressed by the property. Although it stated not smoking I smelled marijuana everywhere.

It was a affordable place to stay. Clean room and continental breakfast included from 6:30am-9:30am. No parking. A variety of people staying, unfortunately a plexiglass partician between staff and guests.

Room was small but this is NYC but very clean. Some local homeless tend to pass by. Could appear to be unsafe at night entering.
