The location is in old quarter which can be handy if that's the main point to visit. It's also walking distance to major points of interest.

Not very clean. We had to unplug the fridge as it was noisy. The bathroom was outside the room in a private terrace and the water from the sink drained to open space in the terrace, resulting in bad smell from stale water. Otherwise good tradeoff for Hanoi.

The location is great and the staff was kind. Comfortable bed and silence room. good value for the price.

The facilities could use a little maintenance and updating, but overall it was ok

I loved my room, it was very spacious with even a couch and chill area. Location is great if you want to stay in the old quarter. And the staff is really lovely and always open for a chat 😄 One of the showers did not work, but it was no biggie since the room had 2.

La chambre est situé dans le vieux quartier, la localisation est donc parfaite. Elle se situe à l’arrière d’un café pour que vous le trouviez facilement. La chambre est spacieuse mais sans fenêtre. Bon rapport qualité prix

Nous n’avons pas eu d’eau chaude, et avons croisé 1 cafard. Le lit est pas très confortable mais fait l’affaire pour une nuit.

Beautiful and spacious property behind a lovely coffee shop and great location! It even had a fridge! Could not recommend this stay enough , great value for money and everyone working in the coffee shop were very friendly!!

I loved the location. It was exceptional value right in the heart. Best egg coffee and mini mart and pharmacy close by. Beautiful staff too.

It’s not that I didn’t like it, but just FYI if you have the top room - there are stairs to the room.

Hanoi war unser erster Stopp und das Zimmer ist uns die ganze Reise im Kopf geblieben. Alles sehr süß eingerichtet und sauber. Die Lage ist auch optimal, nicht mitten drin aber auch definitiv nicht zu weit weg von allem.

Lovely property and host was very accommodating and welcoming. Made it a lovely first stop in Vietnam :)

要先走一段的陡峭狹窄的樓梯到房間，有大行李的人會比較困難一點。房間很多地方都不太乾淨，牆壁油漆剝落、床上有頭髮和髒污。房間內沒有鏡子，需要走到房外的廁所使用。 浴室是在房間外面，老舊、空間小又不太乾淨，通往廁所的房門還不能關上，所以總是有很多的蚊蟲跑進房間。 整體住起來不太舒適。

A great little homestay, perfectly positioned in the old quarter. The staff are excellent and eager to assist. The room was clean and comfortable, with good water pressure in the shower. A great Ban Cha local restaurant on the next corner (turn right as you leave the homestay) too! Oh, their egg coffee is excellent!

Tutto. Ormai è la terza volta che torno qui, facendo tappa ad Hanoi per poi proseguire con gli spostamenti. Adoro questo posto. I ragazzi sono gentilissimi, la posizione è ottima, hanno un caffè sotto pieno di cose buonissime, mi hanno tenuto i bagagli varie volte per poi farmeli ritrovare direttamente nella solita stanza. Mi fa casa questo posto. E soprattutto è PULITO, le lenzuola profumano, l'acqua è calda, il letto comodo, ho un giardinetto privato, c'è frigorifero, acqua e bollitore a disposizione. Uno dei pochi posti in Vietnam dove il condizionatore non ti sta in faccia e diretto di notte mentre dormi, fondamentale per non ammalarsi.Piu di una volta mi hanno portato i panni in lavanderia e riportati. Per me non è un 10 ma un 100!!!

The location was fabulous and the staff were so amazing and helpful with everything. We did have a few minor bugs but the staff were so helpful at removing them and even offering coffees for compensation. Only thing is there are quite a few stairs depending on what room you’re in otherwise good stay!

Curtains were a bit thin, the floor was very creaky, 4 out of the 7 lights didn't work. We were given a new bulb for one of them.

One of our favorite places we stayed it was very nice. The staff was amazing and the room was cozy with AC a balcony and a private bathroom. Location was also great right in the middle of everything with a convince store right down the road.

The washroom is the only negative in the homestay. Though it was very clean but it's size was on smaller side.

Charming old house that felt very authentic as our first accommodation in Vietnam. We loved having the egg coffee place on site and being so close to everything, really in the heart of the Old Town. The staff were kind and helpful and they even let us store their luggage at the place for some hours a few days after our stay, when we were passing through Hanoi briefly.

The bathroom was not in the best condition and there was no hot water.

LOCATIOM. No doubt, the location was excellent! Especially when the famous Egg Coffee House i just below our room! A few steps away there are money changers, a Circle K convenience store and walking distance to the market, lake and other attractions.

The stairs going up to our room is too tight if you have luggage. The room was BIG!!! but it could use some upgrades like paint, pest control (some mosquitoes and roaches). The bathroom was OK, maybe it was their style of like "undone" So far, it was OK with us until the last night of our stay, we came home around 9pm and there was no water in our bathroom! 4 of needed to take a shower but no water. My son went down the coffee shop to ask for help, I think he did call the owner and when he arrived, he wasn't able to do much and left to get a plumber. Even the other guests at the 3rd floor ca,e down to complain that they didn't have water too. We had water maybe past 11pm and we were so tired but we all neededto get a shower before we slept. I emailed the owner that night and he replied the next day apologizing.

Pésimo. Las fotos no tienen q ver con la realidad. Esa misma noche nos toco buscar otro hotel. En mal estado, no se como tiene tan buena puntuación y comentarios. No lo recomiendo. Lo único bueno fue la amabilidad de los empleados q nos permitieron cancelar la reserva

Le personnel est très accueillant, la chambre spacieuse et propre, très bon emplacement dans le vieux quartier. Ils ont accepté de garder mes bagages et leur eggcoffee est délicieux 😋

La salle de bain minuscule avec les toilettes. Elle est à l'extérieur mais c'est très sécurisé donc pas de soucis !

La moisissure et l’humidité présent dans la chambre est à mon sens dangereux. Présence par ailleurs de cafard dans les parties communes

Das kleine Hostel liegt am Rande der belebten Altstadt von Hanoi. Es war erwartungsgemäß laut nachts, was aber normal ist in der Gegend. Mit Oropax ging es. Das Familienzimmer ist ziemlich groß und liegt im 1.Stock direkt über dem Kaffee mit Blick auf die Straße. Die riesigen Doppelbetten waren sehr bequem zum Schlafen. Man hat viele Ablageflächen im Zimmer einschließlich einer Couch. Das Personal war freundlich. Die kleine Terrasse vor der Zimmertür ist schön zum Sitzen. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei und heißes Wasser mit guten Druck gab es auch im Bad.

Leider ist alles etwas abgewohnt und teilweise marode. Die Farbe blättert von der Wand ab, die helle Couch hat viele Flecken und sollte vielleicht mal grundgereinigt oder ausgetauscht werden. Sauberkeit wird leider nicht wirklich groß geschrieben. Die Bettwäsche hatte einige Flecken, die beim Waschen nicht mehr rausgehen. Alles in allem ist das Zimmer aber ok für den Preis. Was leider gar nicht geht, ist das Badezimmer. Die Leitungen sind undicht, so dass ständig Wasser aus den Hähnen/Rohren tropft. Daher ist der Boden ständig nass und riecht dementsprechend nach Fäkalien und Schimmel. Leider kam das über das Hostel bestellte Taxi zum Flughafen am Abreisetag nicht. Es war früh morgens auch niemand erreichbar. Letztendlich haben wir dann ein Grab bestellt, was uns zum Flughafen gebracht hat. Uns wurde dann aber der Preis für das Taxi auf Anfrage anstandslos via PayPal erstattet und sich mehrfach dafür entschuldigt. Schade trotzdem, wenn man sich darauf nicht verlassen kann.

Great location, amazing coffee, comfy beds, even better people! We stayed a night or two and then left to do the loop and came back we loved the location so much. Bahn Mi 25 deserves the hype and right around the corner, the best bahn mi and egg coffee in Vietnam within 2 minutes of each other, what more could you ask for?

The only message for those with mobility issues is the stairs can be very steep but we loved it!!

This cafe and homestay is a real little labyrinth once you go to the rooms. It was really nice to be in a typical building from Hanoi. The bed was super comfy and the sheets so soft. We had the room with the bathtub and it was very nice. There is always a terasse part with every room as well. The sheets and the towels were clean as well and there is a fridge and a hairdryer in the room. The boss and the staff are reeaally nice. They helped us the 2 times we stayed at the hotel with anything we asked. The egg coffee is inevitably good 💫💫 i recommend !

Ze zouden wel iets meer aan het onderhoud kunnen doen.

Das Zimmer ist sehr gemütlich und super zentral gelegen. Man muss ein paar verwinkelte Treppen hochgehen, das Gepäck wurde aber hochgetragen. Als einmal kurz im Bad etwas nicht funktioniert hat, wurde mir sehr schnell geholfen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert einwandfrei. Eine Schlafmaske ist zu empfehlen, weil es früh schon hell werden kann.

La chambre est grande, il y a de l'espace, le lit est confortable (ce qui est un plus au Vietnam) et le personnel est très sympathique

L'immeuble a besoin d'être rafraîchi, il y a des odeurs dans la salle de bain / toilettes. Un éclairage plus doux donnerait plus de chaleur a la pièce. Pour une personne de 59 ans qui voyage seul, un environnement plus calme aurait été plus adapté. Ce n'est pas la faute de l'établissement (je savais qu'il était situé en plein centre).

Le tet a bon dos pour tenter d arnaquer des touristes qui arrivent tout juste au Vietnam sans repère. Soit disant plus de transport disponible et seule solution proposee croisiere hors de prix pour rejoindre Cat Ba.Heureusement pour nous le propriétaire de la guesthouse suivante à Cat Ba nous a trouve des solutions de transports au tarif normal.

Le lit était assez confortable. Bien que le logement soit situé en plein centre-ville, il reste relativement calme la nuit. Son principal atout est sans aucun doute son emplacement, qui permet de tout faire à pied.

Durant mon séjour, j’ai constaté plusieurs points négatifs. Il y avait notamment des vers/chenilles qui se promenaient dans le logement ainsi que de nombreuses traces de moisissure un peu partout. La configuration de la salle de bain n’est pas pratique, avec la douche à l’étage et le reste en bas. Une odeur de cigarette entrait dans le logement dès que quelqu’un fumait à proximité. La propreté générale laissait à désirer : les gobelets posés sur l’évier semblaient avoir été utilisés sans être lavés. À aucun moment on ne m’a proposé de passer pour nettoyer ou vider les poubelles. L’absence de fenêtre est aussi à noter. Les coussins n’étaient pas confortables : l’un trop épais, l’autre rempli de boules à l’intérieur. Une petite table de nuit serait également appréciable. À mon arrivée, il y avait un papier au sol et un chiffon de ménage oublié sur un meuble.

Der Host war sehr nett und hilfsbereit und hat uns mit der Buchung von Bussen geholfen. Das angrenzende Cafe ist auch super und top gelegen. Das Zimmer war auch gemütlich.

Es war sehr feucht überall, die Wände waren teilweise durchnässt.

If you happen to stay in Hanoi, definitely choose Egg Coffee, it's a guarantee. Beautiful, spacious, and clean rooms. Exceptional breakfasts; definitely try the different types of coffee. The property is right in the city center, excellently located for all the sights. My partner and I stayed in Hanoi for the first three days, then the highly organized staff, expert on the places to visit, organized a tour for us to Ha Long Bay, Ninh Binh, and Sapa, including a two-day trek with a local guide. Then we went to Ha Giang for another three-day motorbike tour, also with an expert local guide. Of course, we stayed at Egg Coffee again for the last two days. A special thanks goes to the owners, very kind and helpful, ready to offer any advice you may need to best visit the city. If you want to take a tour, have the guys at Egg Coffee organize it; in addition to quality, you'll also get great prices compared to the offers you find online.

The location was good

The bathroom was covered in rat poop every morning. I let the staff know and they just told me to cover the hole the rats were coming through on the ceiling (I’m not sure how they thought I was going to do this). I had to ask them to come and clean the bathroom of the rat poop and asked for them to do something to keep them out or switch my room. They said they took care of it so I stayed in the room, but the rats kept coming and they never fixed the whole. It was widely disappointing.

Sehr nettes Personal. Die sehr zentrale Lage. Schönes geräumiges Zimmer. im 3. Stock. Ist jedoch nur über eine schmale und steile Außentreppe erreichbar. Zugang zum etwas kleinen Badezimmer über den Balkon. Hatte mich jedoch im Homestay sehr wohlgefühlt. Gemütliches Café. Werde wiederkommen.

Super bien placé , au centre ville avec plein de restaurants autour. L' hôte a lui-même un petit bar où l' on peut déguster du thé ou du café . Chambre spacieuse , climatisation, literie confortable , petite terrasse agréable. Le personnel est très sympathique 😃! On a adoré ❤️

¡Excelente estancia en pleno Old Quarter! El personal fue súper amable y servicial en todo momento. En especial Tuan, que fue encantador: siempre con una sonrisa y dispuesto a ayudar con lo que necesitáramos. Nos hizo sentir como en casa desde el primer momento. La habitación era muy amplia, tipo dúplex, con dormitorio con aire acondicionado, baño privado con ducha y una nevera, todo muy limpio y cómodo. Sin duda, una opción perfecta para alojarse en el corazón de Hanoi. ¡Repetiríamos sin pensarlo!

I like the room that is so spacious. It is very cosy and unique. I love the decoration and just perfect for the room.

Everything was good. Just would like others to know that our room was on the top floor and the stairs are steep but it was fine for us.

Location wise this place is so perfect! Tucked away behind the coffee shop in the old quarter. Split over two levels is really nice, and aircon in our sleeping area worked brilliantly which was nice. Lovely staff, and great to be able to get such a delicious coffee right where you are staying! Clean sheets and robes were a bonus!

Could have been a little cleaner- top shower had soap on the floor and was looking a bit worse for wear. Also the drains are blocked in the downstairs sink- wasn’t a huge issue, but does attract a few bugs!

The hosts were very helpful and friendly. The location is right in the perfect place to discover Hanoi

Everyone is so helpful and friendly! They helped us book tours for Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh as well as giving suggestions for restaurants etc. Their egg coffees are amazing! We were meant to stay 4 nights but ended up staying for about a week! I'd definitely stay here again!

Es un espacio agradable en mitad del caos de la ciudad, bastante tranquilo para estar en pleno centro. La habitación del top roof es grande, luminosa y cómoda. El chico que atiende en la cafetería es muy agradable y me ayudó a planificar mis visitas a las zonas de interés!

Hay muchas escaleras para subir, pero en general todo me pareció bien.
