Reviewed Nov 9, 2025The house was perfect. In the morning the quietness is sacred. It was an ideal place to arrive 'home', after a long day's work. The provision with an ironing board and iron was incredibly welcomed. It is such a small thing, but really helped. The wifi was very strong to assist with work, and the place was clean and beautifully decorated. A very sweet friendly girl came to greet and check-in on us. The secluded location of the house was also awesome, not having noisy neighbours directly next to you. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Reviewed Oct 29, 2025Dieses Haus ist wunderschön an einem See/ Fluss gelegen. Es steht in einem Reservat, sodass man hier auch einiges an Tieren wie Zebras oder Strauße sehen kann. Ein Aufenthalt hier darf auch gern länger als nur eine Nacht (wie bei uns) sein, denn nur dann kann man es hier wirklich auskosten. Die Kommunikation zum Vermieter war herzlich, hilfsbereit und hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Das Haus ist wunderschön und mit allem was man braucht. Wir waren gern länger geblieben.

Reviewed Sep 15, 2025The warm welcome we received from Mary-Anne was Wow 👌 she made sure that we settled in well in our house for the weekend 🥰 and she was checking on us everyday to make sure if we are ok or if we need anything she definitely knows how to take care of her guests. The place it's super beautiful, peaceful and good for a couple who wants to revive their relationships, it did wonders for me and my wife we manage to spend quality time together enjoying each other's company without any disturbance. We just enjoyed the sound of the water and bird's singing outside it's so peaceful, thank u so much Mary-Anne for making our vacation so special and memorable my wife can't stop thanking me for making her birthday so special it felt like our second honeymoon that what she said and she asked me to thank u 💖 🙏 and tell u that we are coming very sooooon 💘💝💖💗💓💞💕❤️❣️

Waking up to the lake view every morning was breathtaking. I loved watching the sunset over the lake with my husband The cozy ambiance and warm fireplace made it feel like home. We had some amazing conversations and made unforgettable memories It was our 16th anniversary. I surprised my husband, and the host made it extra special. She left a note for us ,heart petals 🤭 and a sparkling wine.. We are happy 😊

People visiting will have to be aware it is accessible by a long gravel track. This didn’t cause me any problems however and I was just in a normal sedan car.

Lake house cabin is absolutely stunning with a breathtaking view of the dam from the dining,kitchen, and bedroom. We enjoyed the main bedroom with the most comfortable bed and with dam view on.Room was massive and very clean, and the room itself was so huge and had all the amenities we needed for our stay . The dining decor and furniture are perfect . Service was unbelievable,good, and of high standards . Everything was just how we wanted it to be .. I appreciate the effort and friendly service by Mary-Anne . Will definitely go back there...soon. Highly recommend 👌
