La struttura ha un enorme potenziale. Le camere avrebbero però bisogno di una ristrutturazione sopratutto nei bagni.

Essendo dentro al parco e distante dai punti di pick up, si deve aspettare un bus con posti liberi, e in base alla bassa/alta stagione si rischia di dover aspettare tanto.

Muy caro para las instalaciones que tiene , pagamos 42€ la noche sin desayuno. Habitación sucia y descuidada. Instalaciones precarias. Baños anticuados y además perdía agua , por lo que se inundó el baño.

Situation exceptionnelle au sein du parc ce qui permet de vivre des moments exclusifs (coucher de soleil, lever de soleil, exploration du par tôt permettant d'éviter la foule). Logement correct, bonne cuisine. Accès au logement relativement facile en suivant les indications. Aide de l'équipe pour organiser au mieux son séjour dans le parc. A noter que si vous avez un bon niveau sportif et souhaiter beaucoup marcher, il n'est pas obligatoire de prendre le pass illimité pour les téléphérique.

Location Location Location! Frank (Li) was always very helpful in knowing the reverse routes for our stay in the park so we were able to avoid the crowds. There is a bus stop nearby that will pick up and drop you off to the viewing areas of Tianzi mountain or Yuanjiajie. My son loved the Tujia braised pork.

The shower drain was slow but they were able to fix the problem right away. There are shower slippers available if you did not bring your own.

The hotel was an excellent choice. It is located inside the national park, surrounded by nature, which means you don’t have to queue every morning to enter the park. The hotel is also well connected to all the different attractions through a convenient shuttle service. The staff was always helpful, starting from our very first contact after booking. They provided us with useful information and assisted us with purchasing the park entrance tickets (I strongly recommend to buy the complete ticket). A special mention goes to Frank, a friendly and helpful member of the staff who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. He helped us plan our itinerary in the park and was always available to assist us with any request or need. Thank you, Frank!

La struttura è piuttosto essenziale e spartana, con una pulizia discreta e complessivamente nella media delle strutture di questa categoria che abbiamo trovato durante il nostro viaggio in Cina. Il vero punto di forza, però, è sicuramente l’accoglienza e la disponibilità del proprietario, Frank. Frank è stato gentilissimo fin da subito e ci ha fornito tutte le indicazioni necessarie per raggiungere senza difficoltà la struttura all’interno del parco. Parla anche un po’ di inglese, cosa che rende tutto molto più semplice per chi non parla cinese. Ci ha inoltre dato consigli davvero preziosi su come organizzare la visita del parco evitando per quanto possibile le zone più affollate, adattando anche l’itinerario alle condizioni meteo non ottimali che abbiamo trovato durante la nostra giornata. La sera del check-in ci ha accompagnati a vedere il tramonto da un bellissimo punto panoramico situato dietro l’hotel, raggiungibile con circa 10 minuti di passeggiata attraverso suggestive piantagioni di tè. È stata un’esperienza davvero piacevole e uno dei momenti che ricordiamo con più piacere del soggiorno. È possibile anche cenare direttamente nella struttura: abbiamo provato la frittata con erba cipollina, il fried rice e il Kung Pao chicken ed era tutto molto buono. Al mattino viene servita anche la colazione, con possibilità di scegliere tra una semplice opzione occidentale e una colazione cinese. Molto comodo anche il servizio di trasferimento dei bagagli, disponibile a un prezzo ragionevole. In questo modo è possibile visitare il parco senza portarsi dietro le valigie e farle recapitare successivamente a Wulingyuan o Zhangjiajie. Nel complesso, è una sistemazione semplice, senza particolari lussi, ma molto interessante per la posizione, l’atmosfera e soprattutto per la disponibilità di Frank, che fa davvero la differenza nell’esperienza di soggiorno.

The staff were amazing, helping plan the best route to explore the parks highlights in one day. Had virtually no waiting at anything. There is a restaurant on premises as well, and the pick up service is the best choice to arrive and leave.

The bed felt like a block of wood.

The position is amazing and allow to avoid crowd and queues. This is one of the few location inside the park and for this reason you can avoid queue for entering in the park. The staff is very kind and Frank helps you in everything you need. From there you can see a fantastic sunset, walking for a short path. Also the food was very good.

Naming of property indicates a resort style accommodation - that is simply not true. It is in my opinion more like a farmhouse home stay /hostel accommodation. Daily cleaning of room happened only on special request, mattresses were very old and worn out, bedframes are damaged, mold around sink, lamps dirty, bathroom drainage of shower did flood whole floor (including around toilet), meal offers were limited and priced like a city location. Pickup service offered by property did charge 5x the price compared to local car hailing service.

Posizione perfetta per essere pronti a visitare il parco la mattina presto evitando file. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo sul servizio di cena e colazione .

Purtroppo la cosa peggiore è che abbiamo soggiornato nella camere posteriori che sono risultate molto umide, piene di insetti ( zanzare e ragni ) ma soprattutto poco pulite alla pari della sala ristorante dove abbiamo cenato. Le foto che mette in evidenza la struttura sono evidentemente ritoccate. Il servizio di trasporto valigie è solo mattutino, se arrivi dopo le 15 occorre lasciare le valigie larghe in un negozio in paese in quanto non trasportabili nei pullman e funivia per arrivare alla struttura.

Molto basica. La nostra stanza era molto molto umida. Impossibile dormirci più di una notte. Bisogna poi considerare la totale immersione nel contesto naturale in cui è inserita. Trovarci qualche insetto più o meno grande è garantito. La pulizia è approssimativa. D’altro canto il proprietario e’ una brava persona e, a suo modo accogliente. L’area del sunset e ‘ spettacolare !

The service of the staf is 10 out of 10. Having the opportunity to be in the park already gives you the possibility to avoid the huge queues and you can visit the full park in 2 days. On request your luggage is transported to an hotel in the village so you can benefit a full day in the park.

Posto incredibile. Dormire dentro il parco vale assolutamente la pena, è un’esperienza unica: arrivato il gestore ci ha subito indicato un sentiero privato in cui in 5 minuti a piedi si raggiunge una piccola area con vista sulle montagne per poter vedere il tramonto, da soli, il parco chiude per tutti i visitatori che non dormono dentro pertanto è un’esperienza unica. Consigliato assolutamente.

La struttura ha un potenziale altissimo: si trova nel cuore del parco e offre una splendida vista sulle coltivazioni di tè. Il personale è gentilissimo e ci ha aiutato a organizzare la visita del parco. Abbiamo cenato una sera nel ristorante della struttura e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti: la cucina era davvero buona (forse un po' più cara rispetto agli standard cinesi, ma considerando la posizione e il contesto è comprensibile).

Purtroppo la struttura è piuttosto datata e avrebbe bisogno di una ristrutturazione. È necessario avere un buon livello di adattabilità, soprattutto per quanto riguarda il comfort. Anche la pulizia lascia molto a desiderare e rappresenta un aspetto da migliorare.

Нам было отказано в трансфере из аэропорта, по причине отсутствия ватсапа. На емаил отвечали раз в 10 часов. В итоге ни заехать в парк, ни заселиться в этот отель не вышло исключительно по вине отеля.

Una experiencia inolvidable dentro del parque. La ubicación es un auténtico privilegio, pero lo mejor de todo fue la atención de Frank. Nos guió de forma brillante por el parque nacional de Zhangjiajie, optimizando las rutas y haciéndonos descubrir rincones mágicos. El hotel es comodísimo y lleno de encanto.

The scenery is stunning, a once in a lifetime experience. Plenty of buses run from one end of the park to the other. Buy the inclusive ticket. The cable car and elevator cost extra on their own, and the inclusive ticket covers unlimited rides. Avoid peak season if you have the option. The park gets extremely crowded, and large tour groups mean long waits. Pick your timing well and make the most of it.

Signage is quite poor understanding a lot of babies in Chinese but even if you got the translation app you can get lost quite easily so that can be improved

The accommodation is situated right in the heart of the national park. The journey from Zhangjiajie railway station to the hotel takes about 1.5 hours. However, you’ll be provided with very helpful videos showing you how to find the hotel. There’s also a taxi service you can book. The staff are very helpful, happy to answer any questions you may have, and will assist you in planning your itinerary. You can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel. We definitely enjoyed the best meals of our entire trip to China here!

Nevertheless, we would have liked the room and bathroom to have been a bit cleaner. Given the relatively high price, we unfortunately felt that the value for money wasn’t quite right. With a little more attention paid to cleanliness, the accommodation could significantly improve the guest experience.

It was closed so didn’t stay there

Staying in the national park itself is such a special experience, we felt really immersed in the park. It gives you the opportunity to get to parts of the park before and after the crowds. The tea farm is stunning, and the accomodation is simple but everything you need for a short stay. The beds were comfortable and very fresh linen. The staff are lovely and very welcoming. They send very helpful instructions beforehand, booked our tickets, and gave us suggested routes to take in the park. The my also gave us free tea grown from the farm which was delicious! The food is super tasty, we ate breakfast and dinner here; reasonably priced and prepared very quickly (which is great - as you’re hungry after a day of hiking!). The staff (thanks Frank!) also took us to the sunset spot and it was incredible, a real highlight. We met other travellers here and it was really nice to sit outside looking over the tea fields chatting with them. As others have mentioned, the bathrooms in the rooms are a bit more rustic, however they have flushing toilets and warm water; so all good - it’s important to appreciate you’re on a farm in the middle of the national park so facilities are a bit more rustic than in a city. We are really glad we stayed here, and definitely recommend to others as a unique experience. Ps bring bug spray and it can get cool in the evening even in summer.

Super friendly hosts and staff! Frank and Alex are really keen to help no matter what you ask them! Next time, I'd stay the full 4 days of park entry with them.

We really enjoyed our stay here and wouldn’t consider any other option to visit Zhangjiajie national park. It is an incredible location in the middle of the national park giving time and freedom to explore. The hosts are very attentive. They know the park inside-out and propose tailor-made circuits depending on weather (in particular localised cloud cover) and preferences with real-time updates ! They have a great cook and food is absolutely delicious. The place is an operating tea plantation and has tons of charm. Accommodation is comfortable. As is often the case in China, the mattresses are very firm, but we were kindly provided with an additional softer mattress. Because it is quite isolated we found that guests tend to chat together in the evening which we really enjoyed.

Everything. The place was wonderful. The hike to the top of tge mountain to see the sunset was a wonderful bonus. And the tea was delicious. Alex is an excelent host

There are a few different ways to visit the Zhangjiajie area if you are not a local. You can get a package with a guide or you can book individual tours that use a guide. Going on your own can be a challenge if you speak little or no Chinese. And it turns out the ways to visit the area are more complex than you expected despite doing a lot of research. So Alex was invaluable in getting the best experience from inside the park. Also Carol helped us a lot via WeChat before our arrival. The meals can be ordered at any time from reception and served in the resaurant from early morning to late at night.

I hated to give the hotel less than 5 star rating in comfort and facilities but you have to be honest as it is not a luxury hotel as compared to other hotels we stayed in the area. You know about that when you book it if you read the reviews. That is made up for many times over by the experience and convenience of staying inside the park the whole time. I'm so glad we didn't book a different hotel.

I think the view is good if the weather was nice. Location far not good if your staying 1 day. Its our fault anyway. But the place is nice quiet and surrounded by nature.

Pour AC is turning off by itself. Our room is very cold we cannot call someone because it night time. Manage to control it but keep turning off. Bathroom not really clean, door must be seal because cold air keeps entering the room.

Had an extremely nice time in Zhangjiajie national park, and that was also due to staying in YOLO resort! I was lucky and did not have to stay in line even in the park, Alex was very helpful planning my routes in the park. The resort is also very nice and have an chill vibe - «hytte - vibe» as we call it in Norwegian! Also very good food, if you are a nature lover - you will love this place! PS; I don’t think you can watch the sunset over the mountains in the national park elsewhere..

We had the best recommendations we had in China. The location is very relaxing and we enjoyed it so much. We are able to get in the park sooner than staying outside. The aeria is beautiful, you can climb to the top of the mountain and the view is stuning. Alex is very friendly and heplfull. We had a very nice stay.

Bathrooms could be improved.

Its location enables you to view the attractions in the opposite order of the tour groups enabling you to skip most crowds. The manager Alex is informative and friendly. The food tastes great and has a ‘home cooked meal’ vibe which you can really taste the love. Smiles all the time. Feels like home. They treat guests like family. Family cat Mimi is also extremely vocal for cheek rubs.

Nothing to complain about . It’s not luxurious but all the facilities work and sufficient.

The room is run down, with dirt and moist on the walls. The bathroom feels dirty. Windows don't close properly. Staff is just there to get your money. Pictures give a false impression. Largely overpriced with meals not included and expensive. Plenty of better value options

We stayed here to get quick access into the park to beat the crowds and that we did. Alex the host was great along with his cat meme. The food on site was good and the view was amazing. It was also fun meeting all the travelers staying at the hotel. This place is very much like a travelers hostel.

The shower was a little rough. Definitely shower with your own personal shoes on.

People working there are just fantastic and very helpful, so you can always ask for advice. And location is special so you don't need to waste time for traveling and explore the National Park more intensly. And sunset spot is tremendous!

I was there early November and it was freezing cold inside the room all the time. The room wasnt clean at all, not even mentioning the bathroom. You had to wait few minutes for hot water in the shower and after the shower the whole bathroom was sinking. And got a spider in my bed (at least I spotted only one). Also price is just too high for the comfort you get

Location was great, right next to the entrance to the National Park - we were given another hotel 3 weeks before arrival. We were originally going to stay in Yolo Resort within the national park itself but the hotel owner decided to close the place down to renovate over the shoulder season. The hotel staff were very helpful, though.

It is a wonderful spot to enoy the whole location. very cozy family hotel, wonderful personnel, amazing views, very delicious local food, cooked from scratch right away. It was a very plesant stay! thank you!

Alex was incredible and helped us plan an absolutely amazing few days in the park so that we could see absolutely everything we wanted to see! He also helped us switch plans last minute in order to spend a day at Tienman Mountain which included spending out last night at their sister hotel in Zhangjiajie which was lovely. Great location for exploring the park since it is the only accommodation within the park itself. However, that meant we couldn't leave after park closing hours or we would not be able to get back in, which I did not realize before our arrival. Food was basic but delicious. Tea from the plantation available at all times. Stay was good overall, but a bit too rustic for my mother.

Had some large bugs in the room (had to get rid of a few spiders and flying beetles) on our first day-assuming they leave the doors open when cleaning between guests and they get in that way. Have to pay for potable water, beds hard, and shower temperature luke warm.

Located inside the national park, the mini buses are an easy stroll from the lodge. Alex did a wonderful job of outlining three days of hiking/strolling through the park. Alex is a wealth of information and also helped us book our travel in and out of the park via air and train.

We also tried coming back in the park another day from staying in a hotel outside and it was a lot of shoving and pushing by the entrance gates! We ate all our meals here once the park closes and their menu options are very adequate! Alex’s English is great you can ask him anything! He planned our route for us based on weather and how many days we are visiting The sunset view is 15 mins walk from the hotel and other crowds from the park won’t know how to get there

You can’t expect luxury from this hotel, it is more like a home stay, we brought with us disposable bedsheets and towels, and it’s definately worth the price you pay, but the benefits of the hotel make it worth it!

La ubicación del hotel dentro del parque es excelente. Puedes ver el atardecer desde un sitio muy cerca del alojamiento. El personal da recomendaciones muy útiles para aprovechar al máximo la estadía. También pueden arreglar el traslado hacia y desde el alojamiento. Totalmente recomendable. La comida está muy buena.

El objetivo de dormir aquí era única y exclusivamente quedarnos dentro del parque y poder estar al día siguiente los primeros visitando el parque. Eso se cumplió a la perfección.

Alex war äußerst hilfreich beim Planen der Touren und bei sonstigen Fragen! Auch die Lage im Park ist top, um abseits und antizyklisch unterwegs zu sein. Essen im Restaurant ist hervorragend, aber der Lage entsprechend etwas teurer - westliches Frühstück ist verfügbar (hatten wir aber nicht), sonstige Gerichte sind authentisch chinesisch. Da kann das Restaurant nichts dafür wenn man das nicht mag - an den Nebentischen ging viel zurück, aber unserer Meinung nach war es sehr gut! Sonnenuntergangsspot und Lage inmitten der (hauseigenen) Teefarm waren top!

Die Informationen zur Anreise/Lage im Resort sind sehr spärlich bzw. schwierig zu verstehen und erst auf Nachfrage verfügbar (früh genug auf WeChat kontaktieren und lästig sein - Achtung: automatische Übersetzung auf chinesisch wird genutzt, also einfache Sätze und nicht alles wörtlich nehmen!) Badezimmer ist sehr "rustikal", chinesischer Standard nicht Westlicher (aber Sitztoilette)

Great location inside the National park. Before arrival they had booked tickets for us. We only needed to identify ourselves by means of passports at the entrence (later on at cablecars and elevator by face recognition). Alex (our host) was very helpful and took very good Care of us. Location is unbeatable. Staff were really helpful in booking tickets and advising us on our itinerary for the park

It comes with the territory, but it was a bit expensive. Given the expense, it was very basic

There's no real advantage to the location being inside the park. You have to wait for the park shuttle buses and its not an official stop so you end up having to wait for an empty one that is being sent after multiple bus drivers see you and other yolo visitors. The wait can be pretty long to be honest. Yolo kind of needs a drop off service really The room has a shower without a shower curtain and the whole bathroom floor gets wet after a shower. Not ideal after a day if rain in the park
