An incredibly welcoming friendly atmosphere. You will read all about the hosts being saints.... It's true. The family who run the place couldn't do more for you. I will take away a great personal story of how the host Lan tracked me down to give me money back because my plans changed and I had to checkout a few days earlier. Ah, yes, the room... Nice comfortable bed with good quality bedding. The room had everything you could need including a TV, mini fridge, and wardrobe for your clothes. The balcony was a really nice suntrap and it felt great sitting on there getting some rays. The hotel is on a really nice quiet street with places to eat and drink next door and opposite as well as littered on the same street. The location is also easy walking distance to the centre, the lake, and other spots.

I can't find any faults, but the only thing I think that is worth mentioning is the mattress in 101 is really firm. Good for the back, but I know some people like a little bit of bounce.

My wife and I had a great stay here. The hosts were warm and very helpful, and we really enjoyed the evening we spent having dinner with them. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed, including toiletries and a hair dryer. We felt so comfortable that we decided to extend our stay longer than originally planned

We had a truly amazing stay here! The family hosting us was incredibly kind and helpful with absolutely everything – they really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The location is great – close enough to the center, but in a quiet area where you can relax. They also have motorbikes for rent at a very fair price, which was super convenient. On top of that, they even helped us arrange transport to the airport for about half the usual price. Overall, just a wonderful experience – we’re really glad we stayed with them!

Everything was great in my stay. SuperB and comfortable stay, extremely supportive staff, good location, and facilities (bed, and lines were in perfect condition and place is sparkling clean. Fan, hot shower, 2 free bottles of water, and TV for who likes it. By the way, according to the owner, I was the first Brazilian hosted here. I encourage my Brazilian colleagues to come and enjoy this place!

Amazing host, took care of us so well! It was clean and comfy, the room was big with many windows and a nice view.

You can hear pigeons in the morning which wake you up. There were 2 steps up from the room to the bathroom which felt a bit dangerous and slippery, but after potting a towel down on the step it was okay.

The Dona was run by a family who were some of the most hospitable and loveliest people I have met in over 20 years of overseas travelling. The room was tidy, well positioned, and comfortable. I had no trouble with the wifi. There was a little restaurant directly across that served beautiful Pho. Thanks again to the lovely owners.

Ms. Lan's place is really clean spacious...she is very accommodating and helpful even when we already check out. She insisted on helping us book our bus from mui ne to HCM.

We read thw reviews and Lan (the hostess) stood out so gave it a try and fully worth it. Stay was amazing, room was perfect (had an extra bed so perfect for unpacking, guess we got lucky) but this homestay is al about Lan to be honest, so sweet and helpful, gave us recommendations on what to do, lovely interactions and just all in all a great person working so hard. Seems crazy with the prices she charges, she could ask for way more!! Big hug to Lan, best host in the game

Lan was the sweetest host we’ve stayed with in all our SE Asia travels!! Great location and easily got around by motorbike that we hired with the hotel (less than £3 a day). Comfortable room with free upgrade and water provided. We will be back!

The host Lan provided us with recommendations and helped us to book a tour and our bus to Nha Trang. She is very welcoming and made our stay in Da Lat unforgettable. The stay is amazing value and only a short walk to the market and away from the noisy streets.

I spent a wonderful week in this hotel. The family who own the place are all so kind and helpful and they truly want to help and enjoy giving recommendations regarding attractions and restaurants. The hotel is in a quieter area of the city which was wonderful- close and far enough from the action. The room was clean and comfortable, water pressure in the shower was good. I will definitely return!

A bit of a walk to the day and night market but ordering a Grab is easy and very convenient. The main attractions are outside the city anyway.

Amazing, welcoming host family who couldn't be more helpful and friendly. The location is also excellent, on a quite street, but easy walking distance to the market and other city attractions, as well as lots of great cafes and restaurants.

Smoking was allowed right outside the room. Luckily there weren't many smokers while we were there, but there were a couple of occasions when we could smell smoke in our room.

I recommend Dona Dalat Hotel because the owner's amazing care. It is a very clean and comfortable hotel, close to everything in Đà Lạt! You won't regret staying here! I will come back! Thank you everything!

- We could choose one of 2 available rooms when we checked in - We got fresh towels each day. This was important, because nothimg really dries in Vietnam! :)

There was a lot of noise each evening - 1st day it was baby crying somewhere in the building and the walls felt like they were made from paper and 2nd day it was some party of other guests which lasted hours even after silent time (mentioned in hotel rules). Also the door to our room had glass window which transmitted light from the corridor (up all night) and gave no sense of privacy when some other guests were passing by it.

I loved everything, but especially the desk lady!! She was kind and welcoming, helping with whatever needed and even going out of her way to give us things.

The family was really nice and helpful. Location was great, near one of the canals where I liked to stroll and find cute cafes.

We didn’t see an adult staff member during our stay so there was no one to ask for tours/restaurants etc but the young boy checked us in nicely.

THere was no breakfast, but the location was good. In quiet neighborhood and within 10-15 minute nice walk to main market and lake areas. Several restaurants or eateries around. THe owner was an absolute wonderful gal who helped us make taxi reservations and suggest things to see or do. She will be missed!

They made me and my partner feel so welcome at their homestay really making an effort to get to know us and gave us guidance on where to go and what to do in Dalat. Noise from other guests but that was not the fault of the hosts!

We are the four guests who stayed three weeks in the Dona Dalat Hotel during October 2024. We rarely provided feedback but the kindness and hospitality of the best quality-service provider/host Ngoc Lan and her husband have been so nice that has made us write down our wonderful experience while staying in their hotel. We arrived in the hotel nearly midnight but when we met and were delightfully welcomed by the host Ngoc Lan, we felt like we are cherished guests in a good friend's home. The hotel's facilities, including beds and mattresses, are all great. Some of us are having back pain but thanks to the beds and mattresses, we slept comfortably every day until our last day at the hotel. The host and her husband cheerfully helped and provided us with anything we needed. We have come to learn that people will forget what this host said and did, but they will never forget how this host made them feel. Because, Ngoc Lan has truly made us and all other guests feel we are valued and cared for, not just as customers but also as good friends. We highly recommend this hotel to everybody who comes to visit Da Lat City should come to experience the best quality service and dedication of the hosts of the Dona Dalat Hotel. This is, perhaps, the key to it all. Understanding the guests deeply gives the hosts the greatest head-start in being able to deliver hospitality that truly makes the customers feel welcomed and cared for.

We don't feel justice for the hosts, if we or anybody else, who have not provided the top stars or 100/100 points to the hosts and the Dona Dalat Hotel's facilities.

This is the most amazing place to stay, the family - Lan, Hai and their children are really kind and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble, you are made to feel like family. The room is spacious and spotlessly clean with a fridge, and the water is hot. The balcony is lovely too. We hired bikes here which was very easy and Lan gave suggestions for places to visit. Dona Dalat is in a great location and it's easy to walk to many sites. Lan helped with our onward trip to Cat Tien & even took us to the bus station. We had so much fun here it was a fantastic stay. We would definitely recommend staying at Dona Dalat. Thank you Lan and Hai.

Perfect stay! The owners are super welcoming. The room is very clean and bigger than the average.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and has great ventilation. The hotel opens 24hrs with a big parking space.

The switch for the water heater is outside of the room, remember to switch on half an hour for hot water.

The host were the kindest I've ever met. I arrived sick to Dalat after sleepless night and she took care of, made me soup and fruits and even let me sleep in the guest room untill my room was ready for check-in. We have a wonderful stay here after a bad experience in another hotel of Dalat. The accommodation was really clean, the room spacious and comfortable. The owners are really friendly and welcoming. The lady helped us with suggestions about restaurants and help us with the transport. I highly recommend to stay here if you are visiting Dalat.

The family it's amazing. They are really nice and the hotel it's near to the centre. If I have to come I will choose to come back to this hostel. Lan is wonderfull and hard worker, she told me a lot of things about the vietnamit culture. 100% recommended.

The hosts are really nice and hospitable, I have spent a great time here. The location is good, just a few minutes walk to the city center, and lots of great restaurants. The room is clean and has everything I need. If I visit Dalat again, I will definitely stay here.

Someone in the next room was smoking and my room would just be full of cigarettes smell every now and then.

Ideal location - it’s a scenic 10 minute walk to town. The room was spacious and quiet, and a perfect temperature; Dalat’s elevation means air-con isn’t necessary, and the fan and opening windows on both sides of the room provided adequate ventilation. The hosts (Hai & Lan) are the NICEST hosts we have met in the past 3 months in Asia. Lovely people, who took time to get to know us, and teach us a few words of Vietnamese. They even bought us banh mi on our last day with them.

The only thing that could be improved is the bed - it was a very firm mattress (seems to be standard for Vietnam)

Room was wide and confortable. Bathroom had hot shower which is important because da lat can be cold. Location is Next to center which is reachable on foot. The host Family is super Nice and help with everything needef. They were the highlight of my Stay.

Lan and had gorgeous family was the highlight for us in Dalat. She was so helpful and also taught us a lot of Vietnamese as well as organized the scooter and anything else we needed. We felt part of the family. Highly highly recommend this place, we didn't want to leave! The place itself has great character with large windows and curtains and lots of light. Everything was super clean. There is nothing more we could ask for and incredible value because the host is so generous!

I stayed here for 3 nights. My room was clean and big and I had it just for myself:) The owners are lovely:) they will tell you everything you need and they are very helpful. You can also rent a motorbike if you wanna go off exploring the area. I would definitely come back.

We liked everything about this homestay

We are family of 5 (3 children 3, 9, 15). We want to thank the owners: Lan and her husband for making our stay in Dalat such an amazing experience and their support throughout our journey in Vietnam. We were allowed early check-in, were consulted on sightseeing in Dalat (Linh Phuoc pagoda, Puppy farm and much more). Lan also helped us out with purchasing the tickets and hotel reservations for our next stay in Nha Trang. Hotel wise, my wife liked wooden floors, which are warmer and best for the kids. I have back pain issues so bed size and matresses were really perfect as well, so we extended our stay at Dona. Location: street with few cars allows for a good sleep and around the corner cafe (Bi coffee) with nice variety of drinks for a kick start the day. All in all this was not just get away trip for us but even more so culturally fulfilling hospitaly and ongoing spiritual journey. We will certanly be back very soon. Thank you so much guys for this heartwarming experience!

My stay was amazing! We had a late check-in, and the owner woke up just to accompany us to our room. We had a spacious, clean, and comfortable room. The owner is so nice and kind.
