JIAN Green House

Es gab alles an Ausstattung, was man braucht, inklusive Waschmaschine und Wasserspender. Es grenzt an ein Studiviertel, was sehr lebhaft wirkt und Woman bestimmt nett Zeit verbringen kann.

Etwas weiter weg von vielen klassischen Anlaufpunkten, man verbringt Zeit mit Bus/Bahnfahren.

The room was clean. The neighborhood around of the flat is nice, lots of cafes and restaurants. The house is cosy, and the other rooms' visitors were respectful of the time/sound.

It would all be better with shutters (a lot of light in the room in the morning) :-)

Die Unterkunft ist ideal für Leute jeder Lebensart. Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett und schnell zu erreichen. Man kann diesen Ort wirklich nur weiterempfehlen! Wird wieder gebucht :)

バス停もコンビニもすぐ近くにあります。コーヒーショップもある、市場もある、美味しいクッパのお店もあります。 ゲストハウスですから、普通に住宅街にあります。夜は静かに過ごす必要がありますが、逆に外も静かでとてもいいです。 大きい冷蔵庫を自由に使わせてもらえます。

住宅街なので夜はくらいです。ダブルルームに向かうには階段を使う必要があります。

Tomamos la habitación solo por una noche, ya que llegamos a dormir y volábamos al día siguiente. Anfitrión bien atento. La habitación limpia y cómoda, espaciosa. El anfitrión hasta nos regaló sopas y agua. Super bien.

Tal vez se podría mejorar el filtro de agua de la ducha, porque al ducharnos se empozaba el agua.

A bit far from public transport

I absolutely loved my stay here. I stayed in a shared apartment, and it felt like a home. There was a kitchen, laundry, dining table, and even a computer if you needed one. The beds were comfortable. The place was very clean and the host was exceptionally nice and responsive. The location is good and not too far from central areas. Expect to take a bus to most places you need to go. I would stay again!

The host was incredibly warm and hospitable, offering sightseeing recommendations and personally driving us to nearby attractions. They even provided us with cold medicine... When we left, they voluntarily drove us to the subway station. We are so grateful! Highly recommended.

The house is located near to Myongji college and university, accessible by subway & bus, convenience store around the corner and emart within walking distance. The owner is friendly and response to messages promptly and extends his kindness in dropping us to the subway. Room , toilet , living room and shared kitchen is clean. Feel like staying at friend’s house, comfortable and nice neighbourhood with the puppy Eden as company.

The host is incredibly accommodating & wants to make sure that you’re enjoying the city. You can also learn a ton about life in South Korea just by chatting with him. I loved staying here!

The apartment is located in a very nice district. The room, bathroom and common area are nice and very clean. The owner is really friendly, we shared a nice evening with him.

It was close to many vicinities, the equipments were all at disposition, it was clean and well maintained and the host was always there for help ! We had such a lovely stay here and won’t hesitate to come again

Частный трёхэтажный дом местного жителя , небольшой подъем в горку , два квартала , очень тихий район и нам было интересно тут пожить. Квартира на третьем этаже с отдельным входом по лестнице, лифта нет, в квартире есть три комнатки которые сдаются отдельно, общая зона кухни и ванна. Ключи выдаются на каждую комнату. Очень чисто, уютно, есть абсолютно всё, как дома. Включая расходники типа порошка и геля для мытья посуды. Удобные кровати. Одну ночь мы провели полностью одни в квартире, на вторую ночь появились соседи. Хозяин говорит на английском , очень доброжелательнвй, встретил, показал всю территорию, разрешено курить на открытой площадке лестницы. Есть две точки WiFi, работал неплохо. Вокруг много магазинчиков и кафе, метро недалеко.

Минусов не обнаружили, разве только странное постельное бельё, простынь оказалась скользкой , будто это было покрывало для кровати. В остальном очень комфортно.

Everything was perfect, the neighborhood, the flat, we had everything we needed ! We got a little problem with an other accomodations when we arrived and Morgan did everything he could to help us, he truly made our trip better and easier for us. We got to visit Korea and Seoul in the best possible way. Thank you again for everything !

We had an amazing stay in Seoul! The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our experience special. He allowed us to check in earlier than usual, which was a huge convenience. The location of the house is very close to Hongdae, which is known for its vibrant nightlife and great variety of restaurants. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Seoul!

TLDR; Bad bad review, did not stay a single night even though we paid in full. Also quite sure the accommodation buys reviews as the location is really a hike. Unfortunately, we had come at a bad time - the owner had construction downstairs & our door had a lock issue. It is unfortunate that the door lock was spoilt when we tried as it was rusty and apparently could not be closed from the front. The owner wanted us to pay for it which really made us confused because at first we thought not to hold it against him. [Edit: He originally told us it would cost 15,000 KRW but after that told booking.com it would be 350,000KRW. I can't believe what he tried to pull on us.] We did not stay but opted for a different stay after especially due to the discomforting messages he made. We wanted to really get past this because it really was the start of the trip. Still, he disputed our refund despite seemingly agreeable & sorry to the situation at first... so that's why we even have to warn other people now. To be honest, we would have been ok with a refund & crediting this to like a series of unfortunate events (at first owner really seemed like a nice guy) but now we know it might not have been sincere of him either. Bus strikes happened in the area too so we were thankful to have moved. Bear in mind even objectively & factually it is very very far even from the bus stop. You would need to lug your luggage from the bus stop through the neighbourhood. I do not think we wanted response but yes this is all true & we did not stay but still had to pay in full so it's only fair you know that DESPITE expecting that we might not get our money back, we chose not to stay.

It's not fair to expect your guests to feel like massive construction & drilling below + a door that first cannot lock from the outside & was actually rusty. Guests are here on holiday... like all of them, we just wanted to have a safe & good time & both were compromised. Owner scared us too... For example, he mentioned in anger that he fixed the door alone... which I don't understand what he expected us to do about his own place. Please, think TWICE!! We wish we did.

This accommodation offers a very hospitable and friendly atmosphere. Our host, Mr. Morgan Lee, was incredibly supportive and helpful throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to assist us, especially when our flight was postponed and we needed to reach the subway quickly; he helped us once again, just as he did on our first day. The rooms are well-equipped and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bus stop is just a 5-minute walk away, and there are several grocery stores nearby, making it very convenient. We highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

Our host Mr Lee was so kind and generous, and he showed us all the best spots around the neighbourhood. The apartment was very clean and the heating was great. The kitchen was great and he provided free soy sauce and salt for cooking.

The location is slightly far away, but is it very easy and cheap to get a bus straight to the center of town so overall not a problem.

I really liked this place. Quite comfortable and warm. It’s also conveniently located very close to market stores and bus stops, and at a reasonable distance from main attractions in the city. It works quite well for a solo traveler. The owner was very friendly and helpful when I needed help.

Everything was absolutely perfect. You will sleep so good in this very nice and confortable place. The host do his best to make your stay perfect. The localisation is very nice. The house is very quiet and you can fine a lot of good restaurants next and it's very good connect to the center of Séoul. Everything was absolutely perfect and I strongly recommend this host and home to the booking community.

Owner is very kind and helpful. I truly had wonderful stay. It's a two bedroom house that each room rent separately. Then it has all facilities. Kitchen, TV, fridge, living and dining room and etc. it was very comfortable stay.

The house was better than we expected, it was so nice having the space to ourselves. The host was very kind and friendly. I would highly recommend this place to travelers.

Wasn't walking distance to any major attractions but very close (6 minutes) to a bus stop that went straight into hongdae
