really liked the friendly staff, the welcoming atmosphere, the cleanliness, and the great location. The hostel was comfortable and had a nice atmosphere for meeting other travelers.

Relatively cheap

I specifically asked if there's air-conditioning at least in the bedroom before booking, and the answer was yes. It turned out it's switched on only during night time and at a relatively high temperature of around 25°C, with the remote control kept by the staff. My plan was to go out just early morning and late evening to escape the mid-day heat of around 40°C in Marrakech. So the lack of air-conditioning during day time defeated my original purpose. Despite my repeated requests, the staff insisted, so I chose to leave one day earlier with the last day rental returned to me. I regard it as a misunderstanding at the very beginning, rather than a scam. In fact, the (apparent) owner did offer me to soak into his adjacent private pool, while the other staff did lend me a knife to cut my melon later on. So at the end, it's a harmonious early separation upon mutual understanding and agreement. I do however want to advise the owner that there's really a market demand for full-day air-conditioning, so perhaps he can arrange such a room probably at a higher rental, which should cover his extra energy cost, while enhancing the hostel's relatively low occupancy rate.

Do quarto, do conformo da cama. Penso que podiam colocar uma cortina nas janelas pois a luz da área interna do local atravessa as janelas e deixa o quarto com muita luz atrapalhando o sono

The air conditioner worked really well in the women's dorm room. Really cold drinks are available for sale, 10 dirhams. It's very clean all over.

I don't like that I was under the impression (from pictures) that breakfast was included.

Het hostel, een Riad ziet er prima uit, voldoende dormitories, prima gemeenschappelijke ruimte, prima sanitaire ruimtes en buitenruimtes, terrassen. Het personeel prima behulpzaam. Inclusief ontbijt

De dormitories beneden, grenzen aan de gemeenschappelijke ruimte, kan lastig zijn als er mensen laat in de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes zijn. Goede afspraken maken Er was even commotie omdat ik 's nachts vertrok, was de deur alleen met een gebruiksaanwijzing open te krijgen, gelukkig een medereiziger heeft geholpen. Er was niemand van de nachtploeg in de buurt van de receptie. Absoluut een punt van aandacht.

M'ha agradat molt el lloc. Al principi et pot semblar que està lluny, però en 10 minuts estas a Jemal-Fna, amb la avantatges d'estar en un barri, la Kashba, molt més tranquil i on encara els habitants locals fan la seva vida sense la nostra presència massiva, la dels turistes. Els que s'encarreguen de l'alberg són molt macos i posen totes les facilitats possibles, tot i que sovint estan relaxats mirant els seus dispositius, si necessites quelcom, et responen. És un lloc senzill però amb tot el que cal. Jo he viatjat sola i he estat molt bé.

Potser ja sóc una persona gran però recordo quan anaves a un hostel i en el moment on els hostes ens trobavem als espais comuns, s'interecanviaven experiències, ara amb tots els dispositius mòbils que tothom porta, al final, cadascú està amb la seva pròpia bombolla i és fa més difícil de comunicar-se entre nosaltres i conèixer gent quan un viatja per conèixer locals o experiències d'altres viatgers. No crec que sigui responsabilitat d'aquest hostel, és només una reflexió que he trobat diferencies entre viatjar ara sola o fa 15 anys...

Staff is nice and friendly. Location is convenient, a nice traditional house with good decor situated in the historical district of Kasbah, old heritage on walking distance. I got good price with breakfast, although basic one. Plenty of space to sit and socialize.

Kitchen is important for me and there is no kitchen. Room was small with no place to hang your cloths, bed was not comfortable. Photos of the hostel are not depicting the property now.

Even it was a hot weather they switched off the air conditioning at night, Not comfortable for sleeping. Staff was not good as expected,

The hostel was not very clean bathroom bed room even the kitchen. Staff were not very friendly. First time stayed n hostel to get experience but felt worst experience. Very poor hostel to stay over.

Хороший и комфортный хостел в Медине в Маракеш. Я тут жил 5 дней и скажу честно для Маракеш это много и я бы закладывал 2 дня и не тратил больше. Отличные завтраки бесплатные. Кровати кстати очень удобные, визуально может многим не зайдет, но спать было удобно и спина не болела + в комнатах стоят кондиционеры. Всегда есть хороший напор горячей и холодной воды. Локация супер и рядом есть крутая сетевая кофейня Dahab - где есть разный кофе включая из Сальвадора. Рекомендую это место

Я забронировал 6 местный номер, но меня изначально пытались заселить в 8 местный- хорошо что я умею считать и парень наверно на рецепшене был новичок и не знал всех тонкостей работы.

In een kleine kamer met drie stapelbedden vreesde ik voor lawaai van snurkende mensen maar het viel enorm mee. Het personeel stuurde me voor alles (slotje om mijn kastje dicht te doen, water en andere drankjes) naar het eerste winkeltje rechts als ik de straat uit ging. Denk dat hun keuken gesloten was want voor avondeten raadden ze me Menara Food (op Rue de La Kasbah) aan. Toch moet ik er ontbijt gegeten hebben want ik herinner me dat ik de schildpad in residentie (op dakterras) een stukje pannekoek met honing heb proberen te voederen. Ik heb trouwens in het weekend dat ik er verbleef veel tijd op dat dakterras doorgebracht, aangenaam schaduwrijk. Voor de prijs is het een zeer goede keuze. De wifi werkt, de douches hebben warm en koud water, er zijn genoeg toiletten.

Misschien een handdoek aan elke gast aanbieden, maar voor 9 of 11 euro per nacht kan je dat niet echt verwachten.

The social life of this hostel is second to none. Met people and made friends that sounds something out of a movie. Had a brilliant time!

Kedves személyzet, jól felszerelt kényelmes szoba és fürdőszoba. Nagyon szép az épület, különösen tetszett a tetőterasz. A reggeli is kellemes volt. Gyalogosan 8-10 percre a főbb látnivalóktól, busszal könnyen elérhető a repülőtérről. Szivesen megszállnék itt máskor is.

Kasbah Red Castle Hostel was a great choice for exploring Marrakech. The location is excellent – right in the heart of the medina, yet peaceful enough for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was generous and homely, though the menu stays the same each day, which gets a little repetitive after a few nights. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive – since we had an early checkout, they prepared a breakfast bag for us to take on the road, which was a really lovely touch. Would recommend to anyone looking for an authentic experience in the heart of Marrakech!

The only minor downside was the weak water pressure in the shower. Understandable for a riad in the old medina, but worth mentioning.

Great place in a quiet part of Marrakesh. I wish it had a kitchen to use but breakfast here is good. Helpful staff and beautiful roof balcony and chill area.

I loved the common place and the staff was so helpful with booking a taxi for pickup from the airport. I loved staying here so much that i kept extending :)

Spacieux, plusieurs terrasses conviviales. Les hôtes sont accueillants et chaleureux. Les chambres sont aussi spacieuses avec rideaux aux lits superposés (lits du bas). Dortoirs mixes ET non-mixes (selon souhait).

I stayed here in two seperate night, first night I arrived very late. They kindly booked me a taxi and also collected me from the street to make sure I’d be safe walking to the hostel. All the staff are friendly, yesterday two gentlemen were there, super funny and easy going. As a solo female traveller they made me feel welcome and taken care of. The location is great as it’s away from all the hustle and close to local markets and shops all around. A square is conveniently nearby with taxis so not far to walk. The beds are comfy and extra bedding is provided. Very cheap €2 breakfast and lovely terrace!

The showers kept getting clogged as there was a lot of hair in the drain in the girls bathroom.
