Ea una propiedad increíble. Ofrece mucha privacidad y vistas hermosas al océano Pacífico. El restaurante es magnífico también.

Fresh breakfast is cooked every morning with amazing ocean views. We got an upgrade because it was low season and stayed in a two-floor suite with its own pool, views of Zipolite, a comfortable bed, and another balcony. Really amazing stay, and the property has 3 pools at different levels, including an infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Wish we had extended our stay.

Was echt perfect plekje. Op een rustige plek in Zipolite met uitzocht over de baai. Heel fijn om even bij te komen na een paar dagen in de stad.

Everything! Absolutely fabulous place to stay. The villa was amazing in every respect.

Die Unterkunft ist fantastisch und die vielen Stammgäste, jährlich wiederkommend, sind der Beweis. Das Frühstück, uA jeden Morgen ein anderes warmes mexikanisches Gericht, war wirklich sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind alle unterschiedlich und haben alle ihren eigenen Charakter und Ausstattung. Ich habe direkt für nächstes Jahr wieder gebucht!

Stunning views and the very best of service.

Beautiful views, and I enjoyed the relatively private beach. Very friendly staff.

Beautiful and private property with gorgeous ocean views. Quiet, peaceful, private. Simple but clean and spacious rooms, simple bathroom, but functional. Spacious and private balcony/deck. Two small but beautiful pools. Daily breakfast and happy hour included on the communal deck overlooking the ocean which was such a treat every day. The staff are extremely helpful, friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Fellow guests were also very friendly. Small property just above the town of Zipolite, so it is quiet and peaceful, but close enough to walk into town (15 minutes).

Everything met my expectations. Guests should know that it is a lot of stairs and walking daily to go in and out of the town, and the property is a bit isolated, so going out to meals and exploring the town and surrounding area requires some planning and effort.

Everything was perfect. The staff is very professional and dedicated, landscaping beautiful, rooms are in excellent condition.

The owners, Craig and Jorge, and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The complimentary breakfast is delicious and filling. The location is fantastic with beautiful views of the ocean or the beach. The rooms are beautifully appointed and comfortable.

Setting, accommodation, view and art. Staff was great. Friendly and engaged.

There are a lot of stairs to negotiate. Older guests might find this difficult.

It’s the best place to stay in Zipolite by a mile, don’t hesitate for a second! We had a room upgrade which was phenomenal

It has everything, great staff, great breakfast , happy hour, fantastic restaurants and very good value for top notch food. Less than 10 mins walk to the much noisier town.

My husband and I have traveled quite a bit. Out of all the places we’ve stayed Casa Sol has been our favorite. The hospitality of the staff specifically Isaac, Caleb, and Christopher is unmatched. The property is absolutely gorgeous. We also love animals so blue and Cafe were wonderful. Thank you so much all of you!

La localización y diseño de estas villas son espectaculares. Atención de 10, siempre super atentos y serviciales a nuestras necesidades. Tener piscina en tu propia habitación, con vistas al mar, es maravilloso. Buenos desayunos, un detalle tener happy hour y limpieza constante. Un verdadero lujo, no podemos más que poneros un 10!

Would give it eleven stars if I could! We spent two dreamy days here. You feel very welcome and the personnel (especially Isaac) were very welcoming 😊 We loved the villa so much that we spent almost all our time there just soaking in the view and enjoying the days.

Amazing Villa we stayed in - with private pool. We enjoyed sunbathing in the afternoon and watching Zipolite lights in the evening. Incredible staff - always willing to go above and beyond to help.

Beautifully appointed property, set in a stunning location .

The shower was on the cool side but we thought that was just normal. When we told staff at end of trip they were apologetic and said we should have let them know bc we should have had hot water. Other than that the trip and place is awesome. A lot of stairs , fyi. We didn’t mind but keep in mind if u have trouble or bad knees, etc.

Staff greeted us at the door, gave a tour of the property, provided us a WhatsApp number for any questions/requests and were very helpful, amenities are great, views are spectacular and morning breakfast was wonderful

Very little to not like. Only improvements are that food and drinks from the club house took a long time to arrive and we wish the bed in hideaway was a king rather than a queen

Room with the view (with the terrace) is big, beautiful and comfy. Staff is very nice too. The whole place is well taken care of and nice . They also have 2 restaurants on site (one for lunch Time - and the dinner one which is upscale). I think Alquimista and Casa Sol are the 2 Best in Zipolite.

It can be noisy in the morning . For example, dogs were barking very loud early in the morning. Not sure if it was the 2 beautiful owners’ dogs living on the property . Also, as a single traveler, it can feel isolated … but for a couple, i think it could feel romantic.

The property is excellent. It exceeded my expectations. The view to the beach was awesome. Actually, we did see a whale from our room. The room has a private pool. Everything worked very well. The place is peaceful. The people is very kind.

The breakfast is a little basic, although it had a really good taste is just two types of fruit and one single type of cake for the coffee. Every day they change the main plate for the breakfast.

Check-in was very easy, however there wasn’t a sign to indicate where check-in was, and I could easily have gotten lost. That would have been helpful. Otherwise no problems.

The bed was so comfy & the staff so welcoming. Special love to Issac who was very kind & couldn’t help us more. Loved the villa with private pool to refresh ourselves throughout the day & the private beach was such a relaxing place. We will be back! The restaurant is great for dinner too.

Hotel Casa Sol / Villa Maquilis a perfect spot for couples or friends looking to relax. The rooms are more like little houses, and some even have their own pool, which a nice bonus. Breakfast is included, and it’s such a treat! The staff is super friendly and welcomes you every morning to a gorgeous terrace with an amazing view of the ocean. The food is fresh and delicious, making it a great way to start the day. The room we stayed in was really clean, the bed was super comfy, and the shower was spacious and refreshing. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially with the heat—it made everything so much more comfortable. If you’re looking for a chill, beautiful place to stay in Zipolite, Casa Sol is definitely worth it. It has everything you need for a relaxing getaway!

The location might be challenging to reach for those with limited mobility, as the property has many stairs (it’s situated on a hill). It’s about a 5-minute walk to get to Zipolite town, but depending on the type of trip you’re planning, you might not need to go into town at all.

This place is amazing, almost paradise… The location is fantastic on top of a lush hill overlooking the beach and the sea… very close to centre and beach of Zipolite and some nice restaurants. It even has a small (almost) private beach! The main café where you have breakfast is really nice and welcoming with seaview. The apartment we were going to stay needed some works so they upgraded us for two bedrooms with amazing views and spatious. The restaurant Q was also exceptional. And the owners and staff were very nice.

not much… the access from the main road is not paved and could be in better condition. The shower could be improved… the water jet was not very effective. Coffee at breakfast could be better, I suggest some italian espresso!

The property is nested between two mountains and it has its own beach access. Is also located nearby the main beach and town and walking distance to other resorts and restaurants
