We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed the beautiful traditional Kerala architecture of the property. The entire place was exceptionally well maintained, clean, and very comfortable. The hospitality and customer service were outstanding, making our experience even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy an authentic and relaxing stay.

I would also like to suggest conducting a proper inspection of the rooms before handing them over to guests. We experienced an issue with an electric lamp that had a short circuit, so ensuring all electrical fittings are checked for safety would greatly improve the guest experience. Additionally, having more food options on the menu would make the stay even better.

Ma chambre était dans le couloir, qui donnait sur les tables du restaurant, en RDC. L'endroit était donc malheureusement bruyant et surtout impossible d'ouvrir les rideaux car à la vue de tous. Même si cela ne m'a pas posé de problème, j'ai noté qu'il manquait la TV

Situation bonne , bon restaurant dans une résidence vieille de 120 ans.

La salle de bains beaucoup trop petite et trop de mobilier dans la chambre qui est d'une taille moyenne.

Allerede ved ankomst opstod der problemer, da vores værelse ikke var klar. De tidligere gæster havde ikke tjekket ud, og vi måtte vente ca. en time efter check-in tidspunktet, selvom de skulle have været ude fire timer før. Vi brugte hotellets vaskeservice, men tøjet kom retur mere beskidt end ved aflevering. Vi klagede og ønskede ikke at betale for en service, der ikke var udført korrekt. Hotellet tilbød at vaske tøjet igen, men grundet mangelfuld kommunikation (mangel på engelsk) skete det aldrig, og de nægtede at bruge en anden udbyder. Billede er vedhæftet, som viser tøjet efter det kom retur sammenlignet med efter vask derhjemme. Trods en aftale om halv betaling for vaskeservice, endte hotellet efter dialog mellem reception og ledelse med at opkræve fuld pris. Receptionisten forsøgte at finde en løsning med ledelsen, men forklarede, at en reduktion ville blive trukket fra hans løn. Det er helt uacceptabelt og uetisk at lægge det ansvar over på medarbejdere. Vi observerede også rotter flere gange på området. Det blev meldt, men mødt med ligegyldighed, hvilket er bekymrende for et hotel med restauranter, som også er åbne for eksterne gæster. Derudover var der borebiller i døren, og hotellets dam medførte mange myg, hvor selv myggespray ikke hjalp. Som Europæere, der har rejst i Indien mange gange og normalt oplever høj service og gæstfrihed, var det her markant under standard og helt uhørt. Vi kontaktede også Booking.com, som forsøgte at mægle uden brugbar løsning. Samlet set er det uacceptabelt at betale for en ikke-leveret service og samtidig opleve alvorlige hygiejneproblemer. Vi kan ikke anbefale dette hotel.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft, mit einem Garten und einem kleinen Teich. Die historische Einrichtung lässt die Geschichte des Hauses lebendig werden, ohne dass man auf Komfort verzichtet.

Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel im schönen Kolonialstil mit freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal. Eines der wenigen Hotels in Kochi, in dem Alkohol und kaltes Bier serviert werden. Unsere Villa war sehr sauber und komfortabel. Klare Empfehlung!

The rooms were very small

Very well maintained beautiful property. The location is perfect. Would love to stay again.

The Lpg issue has hit the property and hence in the breakfast the variety was less and the lunch time the restaurant is closed. They are not even using induction for serving the guests also this info was not given to us when we were checking in. While check out very early in the morning the staff was not clear with the payment so kept on asking that i have to pay again and i had to keep showing him the record and proof of my payment clearance way before i checked in.

I cant rate the breakfast, because we were there during the LPG Gas crisis. So it was limited because of the given circumstances.

They could offer a variety of coffees, like cappuccino etc. Could add muesli, cornflakes, yoghurt..

Stepping into this ancestral homestay truly felt like traveling back in time. The old traditional wooden furniture, earthy floors, and lush greenery created such a peaceful and calming atmosphere. Every corner had a charm that reminded me of the beauty of simpler days. The ambience was absolutely lovely—quiet, serene, and perfect for unwinding. And the food was definitely a highlight! Delicious, homely, and made the experience even more memorable. I did miss the chance to stay in the cottage this time, but that just gives me a perfect reason to come back. Looking forward to trying it on my next visit

Lovely place in Fort Kochi. A spot where you can relax in a nice historical place. Nice garden and restaurants with very good food and a good amount of choices. The staff are where very nice and helpful.

Locarion was close to all the main sites.

We got Room 1 which was positioned with the main check-in/reception desk and foyer outside our window. This meant lots of noise throughout the day and into the late evening. The bathroom was terrible - sewer smell, lots of mould on the ceilings and lots of small flies which I presume were coming in via the drain/vents.

Lovely heritage hotel with a tranquil garden. Very central location. The restaurant food was excellent and reasonably priced and the waiters were very friendly.

Breakfast wasn’t great and it would be nice if they served coffee. They weren’t very welcoming at check in.

We had an early checkout and the manager was exceptionally kind—he arranged a travel-friendly breakfast for us and delivered it the night before, which we really appreciated. The building itself is beautiful, and the gardens are lovely and well maintained.

Unfortunately, our room was not clean on arrival, particularly the floors and bathroom. We had booked a triple room, but the space for the third bed was extremely cramped and uncomfortable, which made the stay less enjoyable. With a bit more pre-planning and better management, this could be improved significantly.

beautiful verandah, and peaceful courtyard in the heart of fort kochi - excellent location for sightseeing. the staff were very helpful, and the food delicious! the rooms were well appointed, very comfortable beds and linen, good wifi, and other amenities you might want - dgitial TV / fridge / hairdryer etc.

we choose a smaller room which was in the main house, this meant that the windows looked out onto the public verandah and were blocked, which meant that the room had no natural light... if this important to you, i would choose one of the other rooms

Staff was extremely helpful. Breakfast was simple, but tasty. The property is very beautiful with a small pond.

The room was not cleaned properly. The bathroom, room floor, towels and bedsheets were dirty. Appliances such as AC and TV were not working properly. Wifi was weak and occasionally not working.

The rooms are extremely tired and are in serious need of redecoration and repair, the bedding and towels were visibly stained and even asking for these changing were still the same.

The property was very beautiful and the room was spacious. The service was also very good.

The key problem was the food. The breakfast was quite basic. There was no option to order for eggs. Also there was no coffee machine or filter coffee. This was a big drawback for a high end property like this. Further the food was very average. We expected much more in terms of quality and variety of foods.

部屋の清掃がいきとどいていなかった。サイドテーブルにはグラスの輪染みがべたべたと残っていて、瓶のふたが放置されていた。クロゼットの中に使用済みの靴磨きが放置。 タオルが人数分ない。タオルに染みがついていた。 途中からお湯が出なくなった。 部屋のガラスボトルに入った飲料水は封がなく、衛生面が不安で飲めなかった。 ホテルのレストランではオーダーを間違えられた。 朝食のビュッフェはインド料理メインでチョイスが少ない。

Lovely boutique heritage property with 9 rooms, and a very good restaurant in the heart of Fort Kochi

The property is nice and in a good location to walk into Fort Kochi.

I wish I could say that this place was cheap and cheerful, but unfortunately it was only cheap. The property has a lot of potential but it falls short - the staff don’t seem too enthusiastic and when we went to the restaurant, they hardly had any of the things we wanted to order. The bathroom also had a very disgusting smell the whole time we were there.

The overall experience - not worth the price at all. We were returning after dinner at around 11 PM or so, to find the gate locked. The security, before we left for dinner, told us to knock once we were back to have the gate opened. Once we got back, we tried knocking and contacting the reception via phone, only to hear it ringing, and no one responding. Finally after waiting for 30 minutes we had to jump over the wall to get in. Finally, a staff member came over and we requested that action be taken.2 days later, there was zero feedback and when we asked again why there was no action taken, the manger said there would be something done - totally unacceptable and highly unprofessional. In addition, the room was not well kept and the bathroom in the suite room was stinking really bad that we had to keep using room freshener. The breakfast had very limited options and the juice was full of flies - when we filled in a glass from the dispenser, we had a glass full of dead flies. In short, this place overcharged and the experience of the stay was really poor. Will not recommend the stay at all.

Avoid Room 101 - adjacent to reception and particularly prone to noise and especially talking of the night porter seated right outside the window. Woken at midnight by his telephone conversation (with a friend) and we complained. Electrical fittings in Room 101 very suspect and l got an electric shock from a table lamp switch with bare wires. Room safe was not attached to anything and easily removable - useless! We were moved to Room 105 upstairs and much happier even though a smaller room. It was quieter and everything worked - electrics/room safe.

The staff is especially warm and welcoming. Our request for room change was immediately considered and completed within 5-10 minutes after arrival. The food services, the staff at the reception and in the kitchen and at the dining area are really good at what they do. This was my second time staying with them and it was even better than before. Absolutely love the toiletries and supplies. Affordable items in mini bar too. Quick support for requests like iron box for ironing clothes, food services are fast too. Delicious food!

In the bathrooms, there is a peculiar smell in the shower areas. I recommend a thorough check for strong smells and take necessary steps to keep it fresh. The floor towel was a little dirty.

O hotel é lindo, a equipe é super simpática, a limpeza é boa, o café da manhã é delicioso e o restaurante do hotel também é ótimo. Um agradecimento especial à recepção que estava sempre disponível on-line (pelo booking) e durante o período em que estivemos lá.

No quarto que fiquei subia um pouco do cheiro da cozinha. Mas creio que deve ser algo específico deste quarto, que ficava no primeiro andar.

Prettiest heritage property in the Fort Kochi area with a very warm and welcoming staff. The food was excellent boasting the evergreen and amazing Kerela style cuisine. Highly recommended!

El patio interior con el lago hacía una estancia super agradable. Los desayunos y las cenas en esa terraza eran geniales. El personal super atento.

Las habitaciones de la planta de abajo son pequeñas, con mucho olor a anti mosquito (y pese a ello picaduras), con ruido por estar cerca del restaurante y sin mampara la ducha. Las habitaciones de arriba, más caras, eran maravillosas.
