Autumn Home Stay

Gastgeber war sehr nett, die Lage perfekt. Wir haben gute Tipps für aktivitäten erhalten. Traditionelles Frühstück lecker. Schöne Natur und Balkon. Es gab Affen zum beobachten. Unser Gepäck durften wir nach dem auschecken noch in der Unterkunft lassen. Wir würden es jedem empfehlen her zu kommen!

Grande chambre très propre. Lit confortable. Très bon emplacement pour aller visiter à pied le temple dans les grottes et le temple d'or. Nous avons loué un scooter, livré directement à l'hôtel : très bien pour circuler dans la campagne environnante et aller voir d'autres temples 🤩.

Petit déjeuner un peu triste servi dans une toute petite pièce.

Increíble! Nuestra primera toma de contacto al llegar a Sri Lanka y no pudimos acertar más! Que familia más agradable y atenta. El desayuno muy bueno, también le pedimos la cena una noche y también muy muy rico. Muchísimas gracias 😊

Quizás no lo leí bien, pero no tiene agua caliente o por lo menos no supe cómo funcionaba, pero no nos importó, dado que la estancia por todo lo demás fue increíble

La localisation parfaite pour faire les caves juste à côté (13min à pied. La propreté irréprochable du complexe. Chambre spacieuse et équipée. Un petit déjeuné excellent. Et surtout, la gentillesse de nos hôtes.

Der Host hat uns in jeder Hinsicht unterstützt und uns hilfreiche Tipps gegeben. Er hat uns auch gegen einen fairen Preis früh morgens nach Sigiriya gebracht und auf uns gewartet. Das selbst gekochte Abendessen war sehr gut und auch das Frühstück war sehr üppig und gut. Nur ein kurzer Fußweg zum Cave Tempel. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und der Gastgeber war einfach super!

Die Toilette könnte sauberer sein.

Pokoj byl čistý a prostorný v docházkové vzdálenosti na Rock temple. Do centra města uz jsme jezdili tuk-tukem nebo nas svezl hostitel. Snídaně byly dobré (dostali jsme Srí Lánské palačinky, vajíčka a ovoce, kavu a vodu). Hostitel nám také zajistil Jeep na Safari a zapůjčení skútru. Jelikož to bylo do města dále a v blízkosti nejsou restaurace hostitel se také nabídl, že nám uvaří večeři, která byla výborná.

Hodila by se polička do sprchy a k umyvadlu.

The apartment is located in a very peaceful and beautiful area, just a few minutes’ walk from the Dambulla Cave Temple. Nuwan was very kind and always ready to offer helpful advice. They assist with organizing transportation, tours of the Eco Park and elephants, and his mother prepares delicious dinners. They also help with ordering food from local restaurants, and are truly willing to assist and give advice with absolutely everything.

Spacious and clean, very close to the temple. The hosts were polite and hospitable. They served us delicious breakfast.

Sink wasn't working properly but there was another one and it didn't bother us

Located not in center city. Dark at night but few steps you can reach the main road

We stayed for 2 nights and it was great. The house is walking distance from the temple caves on a quiet road, but still cheap to get to town in a Tuk Tuk. The host family were above and beyond helpful. Room spotlessly clean. Nawab gave us a lift to a restaurant in town where we had the best meal in Sri Lanka. Restaurant Sandamadala, crab and seafood rice portions, big enough to share. Breakfast at the home stay was also very good. Nawan’s father drove us to Sigiria and a spice farm. A monkey or dog chewed my husband’s sandals which were left outside in the night and by the time we realised they had gone, Nawan had got them repaired at the tailors!

Room is very affordable but spacious and clean. Personel is super nice, breakfast very tasty. Monkeys just outside the windows. Air conditioning works perfectly.

Pressure in the bathroom sink is weak. There could be some closet or clothes rack installed in the room.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at this place with my boyfriend. The accommodation was fantastic – very clean and conveniently located close to the temple, making it a perfect spot for exploring the area.🌏 The owner was exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. He assisted us in renting a tuk-tuk and even helped us get it running again when it broke down. His kindness and willingness to help made a huge difference.🥰 The breakfasts were another highlight – hearty, delicious, and the perfect way to start the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.😊

Amazing place to stay in Dambulla. Nuwan, our host, and gisy family were really nice and helpful. The location was great, the place really clean and the breakfast was absolutely great!!Try also Nuwan's mother dinner, she is the best cook ever! Thanks!

The hotel was very clean and the food was very delicious. The host is super nice and gave us many options for different activities. He made the stay super welcoming and helped us plan the days.

Clean bed and spacious room. The food was amazing and the host and his family were friendly and generous. The area was quiet but it was easy enough to get into Dambula town; the home stay was also very close to the cave temple and rock, an easy 15 minute walk.

My husband and I felt very comfortable in this house. Very nice hosts, tasty breakfasts and dinners, convenient location very close to the Buddha’s cave temple and archaeological sites. It’s nice to watch the monkeys and birds from the terrace with a cup of tea.

The big, modern room was the best we had in Sri Lanka for the price. New and quite AC. Host Nuwan was super friendly and helpful. They offer delicious dinner and the balcony is perfect to eat the meals. Calm location close to the cave temple. In

Great located homestay, in a quiet street and only short walking distance to the popular cave temple. The room is very spacious and clean. It is family owend (the family is living downstairs) and you can enjoy the nice family atmosphere and feel home, away from home. The host and his family are extremely friendly and always very engaged to fulfill every wish and make your stay unique. They have shown me many nice places in the area and I enjoyed great home-cooked food. I felt so well there, that I even decided to stay longer than planned before. I will highly recommend this place!

Such a warm welcome and great value for money. They helped organise trips for me, and dropped me at the bus stop at the end of my stay. It was also new year when I visited so all the restaurants were closed so I was really grateful that they offered dinner every night - with that and the breakfast included in the morning I was full all day! The location is a little out of the main bit of Dambulla but it didn’t bother me and I’m sure they would help you get to places.

Nothing really. It’s relatively basic but great value and clean so I can’t fault that. The hospitality is second to none.

Place is very nice located, near the entrance to temples in a calm area of Dambulla. Host is very kind, he advised us on great rock we could climb nearby (the view on sunset was spectacular), restaurant and organized tuk tuk to Singiriya. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was big and nice. I could definitely recommend this place to stay!

It was our best home stay in Sri Lanka. The owner is very nice, very helpful. Room was clean, modern. There was also kettle and cups for making coffee and tea. The breakfasf was perfect, delicios and big. We cab definigly recommend this home stay!

Nothing, evedything was perfect

I highly recommend this guesthouse!!! not far from the cellars (on foot) and the center. The room is really very large with a beautiful terrace. Nuwan will welcome you warmly 😊 plus the kettle with tea!

The host is the nicest person! He really tried his best to make our stay very pleasant and comfortable. He asked what we wanted for breakfast and when I asked for some pancakes he really cooked them. The room is nice and the price is more than reasonable. Thanks!
