The view was to the old building getting renovated, but I guess, that depends in which unit you are staying.

Reviewed Jul 5, 2026La Residenza Du Lac è un vero e proprio angolo di paradiso. Svegliarsi la mattina e godersi la colazione con una vista così spettacolare sul lago non ha prezzo. La struttura è elegante, curata nei minimi dettagli e immersa in un'atmosfera di totale pace e relax. La nostra camera era spaziosa, pulitissima e dotata di ogni comfort. Un encomio speciale allo staff, che ci ha accolti con un calore e una professionalità rari. Non vediamo l'ora di tornare!

Direkter Seezugang fehlt - aber öffentlicher Zugang nicht weit entfernt. Distanz zu ÖV-Haltestellen etwas weit.

The bathroom trash bin from the previous guests was not emptied before our stay, cleanliness being one of our most important criteria; this made us uncomfortable and broke the illusion of the place.

Reviewed Jun 17, 2026⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wir verbrachten eine Nacht in der Residenza Du Lac in Paradiso und waren rundum zufrieden. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und auch unserem Hund gegenüber sehr herzlich. Besonders aufmerksam fanden wir, dass im Apartment bereits eine Hundedecke sowie einige Hundeleckerlis bereitlagen. Die Leckerlis waren zwar eher für kleinere Hunde geeignet als für unseren Ridgeback, dennoch haben wir uns sehr über diese nette Geste gefreut. Das Apartment war großzügig geschnitten, sehr sauber und dank der Klimaanlage auch an warmen Tagen angenehm kühl. Die Küche war hervorragend ausgestattet und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Besonders positiv überrascht hat uns der Kühlschrank, der bereits mit kostenlosen Getränken gefüllt war. Zusätzlich standen kleine Snacks und frisches Obst zur Verfügung – eine sehr schöne und großzügige Aufmerksamkeit. Auch das Bett war äußerst bequem und insgesamt war im Apartment alles vorhanden, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Das Frühstück konnten wir in dem dazugehörigen Café einnehmen. Besonders schön war dabei der herrliche Blick auf den Luganersee, der den Start in den Tag noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Aktuell finden rund um das Gebäude Bauarbeiten statt, sodass zeitweise etwas Baulärm zu hören ist. Auch der Ausblick vom Apartment ist derzeit eher von den Baustellen geprägt. Uns persönlich hat das jedoch überhaupt nicht gestört, da wir tagsüber überwiegend in Lugano unterwegs waren und lediglich eine kurze Mittagspause im Apartment verbracht haben. Die Lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Von Paradiso aus kann man direkt entlang der wunderschönen Seepromenade bis in die Altstadt von Lugano spazieren. Dieser Weg am See entlang ist besonders schön und hat unseren Aufenthalt zusätzlich bereichert. Insgesamt eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft mit aufmerksamem Service, guter Ausstattung und einer hervorragenden Lage – auch für Reisende mit Hund.

Hard to understand the washer/dryer combo as instructions are in German. We did get help from hotel staff and YouTube on how to use.

Reviewed May 5, 2026Super Lage direkt am See, fußläufig ca. 20 Minuten in die "City". Von unserem Zimmer ein toller seitlicher Blick auf den See. Schön große Wohnung mit guter, neuer Ausstattung. Gratis Getränke und Snacks auf dem Zimmer. Das Personal super freundlich!
Die Auswahl beim Frühstück hätte größer sein können. Das was es gab, hatte aber Topqualität! Ein Hocker zum Füße hochlegen im Wohnzimmer und Wolldecken wären eine super Ergänzung. Die Lage ist zwar direkt am See, aber auch direkt an einer Straße, teilweise war der Verkehr recht laut. Vielleichr Ohrstöpsel bereit legen.

Reviewed May 4, 2026Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und man wird sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Sicht auf den See ist wahnsinnig toll und auch der Einrichtungsstand. Unser Hund wurde auch sehr herzlich empfangen, mit Leckerlis und eigenem Bettchen. Das haben wir wahnsinnig geschätzt! Insgesamt eine schöne und tolle Unterkunft!
Leider war das Frühstück nicht so überzeugend, das Essen wird nicht so schön präsentiert, nicht sehr viel Auswahl und keine pflanzlichen Joghurtvarianten / glutenfreies Brot.

the place provides the impression that you are in a building on the lake. you are actually not. you are in building behind which main purpose is a elderly home and thats how the rooms are set up. even the number M.301 on a big door like in hospitals. We were shocked actually what we go compared to the website photos.
