Le petit dejeuner est tres bon également et Raja est très gentil :) il fait de son mieux pour que l’on soit bien et nous le remercions beaucoup pour ca :) C’est un logement simple avec le necessaire pour se sentir bien :).

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026Si vous voulez vivre proche de la plage, dans un logement local, de manière locale, c’est the place to be ! C’est très proche de la plage, à peine 200m. Ce n’est pas cher pour y avoir passé 4 nuits ! La famille Raja est très gentille et le petit déjeuner étant sympa.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026I had a wonderful stay at Raja Guesthouse and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nilaveli. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable, making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Every morning I enjoyed a delicious traditional Sri Lankan breakfast with tea. One thing I especially appreciated was their kindness on my last day. My bus was leaving at 10:30 PM, and since they didn't have any new guests arriving that day, they generously allowed me to stay in my room until it was time to leave. I was very grateful for their thoughtfulness and flexibility. The location is perfect—just a one-minute walk to the beautiful Nilaveli Beach, yet very peaceful and quiet. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. I would happily stay here again!

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026Nos ha encantado alojarnos aquí. La habitación es simple pero tiene todo lo necesario, además está muy limpia. La ubicación inmejorable, a un paso de la playa. El desayuno muy bueno. Raja, el dueño, ha sido muy amable y nos ha ayudado en todo lo que ha podido.
No hay Wifi, aunque para nosotras no ha supuesto ningún problema porque la recepción de datos es muy buena en la zona.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2025Skromné, ale velmi příjemné ubytování na velmi dobře situovaném místě kousek od pláže. Pan majitel velice ochotný a nápomocný, moc děkujeme. Klidné místo, přes ulici dobrá restaurace. V pokoji větráky a moskytiéry, bylo možné spát s otevřeným oknem.

Reviewed Jul 29, 2025La casa è attaccata alla spiaggia pubblica, consigliatissima per ridere e saltare con i local tra le onde del mare e non chiudersi nei resort occidentali che sanno solo di noia e crema solare. La casa è perfetta per chi vuole una sistemazione semplice ma dignitosa. Il proprietario parla poco inglese ma c’è suo figlio che può aiutare a tradurre.

The owner was exceptionally kind and thoughtful – every morning, he brought fresh breakfast and hot tea without being asked. The location was also perfect: just a few steps away from a beautiful beach. I highly recommend this place to anyone who values warm hospitality and an ideal setting.
