Suman Beach Rooms

Wir hatten das nichtklimatisierte Zimmer und relativ warmes Wetter. Der Ventilator war ausreichend stark, um schlafen zu können und wenn das Fenster ein Stück offen bleibt, kühlt das Zimmer bis zum Morgen auch aus. Probleme mit Mosquitos haben wir praktisch nicht (d.h. es gab nur wenige einzelne). Uns hat gefallen, dass srilankisches Frühstück angeboten wird und man nicht auf die Kulturlosigkeit des Continental Breakfast festgelegt ist. Allerdings wurde das Frühstück am vierten Morgen langsam eintönig, es gab aber immer viel Obst dazu. Das Bett war ok, es gab keine Badartikel und Warmwasser (nicht dramatisch, aber sollte man vorher wissen). Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren auch nicht übertrieben hellhörig, wir haben von der Familie mit zwei kleinen lauten Kindern nebenan jedenfalls nicht allzu viel mitbekommen. Es gibt eine Wäscheleine und einen eigenen Terrassenabschnitt.

Man muss wissen, dass Samstags und Sonntags abends am Strand der Partybus hält und das ganze Dorf ab 18 Uhr von derartigen Bässen vollgepumpt wird, dass man Angst um seinen Schlaf bekommt. Allerdings ist das nach 1-2 Stunden vorbei und somit verträglich. WLAN könnte stabiler sein.

Alloggio semplice, ma molto pulito. Molto vicino alla spiaggia di Nilaveli da cui partono le escursioni per Pidgeon Island. Lavanderia a buon prezzo. A fianco c'è un buon ristorante familiare. La padrona di casa ci ha organizzato un tuk tuk per andare a Troncomalee.

Posizione comodissima alla spiaggia e a ristoranti. La famiglia che gestisce è molto gentile. Stanza molto semplice.

C’è solo acqua fredda per la doccia e non hanno phone disponibili da utilizzare.

Heerlijke locatie: super dicht bij het strand en toch heel rustig gelegen. De mensen zijn ontzettend lief en staan altijd voor je klaar. Het ontbijt is lekker, de kamer is mooi én heeft een fijne airconditioning. Daarnaast zitten er gezellige eetgelegenheden om de hoek, kun je er gemakkelijk je was laten doen en regelen ze met plezier excursies voor je. Kortom, een fantastisch verblijf!

Clean bed and bathroom. Outside of the room, there ar table and greenery for feeling nature.. Family is there from morning till late night for ur requeats. Close to beach, close to small shop for snacks.

Top Lage, ehr kurzer Weg zum Strand und Booten fü Ausflüge, Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist groß, mit Aufenthaltsbereichen innen und außen sowie Klimaanlage. Trinkwasser wird gegen Entgelt bereitgestellt, Frühstück wird angeboten. Besonders angenehm: wir durften unser Gepäck nach dem Check‑out noch dort lassen.

Zimmer und Bad waren sauber, wenn auch nicht ganz makellos. Allerdings fehlten im Bad praktische Dinge wie Bodenwischer, Harken, Mülleimer und ausreichend Toilettenpapier. Das Frühstück war sehr einfach gehalten (Spiegelei, Toast, Margarine, Marmelade, etwas Obst, Tee) und könnte abwechslungsreicher sein. Das WIFI funktionierte, hatte jedoch nur geringe Bandbreite. Die Betten sind teilweise schmal und kurz, die Matratzen eher hart oder schon etwas durchgelegen. Die Küche ist vorhanden, aber nur sehr einfach ausgestattet.

Schöne kleine Unterkunft in der Nähe des Strandes. Die Hosts sind sehr herzlich und freundlich. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen

Prendre le temps à votre arrivée avant de choisir les excursions. Les propriétaires font venir une personne de la plage qui propose des sorties et mauvaise surprise, elles deux à trois fois moins chères quand vous croiser les autres agences sur la plage.

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely guest house during my solo trip to Trincomalee. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and equipped with excellent air conditioning, making it a great place to relax after a day at the beach. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared every morning. A special thank you to Mrs. Malika, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout my stay. She made me feel at home and was always happy to help with anything I needed. The guest house is located in a quiet, peaceful area, yet it's only a short walk to the beautiful beach, which made the location ideal. Très bon emplacement à proximité immédiate de la plage. Suman est très gentille et nous a préparé un délicieux petit déjeuner. Logement très grand avec 2 chambres avec climatisation et un salon. Possibilité de laundry. Serviettes de toilette très propres et bien présentées.

Super personnel ! Propose absolument tout (petit déjeuner, laverie,activités,...). En parlant des activités, ne réservait pas en avance, ils vous proposeront tout, mais en moins cher.

Ils y avaient quelques bêtes qui pouvaient rentrer dans la chambre (mais rien de méchant), quelques libellules ou fourmis, mais c'est la nature !

Enkel koud water uit de douche, maar we hebben al gemerkt dat dit in Sri Lanka precies de standaard is.

We stayed here for four nights and had a wonderful experience. The family who runs this place is incredibly kind and made us feel at home from the very beginning. They were always happy to help and gave us great recommendations, including the beautiful Tamil temples in Nilaveli and Trincomalee. The location is perfect, just a 3-minute walk from Nilaveli Beach, and they also arranged a scooter rental for us. The room was comfortable and perfect for a few days’ stay—we didn’t spend much time there because we were out exploring all day. Breakfast was delicious, with papaya, toast, eggs and bananas, and they even offered us tea in the afternoon. Their three cats are adorable too! One of the highlights of our stay was when they invited us to their traditional seafood food stall in Nilaveli on Saturday, the busiest day of the week. They let us try some of the local food and invited us to sit with everyone there. It was such a kind and thoughtful gesture that made us feel like part of the community. The warmth and hospitality of this family really made our stay special. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nilaveli.

The location is perfect. 3 minutes walk to Nilaveli beach, the most beautiful beach of Sri Lanka, The room is a good size and the hosts are great. Directly at the beach there is a great beach restaurant Mimico, with some beach beds that you can use to get the best beach experience. Don't forgot to to visit them when you stay in Suman Beach Rooms. Also great is that at the accommodation you can buy bottles of water, so you don't have to carry these when you do your shopping. In 15 minutes walk there is a supermarket. If you think of going to the Trincomalee area and you like the beach, this is the perfect and affordable accommodation. To visit the centre of Trincomalee, it is easy to get a Tuktuk.

The wifi was not so stable.

The owner was very friendly and kind. The provided welcome drinks. They also provided great breakfast and tea. Bathroom is very clean. Room is very spacious.

Sehr liebevolle Gastgeber die sich um alles kümmern. Wir haben es sehr genossen.

Wir hatten nette zwei Nächte in dieser Unterkunft. Es gab eine gut funktionierende AC und einen Ventilator. Wir hatten ein paar Mücken im Zimmer, aber dafür eben auch ein Fliegennetz. Die Unterkunft liegt nur 2 Minuten vom schönen Strand entfernt. Die Gastgeber waren total aufmerksam und lieb. Es gab morgens und abends Tee aufs Haus. Unser Highlight war die verspielte Babykatze.

Das Zimmer hat zu Beginn etwas unangenehm gerochen und es gab einige Mücken im Zimmer und Bad. Ansonsten waren wir zufrieden.

L’accueil de notre hôte avec une bonne boisson rafraîchissante. L’emplacement est top, la maison est trop cool ! Poules, chats on adore ! La chambre est très propre et climatisé ! Encore merci pour le chek out plus tard qui nous aura permis de prendre une douche après notre cession de snorkeling. Et merci d’avoir réservé pour nous le snorkeling à pigeon Island.

Nous avons passé 4 nuits à Nilaveli et ce fut un super moment. Suman et sa femme sont des hôtes très agréables et disponibles. Nous avons eu des conversations très intéressantes avec elle. Le logement familial est grand et propre avec climatisation fonctionnelle et une terrasse couverte. À deux pas de la plage. Petit déj copieux. Resto disponible la porte d'à côté. Merci pour la lessive et le late check-out qui nous a permis de profiter de la plage jusqu'au bout.

Suman beach rooms has an excellent location, just a short walk to Nilaveli beach which was a highlight of our trip. Malika was a good host and offered to arrange activities and tuktuks for us however we already had these booked. Overall we would still recommend staying here for the value and proximity to the beach.

The room was okay and we felt the bathroom was poorly ventilated. The beds didn’t have fitted sheets so they would slide off in the night. We also thought the breakfast as okay compared to some of the others we’d had at Sri Lankan homestays. Unfortunately, a lot of the times we needed advice Malika was out and when we tried to ask the family some questions they couldn’t help us even with translate.

Suman guest house is the perfect place to stay in Nilaveli, the location and facilities are very comfortable and convenient, and above all the owners are very kind and can arrange anything you need for a comfortable stay. They helped us arrange activities and day trips, and always recommend the best options. I highly recommend the homestays Sri Lankan breakfast, it is delicious! El lloc és net ,els llits molt còmodes i l'habitació espaioses.Es troba al carrer principal però lluny del sorolls i 200 metres de la platja principal de Nilavel.La família que e ports es agradable i t'aconsegueix tuk tuk a un preu un pel més econòmic. L'esmorzar, si es demana, es correcte et dona un parell d'opcions

Per les.fotografies semblava que es polia fer us de cuina i saleta però en cap.moment.ens van indicar la ubicació d'aquest lloc. Vam fer la bugada allà i la roba es va descolorir , ens va fer una petita.rebaixa en preu però ens ho va cobrar. Trobo que es un allotjament més per parelles que per famílies.

Except for the beautiful beach and snorkeling trips, there is literally nothing to do in Nilaveli.

We really enjoyed staying here! The room was very basic, but considering the price it was more than okay. The family was super friendly and we felt welcome all the time. The location is amazing, as it is only a few minutes to the beach. Also the breakfast was really tasty and filling. Thank you so much! We can absolutely recommend staying here!

La Guesthouse se situe vraiment à côté de la plage des locaux avec une ambiance unique. L’emplacement est vraiment idéal pour profiter de toute la grande plage de Nilaveli. Les hôtes sont d’une gentillesse et d’un accueil exceptionnel. La maison est confortable avec tout le nécessaire. Les petits déjeuners sont aussi très bien et le restaurant familial à côté est très bon. Si vous recherchez une adresse authentique, je vous conseille vraiment de dormir quelques nuits ici.

L'emplacement du logement à 5 min à pied de la superbe plage de Nilaveli, plusieurs restaurants à proximité et surtout l'hospitalité et la disponibilité des hôtes toujours prêts à nous rendre service. Ils nous ont donné beaucoup de conseils, nous ont trouvé des chauffeurs au meilleur prix, ont lavé notre linge à un prix très raisonnable. Un remerciement tout particulier à Malika qui a été adorable avec nous. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement.

Rien mis à part que les chambres avec air conditionné sont plus appréciables que celles avec ventilateur seul.

Perfecte locatie je staat zo op het strand, hele lieve eigenaren, lekker ontbijt, kamers zijn zeer hygiënisch en ruim. Er wordt door de eigenaren veel zorg besteed aan de accommodatie en het gehele terrein. Ik raad dit zeker aan!
