We had a wonderful stay at Nauna villa. Just 30min from the crowded Ubud this is the perfect place to rest and find some peace. Everything is clean and the pool is very nice. Gede and the rest of the staff is super friendly and they made sure we had everything to have a nice stay. They even gave some fresh fruits from the garden, which were very good. Breakfast was really nice as well. Overall good experience and we would definately recommend this place!

Wat een lieve mensen die werkelijk alles doen om de beste service te verlenen. Toen ik vroeg waar ik bananen kon halen die ik mee wilde nemen voor onderweg, was de eigenaar al op zijn scooter gesprongen om ze zelf te halen. De accommodatie is heel goed verzorgd en er wordt dagelijks schoongemaakt. Ontbijt is prima, keuze uit lokaal of westers. Ruime hoeveelheid! De tuin en het zwembad zijn mooi onderhouden en heerlijk rustig. Locatie is mooi en comfortabel, heerlijke bedden met goede matrassen, goede klamboe en veel ruimte.

Je zit wel echt ver van de bewoonde wereld. Wel een supermarktje op redelijke loopafstand, maar dan wel lopen langs een drukke weg. Avondeten was niet beschikbaar toen wij er waren en Grab vindt de locatie ook lastig te vinden dus beste is een taxi bestellen om ergens verderop wat te gaan eten. Grab werkt voor de taxi wel het beste. Bij het zwembad staan maar 2 bedjes dus als je met het hele gezin even wil relaxen wordt het wat lastig liggen. Er loopt langs de homestay best een drukke weg dus je hoort wel wat scooters rijden continu.

Le séjour a Nauna Villa a été irréprochable. Pak Gede et sa famille s'investissent avec le coeur, et sont toujours prêts à rendre service. J'ai beaucoup aimé leur belle présence, et discuté avec eux. Le lieu respire la paix, le repos, le bonheur simple et heureux. Le jardin luxuriant offre lui aussi son abondance, avec des noix de coco et fruits de la passion incroyablement savoureux. Les bungalows sont très authentiques, comme j'aime, avec moustiquaire et fan comme au bon vieux temps...et ça fonctionne tellement bien ainsi ! (AC disponible également). La piscine permet de belles baignades, la vue sur les rizières est très apaisante. Le petit déjeuner est excellent (avec ce si bon café de Bali). Je me suis sentie chanceuse chaque matin en me réveillant ici. Qui plus est, le lieu n'est qu'à 20 min de route d'Ubud. Les taxis Gojek arrivent en 3 min. C'est hyper pratique ! Merci à Pak Gede et toute sa famille. Je ne peux que souhaiter la prospérité à ce lieu si empli de beaux esprits.

友達が家で結婚式をするのに参列するため近かったこちらに宿泊しました。 とにかくスタッフの方がとても親切でした。 朝ごはんのフルーツも庭で採れたフルーツを足してくれて食べきれないくらいにお腹いっぱいになりました。 周りに特に何もないため静かでカエルや虫の音で癒されながら夜は寝れました。庭はとても綺麗にされており、周りの田んぼもとても癒しになりました。

トイレとシャワールームのカーテンがもう少し隠せる物だと良かったと思いました。外から見えてるのでは、、、と思い少し気を使いました。

This is a great place to relax and unwind. Pak Gede is very friendly and so helpful that we felt like part of the family. For some people it could be a bit remote, but that's what we liked about it. Breakfast is very good, and there's a nice little restaurant just across the road (KedaeRaden) that sells good food for local prices. Initially we booked for 7 nights and liked it so much we added 4 more. We would definitely recommend if you are looking to get away from the crowds.

Le personnel est aux petits soins, le jardin est incroyablement beau, les chambres sont joliment décorées et la literie de la villa de 2 chambres est très confortable.

L’hôtel est situé à quelques kilomètres d’Ubud mais en taxi cela peut prendre entre 40 et … 90 minutes! cependant c’était agréable de s’extirper du tumulte de Ubud pour la nuit.

L’accueil est extraordinaire. Le site est magnifique avec un jardin et un décor incroyable, le tout au calme au milieu des rizières. Un moment très apprécié de « zénitude ». Les logements sont soignés et très confortables aménagés avec goût. Le petit déjeuner est très sympa avec jus et fruits frais cueillis dans le jardin ! Petit plus : il est possible de dîner sur place ce qui est très appréciable après une journée de visite !

De villa waar we in verbleven was prachtig en het zwembad schoon. De eigenaar van de villa heeft ons net van alles en nog wat geholpen. Hij was heel lief, heeft ons op de avond dat zijn restaurant gesloten was, zelf naar een ander restaurant gebracht. We hebben meerdere keren in zijn restaurant gegeten, lekker eten. Net zoals alles in de villa wordt alles met liefde gedaan. Het terrein, de kamers, de villa, het zwembad en alle gebouwen zijn goed onderhouden. De omgeving is prachtig, je kunt zelfs douchen met uitzicht op de rijstvelden. Wij komen zeker terug als we weer in de buurt zijn.

I love if the shower have bathtub and window to the paddy field. Its just the place if far from Ubud, and Kuta hence its not ideal for me to go back and forth to Ubud.

As always we are made to feel right at home. The surroundings are lush and tranquil. Everything is beautiful and the staff are amazing 😍

Our stay at Nauna Villa Bali was nothing short of spectacular. Nestled in the serene countryside of Ubud, this villa offers a perfect blend of traditional Balinese architecture (i.e. no brick wall = no soundproof) and modern amenities. The lush greenery surrounding the villa creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, making it an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The villa itself (2 storey villa with one bedroom/ensuite on each floor) is beautifully designed, with spacious living areas. The balcony with the view Mount Agung on the second floor and the private pool add a touch of luxury to the experience. The staff at Nauna Villa are incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring that every need is met with a smile. We had no issue with hot water, mosquitoes, etc... (despite the rainy season). Exploring the local area was a delight, and returning to the comfort of Nauna Villa each evening was the perfect way to end the day. Overall, Nauna Villa Bali is a hidden gem that offers a perfect blend of comfort and cultural immersion. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and rejuvenating getaway in Bali.

As mentioned earlier, this villa is nestled in the secluded countryside of Ubud. There are no restaurants or convenience stores within walking distance, so if you prefer dining out at night, be sure to plan ahead or order through Grab. The onsite restaurant, Tebu, offers excellent meals but closes fairly early. Additionally, the villa does not have any facilities for reheating or cooking food. That said, everything else about our stay was absolutely wonderful!

The owner is very friendly. He offered us an upgrade, so we stayed in a private cottage with our own pool. The place is nice and quiet. A beautiful garden made us enjoyable.

It's a little inconvenient, the closest market is 15 minutes away by walking. One night we ordered spaghetti for dinner. We found out that the cooking skill needs to be improved.

I chose this place for it location (close to my Dr) so it is remote. It is surrounded with rice paddy fields, of which I was so apprehensive of, but it is magical at night and day. I came prepared with coils and spray but no issues with mosquitoes ☺️ The bungalow was gorgeous, landscaping, pool and flora or severe type..perfect. A living nursery, has restaurant on site and download Gojek app drivers always nearby and cheap!!!

Language a little difficult - but fabulous staff. If you want dinner tell them as very quiet and closed early my first night. They are working paddy fields but still fascinating to watch.

The staff are very accommodating. They tried to meet our requests as much as possible. From adapters to floating breakfast, they were very honest and would exhaust efforts before declining. The beds are very comfortable and we slept really well. The luscious greens around the villas made a huge impact on promoting relaxation and calmness. I love that there are two swimming pools that are well maintained and exclusive for us to use. Breakfast was of ample amount and freshly cooked. It was also served on time we requested.

Some parts of the villas need to be restored and ants are found crawling on the floors or wooden walls. I think this is common since the location is in the middle of the rice fields.

The water heater was very weak; it was impossible to take a shower even for one person—the hot water ran out in ~3 minutes. The walls of the houses are very thin; all the rice field nightlife will make a concert just behind your window. After a few nights, you start adapting and enjoy it, but you must be prepared. What is not good is that the walls between houses are the same thickness, and you can hear each movement of your neighbors.

This villa is not in the Ubud center but strategically located to avoid the heavy traffic in Ubud. Breakfast was enjoyable since we can choose from the different choices that they offer and we were able to request for early service since there were times that we would leave very early in the morning. We stayed for 5 nights and celebrated the birthday and anniversary of our friends and owner was so generous to give two cakes as presents. He even set-up the karaoke for us to celebrate with much singing and dancing. The private pool was a big plus of course. We were so surprised that the water was lukewarm which was indeed perfect for night swimming. This villa is highly recommended!

Host Gede and driver Kadek are two amazing and kind-hearted people. We received a very warm welcome both during the drive and at Nauna villa. Nauna villa is a quiet place between the rice fields away from the hussle and bussle of Ubud centre, which we liked a lot. Ubud centre is pretty busy so we liked it a lot to rent a scooter at Nauna, visit the tourist sights and return to the peace at Nauna. Gede was a wonderful host, always ready to help, give tips or recommendations. The place is super clean as well, all around the property. 10/10 would recommend Nauna villa.

The garden and pools are beautiful. Gede and Kadek were excellent hosts and extremely helpful. We enjoyed the tranquility of Nauna Villa and were able to tour around Ubud and the surrounding area each day. They recommended great local restaurants and helped us get there. We sampled some of Kadek’s cooking and this place will be even more perfect when the restaurant opens in a couple of months. The beds were extremely comfortable.

Pak Gede (the host) is really accommodating and helpful.

I loved the location of the Villa: at the heart of Ubud, surrounded by rice fields. Gede is polite, friendly and helpful and made sure our stay was comfortable. The rooms are beautiful: decorative wooden structure and comfortable and cosy inside. The bathrooms are clean and functional. The outdoor pool and seating are is perfect for lounging in evening and watching the sunset. All in all, this was the perfect stay for me and my family. Will definitely stay here for a longer duration next time. Thank you, Gede!

The picturesque & romantic! This was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed in Bli. The staff were nice, kind, and respectful. The place was full of beautiful flowers and plants. The rooms were idyllically gorgeous with amazing woodwork. If you want to have a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place for you. We had rented the villa with private pool, it was a charming two-story bungalow, with a spacious wrap-around deck. The beds provided were exceptionally cozy with good mattresses. The internet connection was reliable. It truly offered exceptional value, providing a tranquil and comfortable retreat. The villa surpassed our expectations, proving to be truly exceptional. The family who graciously own it welcomed us with warmth and kindness. The lush gardens captivated us, and waking up to the enchanting vista of the rice fields each morning felt truly magical. A little away from hustle and bustle of the city. We had booked the villa for only 2 days initially but extended an extra day as we liked it very much.

Nice quiet surroundings, in the middle of rice fields. The place full of beautiful plants feels like part of nature and is very relaxing. The pool is nice for a refreshing dip. The Joglo nr 5 in front of property is beautiful and felt like a home for the time being there. The staff kindly surprised me with beautiful flowers on my birthday, they are very friendly and always in for a talk or help, when needed.

None, Some advice for visitors, Gojek is best available at the Indomaret, only 5 min walk. However asking owners for taxi also a possibility. Grab is available for delivery of food.

The villa was exceptional, and more than we imagined. The family who own it are so lovely and welcoming. I'm in love with all the gardens and to wake up each morning to the view of the rice fields was magical. It's about a 20 minute drive into town, which wasn't a problem. This is such a beautiful hidden gem and so affordable considering you are literally in paradise. My room had so much character and comfort - the bed was great, lot's of room etc. Yes it is a little out of Ubud but you plan accordingly, have your breakfast on your balcony and head out for your activities for the day. Come back in the evening and have a refreshing dip in the pool. To me the insect and bird chorus outside at night is heavenly and this place really delivers in that regard!! Highly recommend this place!

I spent an unusually long amount of time in the pool as I had it all to myself and took a shower after. I was horrified to find that my blonde hair had turned aqua green. I'm not sure if it was the chlorine or there is copper in the water in the shower but blondes - watch out and protect your hair. Also if other guests are around you will definitely hear them talking if they are lounging by the pool. My neighbours were out there in the late evening so that annoyed me a bit though others may not be so fussy about noise as I am. Thankfully there are only a few suites so not too much to disturb the peace.

It was a different world inside the villa

We had rented a villa which was a two-story bungalow with a wrap around deck. The beds were really comfortable and the mattresses were of high quality. A/C worked well. Internet was good. We also had a personal pool. Such a fantastic value and a quiet and comfortable stay. The owner also let us stay an hour after check out.

It is quite far from the action in Ubud, roughly a 30-40 minute drive. There are rice fields beyond the property and unfortunately, they were burning trash. The first night was awful as the air quality was really bad.

Picturesque location, quiet place among rice fields, nicely decorated with lots of lovely plants and flowers. The traditional wooden house is very well maintained and offers full comfort. Hearty delicious breakfast was served at our house.

This villa is very close to nature. there were small birds and the garden is so pleasant. it's so quiet and at night you can hear insects chirping. The owner is helpful. The breakfast is delicious. The pool is clean and nice.

There were burning hays from the paddy fields and it was so hazy and air quality is not good. I think because of that burning, at night there were a lot of insects. we had sore throat next day due to the haze. The water in our room was smelly and the owner checked and fixed the problems promptly. He let us use the other shower room while fixing.

We loved so many things about this property. This was our fourth trip to Bali and each time we have tried different properties, so we can compare. What we really liked about this one: the bed was exceptionally comfortable! The Villa has a lot of charm - it is spacious and private with a large shaded terrace. The property is small - only maybe 8 villas? and family run, so there’s a lot of personal attention and not a lot of hype going on. The family is wonderful, very helpful in securing drivers, warm and welcoming, and eager to please. I really liked the pool- it’s not big enough to do laps in but plenty big enough to swim a few strokes . The garden and landscaping is gorgeous and attracts a lot of birds and butterflies. We loved waking up and going to bed to so much Birdsong.

We enjoyed being out in the countryside, surrounded by rice fields and trees, but some people might not like being a half an hour drive out of Ubud. We really enjoyed the Tranquilli, however.. and it was easy to get a driver when we wanted to go into town and not expensive.

Area in which the villa is is beautiful, a little far away from the busy areas such as Ubud, but being in amongst the rice paddocks was beautiful.

- you can hear everything from the adjacent room (the building was divided into 2 separate accomodations, however, the owner told me that he wants to combine them into one big accomodation for families) - the restaurant is currently closed for approximately 6 more months due to renovation, but the owner drove us to a beautiful restaurant of a friend - it is hard to walk to restaurants etc as the accomodation is a bit on the countryside (but that makes it very quiet and beautiful)

This place is amazing!!! The villas and the staff are just great, this place is unbelievably good value for money. The hotel is beautifully done, the villas are big and very nicely done up, with good air con and large and well equipped bathroom. Pool area is lovely, the planting is beautiful. Better than the photos even. They gave us a tour of their beautiful orchids and tropical plants which made our morning. The best bit is the owners & staff, who are lovely and helpful. They even helped us out at 2am when we arrived in an airport taxi without any cash. Breakfast was good and good value.

The host was great and the place was lovely. I liked the way all the trees and creepers are grown around the property. It gave a really good feel of living between the nature. The location of this property is very good as it is easily accessible to places in south bali as well as ubud. Although its located in the busy area, the property itself is very quiet. We loved staying at this property.

Outside of Ubud so much quieter for relaxation, private pool was lovely, staff were so helpful & kind.

We enjoyed our stay at this seemingly family-run hotel. The private pool in our rented villa offered a truly delightful experience - a personal paradise to enjoy! It had a standout was the breakfast - particularly the egg noodles were notable. The staff was helpful with finding the Grabs who occasionally missed the driveway, ensuring a smooth transportation process.

While we appreciated many aspects of our stay, there were a few drawbacks. The bathrooms, while well equipped, were somewhat rudimentary and we encountered a few bugs. We also had to be vigilant about not leaving food out to avoid attracting ants. Communicating through WhatsApp for breakfast orders was hit-or-miss, though calling directly proved more effective. Note that it's advisable to have cash on hand for hotel-arranged transportation. Despite these issues, we managed to have an enjoyable stay!

From the moment we arrived, the exceptional hospitality of the staff and owners made our stay exceptional. The owners went out of their way to make us feel at home, even treating us to some delicious traditional Indonesian cuisine and delicious fruits, allowing us to savor the flavors of the region. This personal touch truly added to the authenticity of our stay. The atmosphere at the hotel was simply awesome. Surrounded by a perfectly maintained garden, it was a tranquil oasis with a relaxing vibe. We found ourselves unwinding in this serene environment, far away from the hustle and bustle of crowded tourist spots. It's the perfect choice for anyone seeking a quiet retreat in the middle of beautiful rice fields, with exceptional staff, delicious food, and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Wonderful people working there, super nice, welcoming and helpful. Great breakfast and service. We felt like princesses ! The place is beautiful, probably the most beautiful place we stayed in Bali. We stayed at the private villa and had our private pool. This place looks like a dream from the entrance with all the plants and the pool to the private villa!

The villa is not in ubud but few km away from the center. You will need a scooter or a car to go to Ubud, and the traffic can be quite bad to enter Ubud. Also if you are a light sleeper, bring some earplugs. The villa is located in the middle of a field, and it can get very very noisy at nights with all the animal noises (charming too!) Also one day was very noisy during the day due to harvesting + during the night with people singing in a megaphone in the temple near by (it has nothing to do with the staff and to be honest they didn’t even know that would be happening, but it woke us up at 11pm , 4am and 6am! Not sure if it happens a lot, but figured I would mention it)

Amazing place, amazing people!

The staff were warm and welcoming. The landscaping at the property is beautiful. We had a private pool and our villa overlooked rice fields.

We had issues with rain water leaking into the unit. The toilets emitted a strange smell. We had ants in the unit so be careful with any food you bring in. Also, although we had a private pool, it was heavily chlorinated causing discomfort breathing and stinging our eyes. The staff are lovely, lovely people, but due to these other reasons, the stay was not up to mark for us.

We booked the private pool villa for 4 of us and we had a really lovely stay. The staff are amazing, it was my friends birthday and they had managed to sort a cake for us at the last minute which was delicious and the owner even bought her some flowers! We had breakfast included and it was really yummy!

It could be a little cleaner but didn’t affect our stay. The location is abit out the way so you will maybe need a scooter or order grabs

The only thing I would change was I wish the food we could order at Nuana was more authentically local. Balinese cuisine is amazing and I would rather have ordered local food than western food. But the food was very well priced and tasty so we were happy enough.

Unfortunately the location information is wrong on Booking offer. The property is more than 20km from de Ubud centre, it’s terrible to travel for a dinner or even a Breakfast. The Booking offer shows 8 km from the centre, not really. I was charged but decide to overnight in another place closer to the Ubud centre.
