Ardea Villa Ubud

Super sauber, sehr gute Matratzen, Stockbett für Kinder, Pool sehr gut zum abkühlen, tägliche Reinigung, kurze Laufwege in die belebte Zone, aber trotzdem im grünen mit guten Warungs in der Umgebung. Ausflug und Transport haben die Besitzer sehr gut und zu einem vernünftigen Preis für uns organisier.

Uns war in Ubud im allgemeinen zu viel los, dafür kann aber die Unterkunft nichts.

This is a lovely villa nestled in the rice fields. It is absolutely gorgeous with modern facilities. The villa was incredibly clean. Location is also great, its short distance to the city centre. Maria was very helpful and supported us with our luggage as cars are not able to get to villa, so she offered scooters to take our luggage. I would highly recommend villa for family with children. After site seeing, the children enjoyed their time in the swimming pool and watching fire flies in the rice field at night.

The staff who collected us to transfer us to the villa were very friendly and helpful and also kept the villa clean and replenished with fresh towels and bed making etc.

It was a bit of a windy walk to get from the villa to the main road but there were some nice massage places and cafes along the way.

Great property, beautiful location among the rice fields. Had everything we needed. Love that the kitchen was open to the pool area.

Cute Balinese style villa in the middle of rice fields. Nice clean pool, spacious bedrooms, open kitchen. I had a great stay.

No car access but they organise baggage transport to the villa which was good.

Great villa. Quiet location which suited us - 10 minute walk from centre. Fully equipped kitchen. Aldis Coffee nearby for breakfast, lunch etc - excellent food. Would thoroughly recommend.

Amazing spot in Ubud, beautiful villa tucked away in the rice fields but only a short walk to the city centre. The pool was great and the staff really helpful. Having a washing machine was very convenient too. We loved our stay here!

Beautiful little villa located close to the heart of central Ubud. Easy 10 min walk to markets and main street of Ubud. Great quiet location, set amongst the rice fields. Maria the property manager was very good at communicating. The water filter dispenser was great to save on excessive plastic water bottle usage. Loved our stay at Ardea Villa and would definitely recommend.

A short walk from the center of Ubud and in a very beautiful location among the rice fields. Right next door, almost next to a restaurant that served breakfast from 7 in the morning. The accommodation was very beautiful, modern and had everything you needed. The hostess was very welcoming.

The pillows could have been more comfortable, they were too high and not very soft memory foam pillows. The bed could have had another thinner pillow, because not all people can sleep with a high headboard. That's why I had to sleep without a pillow. The blankets could have also had duvet covers, not sheets. But that's not that important, because overall everything was very pleasant.

We loved the place.quietness and the villa owner or manager Maria was good and atrranged for a taxi upon a days notice. the cleaners and the boy who helped with luggage transport were all kind and helpful. Though its always a 10 to 15min walk to ubud centre its so relaxing.

Existing Cutlery is really bad and not enough, could be changed ..they are so dirty. The bed in the inside room has the top covered so AC does not reach us when we sleep, had to use the fan. Room service is good but intimation or upon request service would have been good.

Logement propre, au calme et près du centre-ville a la fois. La literie est exceptionnelle. Maria et son équipe ont été très professionnels, a la fois a l'écoute et discret. Je recommande fortement ce logement. Merci encore pour ces quelques jours !

Dat het nog wel behoorlijk vanuit parkeerplek lopen is, maar ze helpen je wel met de bagage. Voordeel is wel dat je vanuit daar alles lopend kan doen naar centrum.

Wat een heerlijke plek was dit! Een paradijsje bij de rijstvelden, dichtbij het centrum van Ubud, maar zonder de drukte. Het meeste is op loopafstand, maar wij hebben een scooter gehuurd om wat verder te komen. De villa is prachtig en van alle gemakken voorzien. De private pool was geweldig: de kinderen wilden daar het liefst de hele dag in blijven. Mochten we ooit weer in Ubud komen, dan gaan we daar zeker weer verblijven.

Twee puntjes: - de buitenunit van de airco hangt dichtbij de master bedroom, waardoor je de herrie ervan erg goed hoort - de matras van het bed in de master bedroom heeft kuilen

Everything. It was excellent. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. The rooms were more than we could’ve asked for. Location was excellent, close to the centre (15min walk to Main Street). In particular, the host Maria, was amazing. Responds quickly and really helpful.

Our only area for improvement would be to put some light on the pathway to the house. It was just very dark to walk at night.

The villa is fabulous and I really can’t think of anything they could improve on. Communication prior to arrival was good, with clear instructions about where to meet their staff to have our bags transported by motorbike. When we arrived at the central car park, a staff member was there very quickly to help us. The villa is beautiful, with lots of room and very nice furnishings. The setting was absolutely magical: it’s surrounded by beautiful rice terraces and was very peaceful and relaxing. The walk to the centre of town was only 600m and on a solid concrete path. There were excellent warungs (restaurants) only a few hundred metres from the villa. It was great having filtered water available so we didn’t have to keep buying water.

It’s quite a long walk from the villa to the supermarket (2.5km), so you really need to go there by car before you arrive. We really enjoyed the tropical fruit that was left for us, but it would have been great to have some coffee and tea provided.

Location was fantastic, close to Ubud centre but far enough away to feel the bliss of Ubud. No car access so either walk or Gojek scooter up the hill. Facilities were great and host is amazing and very helpful 😀

Everything was exactly as described on Booking.com. The place was clean, and the bathroom was well-maintained. You’ll need to park your vehicle at the designated parking area and walk to the villa, but no worries—they’ll carry your luggage by motorcycle. The villa is beautifully located in the middle of the paddy fields, offering such a serene view. It has a cozy little living area perfect for watching TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and complete utensils. The rooms are comfortable—my children felt right at home, and the bunk bed was a wonderful touch. The master bedroom was also lovely and cozy. The outdoor pool was perfect for cooling off under the hot Ubud sun. Although there were some mosquitoes, the owner thoughtfully provided mosquito repellents. The only downside was a brief water disruption—the supply suddenly stopped. However, the owner responded quickly and resolved the issue promptly. Everything was back to normal, and everyone was happy again.

Excellent villa, very quiet, in the rice paddies, good location and well maintained. Very nicely decorated, made you feel like home.

Loved the location. Only a 10 minute walk out of the hustle and bustle of Ubud but really felt as if you were getting away from it all.

Location was in a quiet area but still close to all the action of Ubud. Pool was a bonus to cool down. Washing machine really useful.

More kitchen crockery , eg mugs More than one key would be good when 2 couples staying or a lock box outside.

Villa was very clean and nice. Hosts were very welcoming, supportive and accommodating.

Only cons was the fact that the car cannot directly go the villa, you need to go by foot or a scooter for around 500 meters which can be annoying sometimes as the path is very narrow.

Loved the villa and host was very friendly and helpful. Great location if you like being in the rice paddies.

We lost water for a day after monsoon rain, but they organised repairs.

We loved this beautiful villa! Great communication with the host. The place is clean and spacious. Kids loved the bunk beds and two bathrooms for a big family.

Although the location is walking distance to central Ubud, the car cannot get to the villa directly and we had to rely on staff’s motorbike with our luggage. No big deal and it was adventure for our kids to go on a motorbike.

Absolutely loved our stay at Ardea, the neighbourhood was quiet and pieceful. Maria and the team were very helpful with whatever we needed. Plus extras for bug repellent. The beds were clean and comfortable with extra towels and bonus washing machine. Definitely the best accommodation out of the 3 we have had in Bali (Aotearoa NZ)

I most enjoyed how easy our stay was with having everything we needed. I loved returning from a busy day looking over the rice fields with a quiet and peaceful area to relax.

Amazing villa close to Ubud center (15 min walk). Maria is a great and very responsive host. She replied promptly to all of our questions. Really nice clean (but small) pool.

Nearest road where cars can go is 5-10 minutes walking on a very narrow trail. With suitcases it wasn't so easy. Make sure to ask in advance (I didn't, and regretted after arriving) for staff team to help you carry suitcases on their motorbike.

We loved the outdoor kitchen and the pool. The location was walking distance to restaurants and markets. Maria, our host, was friendly and flexible after our flight was delayed in we checked in after midnight.

The Villa was beautiful, which was located between two other villas. It was very clean, modern and specious. The pool was private and clean. The owner was very nice and polite. She helped us with the check in/out and the luggage. Location was great, it was just a 15 min walking to the center. Few restaurants available on the way and next to the Villa. Room service/ cleaning was included. I really recommend this property in Ubud. :) 10/10

Maria, the hostess was wonderful. She could not do enough for us. The villa was lovely and clean and the pool was cool and clear. This villa was perfect for a family stay in a very busy town, quite Relaxing with everything you need supplied. We would recommend this property to everybody.
