Panoramic vista on burns

Very comfortable and welcoming - felt like home! Two bedrooms both very decent sized. Ideal location, just a short drive to CBD, pools, etc. Felt very private even though the space is below the main house.

The view was amazing! The inside its self was very clean, beds were super comfortable and bathroom was excellent. The location was close to the surrounding shops

Breakfast was nice and handy, location is in close proximity to where I wanted to go everyday, watching netball , enjoyed the beautiful view.

The views were fabulous. It was exceptionally clean. Really good directions on getting into the property given by Mary well in advance of our stay which was great. Really good heating and blankets provided in each bedroom.

Our bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress was very thin and unsupported. The couch was very thin and uncomfortable. It was very low and as I have MS it was very hard for me to get up from. The towels, tea towel and flannels were all very thin and needed to be replaced. The shower door did not close properly and water leaked all over the bathroom floor. There was no drain in the bathroom floor for it to go down and no mop to clean it up. I am just letting you know these issues so you can make things right for your future guests.

The panoramic views, the easy access, the spacious rooms and the well equipped kitchenette.

The chopping board was a little too small and we got it stuck in the sink. Oops.

Spacious, well equipped flat in a good location. It had everything we needed for our stay.

The home had everything we needed, it had a wonderful veiw and was easy to find.

The hostess met us and helped us get the key out of the lockbox. She was amazing, warm, friendly and very helpful. She also checked on us a couple of hours after arrival to see if we were ok and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

I can never make a lock box work but luckily Mary was on hand to let us in. Two double beds, blurb said sofa bed available but no linen was obvious. Not a biggie as our kids didn't mind sharing and I could have asked Mary for sheets if it was a problem. Just making people aware of this. Would have given it a '9' if beds & pillows were a bit more comfy, they were not terrible but not the best.

Stunning views, very large bedrooms, clean and comfortable.

The sofa bed was unsuitable for an adult, with a deep groove in the middle. The kitchen is very small, with just a microwave - no hotplates - and very limited bench space. Ok if you're eating out. Access is up a steep driveway with a sharp turn at the top - ok for me, but could be difficult for some.

The breakfast cereals and milk were a lovely touch, great location, easy communication

The property was better than I expected, it was clean, warm and comfortable. The host was contactable and helped accommodate us for an extra night at last minute notice. We enjoyed the privacy and the view.

The mattress and pillow was a little too firm. The property is situated under a main residential home so we could hear some noise coming from upstairs. This wasn’t a major issue but just wasn’t expected.

The instructions for obtaining the key and locating the entrance were somewhat confusing.

That we didn’t stay longer

We loved how quiet and private this lovely place was.The setting and the view were exceptional. The indoor/outdoor flow was great. The walk into the city centre only took 30mins or so and though the property is elevated, the walk back wasn't a hard climb. Mary is delightful and provided all we needed.

Mary and her lovely family warmly greeted us on arrival and showed us to our accommodation which was very cosy and comfortable. The view was stunning. We loved our stay and would choose to stay at Panorama Vista on Burns next time we are in New Plymouth.

The location was ideal, with easy access to the CBD and other places we visited. It was incredibly quiet and restful with the ocean view.

The flat was spacious and comfortable for a family of four. The flat is well equipped with everything you need. Stunning view.... Exceptional service from the host Mary. Lovely breakfast cereals also provided.

The view over the ocean was great and the host was friendly and checked if there was anything we needed. As we had two adult children travelling with us, we needed bedding to use the sofa bed. Also we asked for a Pyrex bowl to cook porridge and this was promptly brought to us. The apartment was very well equipped, including a gas heater in the lounge area, electric heater in the master bedroom and a dehumidifier in the second bedroom. The large TV screen around 65 inches was great. We generally drove into New Plymouth's town centre which was about 3 to 5 kilometers drive. Other parks and gardens are within 3 to 6 kms drive.

The host warned us that the right of way access required us to drive into their guest parking space carefully. That said, the high location of the house in this suburb provided great views across the city and ocean, so it was worth the effort. You can get some extra exercise if you walk to the nearby Westown shopping centre, with a few eateries, about 400 metres. Then the walk back up the driveway is a short 20 metre work-out.

Great location and views. Breakfast cereals available along with milk. Bottles of water in the fridge as well. Two very spacious bedrooms with queen size beds. Great shower. Well equipped kitchen, small but definitely functional! Very comfortable stay. Mary was a wonderful host, she came and saw us on arrival and communication with her before arriving was great.
