Reviewed May 10, 2026We had an absolutely relaxing time in this spotlessly clean,beautifully furnished venue that provides for absolutely everything you may need. Loved being spoilt with loads of body wash, shampoo and conditioner,toilet paper,tea,coffee,sugar,milk,rusks, biscuits and even chocolates The whole weekend felt like a heavenly treat, thank you Evie.

Attention has been given to every little detail, to make this a charming, comfortable home - a place to 'unplug' and sit in wonder and awe of this incredible countryside location. The house sits within a secure estate, which is an added bonus for peace of mind. The home is beautifully adorned, with sweet details and comforts to bring delight at every moment. The furnishings are more than comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped. The house sits beneath a canopy of oak trees. I visited in Autumn, and the mist that moves in overnight settles into the tree leaves, dropping down onto the roof, which sounded like rain all night. I slept so well! I imagine that - no matter the season - these giant trees must be spectacular in some way all year round. I chose The Little Tin House as a halfway stop, for one night, but deeply wished I could stay longer... I will be back!

Road to the estate - quite potholed - obviously no fault of owners however. Although we didn't use it, the loft "bedroom" with an extra bed is accessed by a ladder - might be good to know if you plan to use it.

The estate too is incredible. Our host was wonderful and has thought of absolutely everything. Thank you soooo much for a superb stay.

She welcomed us so warmly, and her friendliness and kindness really set the tone for our stay. The tin house was absolutely beautiful, with every little detail carefully thought out. The decor created such a unique and special atmosphere. It truly felt like a hidden getaway. Outside, the seating area with soft lights gave us the perfect spot to relax in the evening, and the calm surroundings made it so peaceful. We loved driving around and seeing the wild animals, which made the whole experience even more memorable. This was such an amazing stay, and we would highly recommend it to anyone. We’ll definitely be back!
