Elegant Townhouse steps from historic Birr Castle

The house is beautiful and the location excellent. Perfectly set up with everything you could need and more. Excellent communication from the hosts. I can’t recommend this property highly enough.

Nothing!

Our family has stayed here before and it is in a great location and very quiet. The house is lovely and spacious. The host and staff were very accommodating. The house is well stocked and it's easy to find yourself relaxing on the sofas. Plenty of light if you want to read at the table by the window. Space for a car on the drive. Feels very private.

Can't think of anything.

Very convenient, comfortable. Lots of thoughtful touches like milk in fridge and some seasoning etc in cupboard. We didn't need to cook but great to have the option without having to go buy everything. Beds were comfortable. Loads of space. Convenient parking.

Central location and lovely property

Clean, but needs a good thorough clean

It was a lovely home right in the centre of Birr. A short walk from everything. The house was spacious and spotless throughout. Every appliance was easy to use and we had no issues at all.

Beautiful house, well equipped, quiet but central location - castle and main street just round the corner.

Nothing, it's one of the nicest houses we've stayed in.

Excellent location in Birr with parking and convenient to amenities. Host Caroline has thought of everything, the house is very well presented and comfortable. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Birr

We liked basically everything! We met the property manager rather than the owner but that was fine; she was very informative and had lots of helpful advice as well as handing off the keys and showing us the ropes. It's quite spacious and well-furnished with a functional kitchen and a bunch of bedrooms and bathrooms. We spent a whole day just walking around the next-door castle grounds and general area. Friendly neighbors, easy to get to, free off-street parking if you rented a vehicle. Served as a "home base" for day trips around Ireland for us. Highly recommend.

Not much, it was great!

Size

There is not to much to do in this location

The location was brilliant for us as we were down for a wedding and were in walking distance to all the amenities. We found the accommodation absolutely perfect, great size of house and beautifully decorated. I would highly recommend this accommodation and would definitely go there again!

Nothing.

Spacious, well decorated home. Very central in Birr with good parking. Well fitted out kitchen, although on the stovetop it is hard to tell when the plates are on.

Just a fantastic comfortable stay.

Very central 2 mins from John Kelly's bar and Birr Castle.

The house was in a perfect location next to Birr Castle. It was truly a home from home. The house had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay!

Lovely home, great location and nice and quiet

amazing house, very spacious. Great location to explore the extensive grounds of Birr Castle.

nothing.

It’s location was excellent. It was very comfortable when we figured out how to work the heating. It was a modern property with very tasteful decor.

The heating took a while to figure out. The downstairs loo was very cold as was the en-suite. I’m sure that wouldn’t matter in summertime.

House was lovely. It had everything we needed. Caroline was a super host.

It is a lovely, spacious apartment, well supplied, and the host was very helpful. The location is perfect for visiting Birr Castle. Just make sure to contact them before to find the exact location.

I wasn’t sure where to find it at first.

Great location. House is very spacious, clean and quiet. Had all the supplies you would need. Access to washing machine appreciated. Heating works well. Easy parking. The host communicated well and the lady who meets you with the keys is friendly.

Had plumbing issues late in our stay. Communicated with host who apologised for inconvenience. We were checking out the next day and were able to work around issue.

Fantastic location for the town centre and attractions such as the castle. A very comfortable and well equipped accommodation.

Excellent location, and well appointed. Good pub around corner if you like a drink and music and food. Ate in the Dooleys hotel, you need to be hungry. Would definitely rebook and recommend again.
