Beautiful setting... Comfort and Homely feeling.... Perfect for families. Will visit again definitely.

It was just like home away from home in a peaceful location but not far from a great town centre.

The cottage is very cozy. We felt like home. We found everything we needed in the cottage. My 5 year old daughter enjoyed the toys in the kid room. We loved sipping our coffees looking over to the beautiful Orchard in the mornings. The location was absolutely great. Very close to the best wineries and town center. We couldn’t ask for more.

Felt like a home away from home. Loads of appliances, lots of heating options (it's a large old villa), lovely spacious bedrooms. Thanks for allowing our dog to stay.

Loved this cottage for our family of five, had everything we needed and so cosy

Location is fantastic for me as I enjoy dog walks nearby. Quiet ( apart from the road works weekdays) . Bed was super comfortable. Well equipped, cosy and dog friendly. Loved being able to walk on the orchard for our evening walk.

I liked everything. Garden gate and fence was not the most secure to leave dogs in but we managed. House took a bit to heat but there were heaters and electric blankets so was cosy as

The house was very homely, had all the home comforts you could possibly want!

I personally got a tiny bit spooked at night, not for any particular reason, more so that it’s a very old villa & I just freaked myself out in the middle of the night 😅

Position was great if you did not want to stay in the town. Lovely outside sitting area and a beautiful old house.

The Wi-Fi use for streaming on the tv was a bit hit and miss but normal browsing on phone was fine.

Location was AMAZING, so close to Black Barn, Te Mata Wineries and Havelock North Shops too. Had an amazing time at this beautiful home. Everything was spotless, stylish and incredibly comfortable. Thoughtful touches everywhere and a real sense of care in how the house is set up. Felt relaxed from the moment we arrived with our fur baby. Communication was easy and warm, which made the whole experience even better! We would happily stay here again - highly recommended!

Everything you needed for a wonderful stay. Loved the cottage, so homely and welcoming.

Lovely cottage on a orchard, privacy and was allowed to take the family pet. A well equipped house, with everything that you need, just like being at home.

Was really well equipped for our little one and our dog. Had a beautiful and peaceful little garden. Spacious rooms.

Needed to consult a manual to operate some appliances.

Het huisje ademt een heerlijke authentieke sfeer. Je voelt dat het een oude woning is maar dat maakt het niet vies. Hoewel dit ook betekent dat de indeling soms wat vreemd voelt (badkamer naast smalle entre gang). De keuken is wel de meest moderne en complete plek van het huis. Details als het droogrek dat je kan ophijsen, het handige kookeiland en de haard maken het ontzettend knus. Konijntjes die door de tuin rennen maken het verblijf af. De kamers zelfs zijn soms wat vol en rommelig, maar dit doet niets af aan de kwaliteit van de bedden. Voor onze dochter was er een echte princessenkamer met heel veel speelgoed!

Fotos laten het huis soms wat moderner of nieuwer ogen dan dat het is (in badkamer staat bijvoorbeeld ook de wasmachine en bad oogt wat oud). Dat doet niets af aan de kwaliteit en sfeer van het huis overigens.

Quiet location and quirky decor.

More our fault i guess but we struggled a little with some of the electrical appliances even though there were instructions. Even the microwave was more high tech then we'd ever encountered so it just had us a little frustrated at times but like I said it was more our fault. Would definitely stay again.

Nice and cosy, we had the fire going and it warmed up the house immensely

It was slightly cold in the rooms but you expect that with older houses, however the heaters and electric blanket soon warmed up the room and bed

As oldies, found some appliance instructions hard to follow! But no complaints about the cottage.

Location - the house was amazing and had everything we needed which added a personal touch. The fireplace was great especially in winter. Host was very good at communicating.

It was very cold and hard to get the place warm even with the fireplace and heat pump (was not working all that great). And the location was a bit to far out from everything.

Excellent location and lovely to experience an old villa. Walking distance to the river and with lovely views of the orchard. We came in winter and really enjoyed the woodburner in the kitchen. Beds were super comfy and the shower pressure was excellent. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck at the table in the sun. Only a short drive into Havelock North township. We would definitely stay again.

Incredible location, lovely home...perfect

Absolutely loved our stay at the cottage, had everything we needed. It was tranquil and gorgeous. Close by to everything we needed. Would 100% recommend to anyone and will absolutely be repeat guests if we find ourselves over in the Bay again.

The house is cozy and clean , the host Thomas is so warm and nice, too. Almost every gear you can get here.

Loved the quaint historic house and orchard. Great central location.

The bedrooms were slightly warm due to hot weather. However, fans were provided and we slept just fine!

Such a lovely experience staying in the cottage. So nice an quiet and peaceful staying in an Orchard very relaxing like a home away from home loved all the xtra touches like fresh fruit juice chocolate and lots of nice things to eat wow would recommend it to all my friends and family

Few appliances issues which weren't able to be resolved due to lack of communication. Wouldn't deter me though.

A gorgeous spot in amongst the orchard. We brought our dog and was charmed by all the dog accessories left out for us to use. Roaming the orchard was brilliant fun loved by all.

Great location to Havelock North. Nice and quiet. Plenty of room for parking and turning - even with a large trailer. Access to Neon was also great. Thanks so much Thomas and Winifred. I was there with 2 work colleagues but it would also be fantastic. Will definitely stay again and recommend.

Lovely old cottage with everything included. Very cozy. TV was Smart TV so could access Netflix etc.

The location is superb. Close to vineyards and shops and lots to do in the surroundings area.

Everything is there for the guests to use. Very convenient We wish it’s plum season when we were there.

It was an over kill of comfort and generosity. Never experienced this before
