Spacious and very clean studio, ideally located in Rethymno. Very warm welcome from the hotel staff, good advice regarding places to visit in and around the city. I notably followed their advice to visit the area around Plakias and really I was not disappointed. I also highly appreciated indications given by the hotel staff regarding where to park, it was very useful. I can only recommend Casa Moazzo.

Anna e lo staff hanno veramente un buon senso di ospitalità, sono gentili, accoglienti e pronti a soddisfare ogni richiesta. Casa Moazzo was one of the best stays we have ever had. The staff were truly exceptional, going out of their way to help with any request and with guidance. We felt like we were staying in a home with family! Anna, the host, is so courteous and friendly. Her knowledge of the town history and the history of Casa Moazzo felt like we had a free guided tour at breakfast! The location was right in the heart of Old Town. Very convenient for shopping, food, or just a leisurely stroll. The room was spotless and spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. I cannot stress what a rare jewel of a find Casa Moazzo and it's staff are!

Beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean room, with a very comfortable mattress, in a beautifully and carefully restored building. Very good breakfast and, above all, wonderful owners and staff, always friendly and helpful. The very high rating of this property is definitely no coincidence. Absolutely well deserved!

The location was great, downtown, yet not on the main arteries of the old town, which would have been too noisy. Amenities were perfect, so was the room, very classy and great standard. And breakfast was simply superb. The staff was also charming and very helpful and well-disposed. I highly recommend the place!

Everyone who worked at Casa Moazza was incredibly friendly and helpful! We felt like we were visiting friends instead of guests in a hotel. They really went out of their way to accommodate our wishes and to help us with any requests or questions. They really couldn't have been nicer or more helpful! The location was also excellent--right on the edge of the old town of Rethymno, but without the crowds or noise. The AC was fantastic, the breakfast delicious, and the bed very comfortable. We all loved the rustic setting with stone walls and wooden ceilings.

Nice quiet room and enjoyed breakfast in the courtyard. The staff is very kind and we felt comfortable right away.

While pretty convenient to the municipal paid lot it is always more of a plus when you can drive to the hotel to drop bags. This is a minus but it isn't their fault as they are located in the center and very convenient once you have arrived.

Beautifully renovated suites with a mixture of new and old. Set in a quieter part of the old town it is a easy walk to all the sites and restaurants. Staff are lovely and attentive with a delicious breakfast served in the garden areas.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location was perfect – just a short walk from the city center, restaurants, shops, and all the main attractions. The breakfast served every day was delicious, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

De accomodatie ligt in het oude centrum, en op een steenworp afstand van de haven, uitgaansgelegenheden en het strand. Alles ligt binnen 10-15 lopen. Het personeel is extreem vriendelijk en de gastvrouw/ eigenaresse van Casa Moazzo is trots op haar accomodatie, het is haar ouderlijk huis geweest.

There are simply no words to describe how incredible and special Casa Moazzo is. As a family, we have stayed in dozens of hotels and accommodations around the world, but this place is truly different. Beyond the exceptional quality of the rooms, the comfortable beds, the great shower, the impeccable cleanliness, and the wonderful breakfast, we had an experience that will stay with us forever. During our trip, our one-year-old baby became seriously ill and suffered a febrile seizure. The hotel owner immediately stepped in to help us, personally took us to the hospital, and stayed by our side supporting us as if we were family. When we returned after the hospitalization, they continued to care for us in every possible way, bringing toys for our children, checking on us, and treating us with a level of kindness and warmth that felt like we had known each other for years. We feel incredibly fortunate that we chose to stay here during such a difficult moment. What could have been a terrifying experience was made so much easier because of the compassion and humanity we found at Casa Moazzo. The location is also fantastic, just a short walk from both the vibrant old town and the beach. Without a doubt, this was the best hospitality experience we have ever had. If I could give 10,000 stars, I would.

Et helt fantastisk ophold! Hotellet er utroligt hyggeligt, rent og indbydende med en dejlig, afslappende atmosfære. Personalet fortjener en særlig ros- alle var utrolige søde, høflige, smilende og altid klart til at hjælpe. Man føler sig virkelig velkommen fra første øjeblik. Vi kan kun give vores allerbedste anbefalinger og glæder os allerede til at komme tilbage. Tusind tak for et skønt ophold :-)

Das Casa Moazzo ist ein Juwel mitten in der Innenstadt von Rethymnon. Wir sind vom Flughafen Heraklion mit dem Mietwagen direkt nach Rethymnon gefahren. In einer Stunde waren wir auf dem Parkplatz direkt am Meer (Samstags-Markt), der kostenfrei zur Verfügung steht. Da wir im Juni unterwegs waren, gab es nie Probleme einen freien Platz zu finden. Am Samstag ist Markt, daher sollte man sich für diesen Tag einen Ausweichplatz suchen. Das Casa Moazzo selbst liegt ca. 8 Fußminuten vom Parkplatz entfernt und selbst mit Gepäck ist die Entfernung gut zu überwinden. Wir hatten ein bisschen Schwierigkeiten, das Casa Moazzo zu finden. Hätten wir unsere Augen weit geöffnet, dann ist das Schild am Eingang des Hauses nicht zu übersehen. Wir haben uns für ein Apartment im Erdgeschoss entschieden mit Freisitz (Bank) direkt vor dem Apartment. Dabei haben wir nicht bedacht, dass das Apartment kein Fenster hat. Für uns war es überhaupt nicht schlimm; jedoch würden wir beim nächsten Aufenthalt ein Apartment mit Fenster buchen. Das Apartment war trotz Sommerwärme immer schön kühl, auch wenn die Klima-Anlage nicht manuell dazu geschalten wurde. Das Frühstück ist absolut ausreichend und von sehr guter Qualität. Die Mitarbeitenden machen einen den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich. Vielen Dank an Alle und speziell an Jannis, Sandy und Manolis. Als wir ausgecheckt haben fühlte es sich an, die Familie zu verlassen.

Ein kleiner Hinweis bei der Buchung des Apartments im Erdgeschoss, dass dieses ohne Frontfenster ist.

Emplacement idéal , personnel compétant et à l'écoute , très belle chambre confortable et calme . Petit déjeuner tres agréable sur la terrasse ou côté jardin . Je recommande et je reviendrai avec plaisir . Tout était absolument parfait!

The hotel is in a great location. Breakfast was good & staff friendly. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite which was fabulous. The rooms are a great size with everything you need & bed very comfortable.

Très bien situé, proche du centre mais au calme, vaste chambre avec une très belle salle de bain. Petit balcon agréable, très bon petit déjeuner. Demeure ancienne de caractère.

Kõik meeldis isegi väga ja läheks alati tagasi.

The staff were lovely and friendly nothing was too much trouble they were very happy to help. Lovely courtyard areas to sit and enjoy the buffet breakfast or a glass of wine and relaxing chillout. They cook eggs to perfection. Kept beautifully clean.

There were no hooks to put your towel or dressing gown in bathroom.

Wir hatten die Excecutive Suite. Man sollte wissen das es zwei Suiten in dieser Kategorie gibt. Eine ganz neue und moderne Suite einige Häuser entfernt und eine im ursprünglichen Old Town Stil im Hotel. Die neue Suite hat uns nicht so gefallen obwohl dort alles sauber und war und es auch eine kleine Küche gab. Es gab aber keinen Schrank nur eine Kleiderstange und die Klimageräte sind am Boden direkt am Bett. Der Schlafraum klein eng und etwas stickig bei hohen Temperaturen. Wir den Old Town Stil mit allen damit verbundenen Eigenarten und haben deshalb gewechselt. Neben der älteren geräumigeren Suite steht ein Glockenturm mit sehr extrem lautem Geläut. Uns hat dies nicht gestört. Er läutet auch nur zwischen 07:00 und 22:00 Uhr unregelmässig. Kann aber nerven. Das Frühstücksbuffet war perfekt wie auch der Service. Die Lage ist ansonsten ruhig inmitten der Altstadt.

Casa Moazzo is a charming place to stay. You will look out to their courtyard from your room. The feeling is totally Venetian. Our hosts were genuinely welcoming and willing to do anything to make our visit special.

I'm not sure about this. The shower is usually an issue. The floor should be grippy and there should be a place to grab on to. The latch handle issue opening to the balcony I reported to their staff. I'm sure that they took care of this.

The location in the old town was fantastic, really quiet in the evening. The building has lots of history and all the suites were a different design. Nice sitting out area , with extremely helpful staff. Breakfast has plenty of choice and it was great to sit in the courtyard.

The stairs were a problem if you had mobility problems. .The first suite we booked unfortunately wasn’t any good because it was up a narrow staircase with out any hand rail, but our problem was soon rectified with a suite in a better location for us.

A beautiful historic building, with a detailed and very tasteful design that makes your vacation a dream. The interior courtyards, were you can drink a good wine, became in the evening the most beautiful place that does*t let you go to bed. I completely agree and there are no more words of praise compared to other clients regarding the hosts, the location and all the amenities. We benefited from everything we wanted: beauty,, hospitality, peace and just 10-15 minutes to a beautiful beach with fine sand.

The friendliest people work there, always smiling, ready for a chat, but also not pushing it. The rooms are very big and comfortable. The breakfast is very good. And the building with the garden just look amazing. When we arrived we were greeted with refreshments and traditional Greek pastry and the receptionist told us about the city, what to see, where to go, where to eat. We also tried one of the restaurants that they told us and it was amazing. The second night of our stay we wanted to try another but it was completely full - I am sure it is really good. One of the days we needed to leave earlier than the breakfast so they prepared a package for us to take - you could see it was made with love. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Rethymno.

The location of the property was excellent was off a quiet street in a very busy old town, which made it really great. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was wonderful. It was nice and quiet and they were so helpful and accommodating.

I hate to complain, but there was one thing the mattress was way too soft for me. The room size was huge and most everything else was excellent, but that's the one thing I didn't care for.

Excellent location with perfect space for our stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The building originally dates back to the 17th century but has been modernized and was extremely quiet and comfortable. We never heard a single noise from the apartment above us. Breakfast was amazing and served in a quaint courtyard next to our room.

Can’t think of a single thing we didn’t like.

This was my husband and i’s third time to Greece but first time to Crete and this was one of the best places we have stayed. The rooms are so unique, nestled down a quiet road but close to all the main attractions, the home made Greek breakfast was so wonderful. The hospitality of all the staff at Casa Mossi Suites is some of the best hospitality we have experienced. When we had to leave early for breakfast, they packed us a breakfast, were so helpful with food suggestions and made sure our stay was great. We hope to be back some day!

The suite was very spacious with a high ceiling and stairs to the mezzanine which accommodated the second double bed and flatscreen tv. The property is located in the old town with all the shops, cafés and restaurants within easy walking distance. The staff are welcoming and very attentive we couldn't have asked for anything more. We hope to visit again.

It is a bit tricky to find parking as it's a busy area but the hotel staff will advise. The shower took a bit of time to heat up so be patient.
