Struttura non moderna e bagno così così, forse dalle foto sembrava meglio. Come primo punto per una notte può andare bene, gli aerei si sentono parecchio ma non ne passano molti di notte Non ho ben capito come mai il servizio gratuito della navetta con l’aeroporto è solo di drop off e non pick up (offrono anche pick up a pagamento)

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026Very convenient location, 5 minute tuktuk ride from the airport. Ideal for late arrivals into Sri Lanka. Room was very clean, excellent air conditioning, hot shower as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast on the rooftop was good. Host was helpful in mapping out an itinerary for me. Bus stop (next to the post office) for transfers down to Makumbura bus station 1 minute walk away.
Couldn’t fault this place.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026Perfect place to stay before or after the airport. It is a small hotel with a rooftop area to eat breakfast or hang out. The room was clean and spacious, and the gentleman working there was so kind and helpful. The hotel is walking distance to a good grocery store and bakery, as well as a path along the lagoon.

They also woke up at 4 am to make sure I got to the airport. Also, they provide free airport drop. Truly such lovely people who do such out of the kindness of their hearts.

Reviewed Apr 5, 2026Near the airport, and they were reliable with the pick-up. However, the pick-up is not free, only the drop-off is. They also arranged for a taxi to go to Weligama the next day for us, and it was a good price (comparable to PickMe price). No complaints with breakfast, and the hosts were very nice and reliable.
I wish it could be a little clearer that pick-up from airport is not free. I thought it would be free since they advertise very clearly that airport dropoff is free. I guess pick-up requires more coordination so it costs extra? But they did pick-up for pretty cheap. Also, we stayed in a deluxe double room but the pictures make it look a lot more pristine than it really is. It was fine, but just know that it's not quite at the level of the pics.

Auch ein paar Lokale zum Essen nearby. Ich habe ein Lunchpaket mitbekommen, da sehr früh zum Flughafen. Transfer kostenlos und pünktlich.... Klima neu, WIFI gut, Zimmer sauber. Owner organisiert Taxi zu fairen Preis. Preis Leistung perfekt, wir kommen wieder, wenn Übernächtigung Flughafen benötigen! Flieger zum Greifen nah

Did not get the chance to try the breakfast/restaurant, however, got nice recommendations to restaurants outside the hotel. Free airport shuttle.
Hotel does not accept credit cards, just so you know! No fridge in the room, bit of a letdown.

The towel was dirty, the shower was smelly. There is no breakfast as they do not provide takeaway like all other hotels do. There was a party next door and the airplane sound above the hotel made it impossible to sleep. No laundry facility.

Reviewed Mar 8, 2026Nähe zum Flughafen - nur ca 5. Minuten Fahrt. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt :) Klima im Zimmer, Sauberkeit völlig ok und Bad soweit gut in Schuss. Für eine Nacht zur Durchreise völlig ausreichend!
Frühstück war sehr basic aber in Ordnung. Die Flugzeug-Geräusche sind unglaublich laut, auch vor allem nachts. Dafür kann das Hotel aber natürlich nichts, das liegt einfach an der Lage. Muss einem nur bewusst sein. Ohropax mitbringen!

The room was modest and simple but clean and it had all the necessary for a pleasant stay. The staff was really helpful and available.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2025Struttura nuova e molto ben gestita da una famiglia. Le camere sono pulite e spaziose. Proprietario giovane e gentilissimo che ci ha accolti e ci ha portati gratuitamente in aeroporto la mattina presto.
La struttura è in una posizione molto comoda per l'aeroporto, in 5 minuti in auto si è arrivati, chiaramente però di notte si sentono gli aerei che continuano a decollare.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2025・トータル二週間のスリランカ滞在中、こちらに2泊3日を三回宿泊しました(宿を拠点としながらキャンディやヌワラエリアなどに出かけたり、ネパールにも足を延ばしたため)。都度、空港まで無料で送ってくれましたし、チップもいらないよといわれました。「最終日は早めに空港に行ってお土産を買いたい」と伝えると、「空港は高いから、明日でよかったら近くのお店に連れていってあげる」と、宿から数分の隠れ家的なお土産物屋さんを紹介もしてくれましたが、やはりここでねもチップは受け取ってもらえませんでした。 ・明日の朝ごはんは何時がいい？とか都度細かな連絡はWhatsAppでやり取り。このあたりもスムーズでしたし、何より返信も早いし、気楽で確実な方法だと思えました。 ・ベランダで朝食をいただくのですが、とても景色がよく、ここちよい場所でした。私は何度かここでリラックスしたり、仕事をしたりしていました。 ・スーパーが徒歩1～2分のところにあるので、日常の買い物には困りませんでした。 ・当初コロンボの宿を検討してていたのですが、空港からは遠く、便もよくないので、空港から車で5分程度のこの宿は、海外の方々には本当にお勧めです。
・基本的にフロントのようなものはなく、おそらく隣の離れにオーナーさんが住んでいるので、夜に着いた他の客が私の部屋のドアをどんどん叩いて、「どうしたらいいの」と言われることがありました。ホテルのせいではないのですが、他に泊まられている世界からこられていたお客様のマナーは、日本人の一般的なそれからすると少し理解できないこともありました。

Reviewed Aug 15, 2025Wij kwamen ‘s avonds aan op het vliegveld, en moesten de volgende dag onze tuktuk ophalen in Negombo. Hier hebben we geslapen als tussenstop. De hosts zijn super vriendelijk: ze wezen ons naar de dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt en gaven tips voor restaurants om te dineren. Kamer was zeer schoon, en bed was goed. Ontbijt was lekker, op het mooie dakterras van het gebouw. Het is 10 minuten met de taxi van de Airport af, en op loopafstand naar de officiële tuktukrental in Negombo. Aanrader!
Je hoort de vliegtuigen over vliegen, maar dat weet je als je een hotel dichtbij de airport kiest. Wij hebben er gewoon door heen geslapen.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2025The hotel is 10 minutes with a cab from the airport, which can be very useful when you arrive late. The owner is very nice and the communication with him is easy. The rooms are clean. The breakfast in the rooftop was nice also.
The only thing is , as you are very close to the airport (which is an advantag), you can hear the plane landing and take off.

Reviewed Aug 1, 2025The host couldn't have been more helpful. - He picked me up from the airport (even with my flight being changed and landing at 3am) and the instructions made it easy for me to find him in the car - He arranged a long distance taxi for me for the next day at a good price. I've continued to use his contact during my time here and shared it with friends, they provide super good rates across the island. - I could pay in euros and he gave me the change in Sri Lankan rupees - Most amazingly he helped take me to the hospital and translated lots for me cause I had a minor emergency I want to say thank you so much!! I couldn't have had a more friendly start to my trip. The apartment was clean, comfortable and close to the airport.
The noise of the planes overhead but I think you will get that almost everywhere in Negombo
