Das Personal und die liebevolle Einrichtung heißen einen gleich sehr willkommen. Shuttle-Service war auch super hilfreich, wenn man wie ich ohne eigenem Auto unterwegs ist. Die Küche ist top ausgestattet!

Heel fijn om in Stormsrivier in deze tent te slapen! Het is een leuke ervaring op zich en ook een heel goede prijs/kwaliteit-verhouding voor deze buurt. Wij waren er in juli (wintermaand) en waren de enige die in de tent sliepen, maar de koude viel uiteindelijk heel goed mee. De gedeelde wc's en douches waren proper en warm, de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes zijn gezellig ingericht en de locatie is prima, dichtbij verschillende attracties in de omgeving.

O lugar é lindo. A proposta é sensacional. Dormir em tendas no meio da natureza é indescritível. Os anfitriões são educados e muito prestativos. As camas tem aquecimento para dar um conforto durante o sono durante o inverno. Adoramos.

Mesmo sabendo que iríamos dormir em tendas na natureza, os ruídos dos animais durante a noite e início da manhã atrapalharam um pouco o sono mas faz parte da proposta da acomodação.

The place was very neat, and exceeded our expectations. Loved that we could also have the option to bring our dogs next time we visit. We were welcomed by a very friendly dog (owners dog) who made us feel at home :)

I loved the place, the beautiful little town and the wonderful host.. who made my stay a bit more memorable.. i would love to stay again here...

Todo perfecto! Llegué muy temprano en Basbuz, e hicieron el checking sin objection alguna! Me hospedé en el dormitorio compartido, entregan toalla, y las sábanas estuvieron deliciosas! Todo bien!

Pueden mejorar algunas recetas de los platillos… podría ser que la cocina “no es su fuerte”, pero te salva del hambre!

prettige lodge, heel mooi gelegen in een tuin, waar je steeds vogels hoort. Prima gastvrije ontvangst. De familiekamer was ruim, bedden goed, eigen badkamer.Je kunt er zelf koken en een ontbijt maken, dat is fijn. Je kunt ook gebruik maken van het ontbijt dat ze serveren. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding, veilig en rustig. Wat erg leuk was, is dat savonds voor ons de houtkachel werd aangemaakt, in een super gezellige huiskamer, lekker lezen en hangen op de bank en tot rust komen. de kamers zijn wel wat gedateerd, maar wij vonden dat geen probleem en waardeerden de gezeliige, huiselijke sfeer.

Amazing place!!! Go there 🧡 Truly in the nature, the owners are extremely nice and helpful, the kitchen outside and inside, very clean, the supermarket is super close. It’s heaven to just chill and forget about daily life challenges ✨ The birds sound morning guarantee. :) Highly recommend!

We stayed in a normal camping-style tent on a raised wooden platform, and it felt so private, peaceful, and completely different from anything I usually do. The property is beautiful. There are little corners everywhere — tables for tea or lunch, a boma area, a book nook, a bar, and spaces to just hang out. We played darts, pool, cards, watched TV, wrapped ourselves in cozy blankets at night, and Luca the dog even curled up by our feet. Michelle was really warm and welcoming, showed us around, and you can see how much love she’s put into the space. Bathrooms were spotless, the bed was super comfy with an electric blanket, and breakfast had all the things you could want. It was fun, cozy, and such a unique experience.

The property was very central to all things in Storms River. Beautiful greenery & bird life. Great kitchen & Braai area with beautiful surroundings.

It’s more of a backpackers stay with rooms & tents with shared toiletries. Thankfully we had our own bathroom.

Great place to stay, with friendly staff, fun vibe and access to facilities is very good. The tents could use some upgrades to make them more comfortable. Only one has proper camping chairs. Tents are a little close as well, but probably the same distance of some camping sites. close access to the showers and toilets and there is a boma in the center of the tents which has access to a fridge and everything you need to cook for yourself. Very close to local shops and restaurants (in walking distance). In a very quiet and accessible area. Its a must stay

Beautiful lodge in nature. The tents are so cute and cosy. At night you can watch the most beautiful stary sky. Close to Tsitsikamma park and you can book the shuttle with the lodge itself, they will take you there

The beds in the tents are quite hard. Not the most comfortable. The bathrooms could be cleaner but still good.

Loved the garden and both Mat and Michelle we always arpund to give advice and help. Excellent spot for accessing the bars and restaurants by foot. Lots of Tsitikamma adventures around so there is always something to do. Shared bathroom facilities and access to outdoor and indoor kitchens. Tent was very spacious and comfortable. Comfy bed.

Noise from other guests at night and early morning disturbed our sleep, but think we were just unlucky with them.

It was quite I enjoy the sound of the earth.

Although in town, the premises and accomodation is classy, with a forest feel. Friendly staff who welcomes all guests and makes it a home away from home..Will surely be staying over again.

The owner ignored us flat when we walked and later came to apologize cos she ‘didn’t see us ‘ we were right infront of her before she went to the kitchen. The rooms could be better ventilated

The hostel feels very homey and comfortable. They offer coffee and tea free of charge and meals at an affordable price. The hosts were pleasant and very helpful. The facility includes a very good braai are and a spatious sitting area next to it. Our host helped us with the ride to the Tsitsikama national park. Beds were comfortable and clean.

It wpuld be nice to have more power outlets in the room for each bed.

Lovely place! Very accommodating staff! They do shuttle transfers to the Forrest if you need then for a great price. Super kind and good food

The guests in the cabin next to ours woke up at 4 am and were talking so loudly. They woke us up and it kept talking until 6 am - it sounded like they were literally in our tent it was so loud. Apart from inconsiderate neighbors- the place was beautiful

Wir waren zwei Nächte hier und haben ein Zelt gebucht. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und bieten verschiedene Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten an, da ist für jeden was dabei. Ruhige Lage, Restaurants in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Zum Tsitsikamma National Park ist es ebenfalls nicht weit, im Prinzip eine Autobahnausfahrt weiter. Haben spontan Frühstück dazu gebucht, kein Problem. Es gibt einen Gemeinschaftsraum, wo man Billiard und Dart spielen kann. Eine grosse Aussenküche zur Selbstverpflegung ist ebenfalls vorhanden.

From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. We were welcomed like family, greeted with big smiles that set the tone for our stay. • Loved that firewood was available on-site. • Bathrooms were spotless and well-maintained. • The kitchen boma area had such a cozy ambience with fairy lights, all the necessary cutlery, and even a fridge. • The tents were comfortable and made for a restful stay. • The cake was absolutely amazing! • Enjoyed the pool table and the indoor fireplace at reception, which added a lovely social touch. Overall, it was a warm, welcoming experience with thoughtful details that made the stay memorable.

We were a big group occupying five tents, so moving into the boma worked perfectly for us—it almost felt like we took it over. However, if you’re only booking one tent, the shared boma area might feel a bit crowded at times.
