We loved the old implements, the amazing garden and the fact that it was exactly where we wanted to be. Loved every second we spent here!

There was nothing we didn’t like. Everything was fantastic!

Room was nice and spacious. The common area was really fun and we enjoyed playing with the board games. Staff was really nice and prepared us a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Location is spectacular, walking distance to all restaurants and pubs. A lot of adventurous activities in the area as well.

Great home-made breakfast. Comfortable room. Very nice location with some dinner options around.

Central location and close to all the restaurants and bars. Excellent staff in particular Rita who was a font of information and very caring as my wife was not feeling 100%. An authentic atmosphere and very tranquil.

Could do with a little attention to the general appearance of the property and the interior of the rooms.

I previously stayed at this establishment a couple of years ago and had a very positive experience, including clean, modern family rooms and a good breakfast that was included in the rate. Based on that experience, I chose to book in here again. Unfortunately, this recent stay was extremely disappointing. The rooms I was allocated this time (Yellowood and Sunshine) or something were in very poor condition. They had damaged and outdated cupboards visible at the entrance, an unpleasant musty smell, and old carpets. The bedding and décor were also worn and unappealing, making the rooms feel neglected and uncomfortable. In contrast to my previous stay, these rooms felt poorly maintained and far below the standard I expected. In addition, the price of R220 per person, for breakfast, is excessive considering the condition of the rooms. On my previous visit, breakfast was included in the rate, which made the value for money far better than what was offered this time. The only positive aspect of my stay was the friendly and helpful staff member at check-in. Unfortunately, this was not enough to compensate for the poor room quality and overall experience. I regret to say that, based on this visit, I will not be booking at this establishment again unless significant improvements are made.

Location was perfect. Love that we could walk to the black water tubing and conveniently restaurants as well.

The rooms need a renovation. The unit we stayed before with the kitchen and living room was new and very comfortable. The rooms we stay now was a bit out dated. But clean and comfortable still.

Our unit, The "Otter" is priced as a Family Room but should be for backpackers. Surprizingly had 2 bathrooms but both was dirty and in serious need of maintenance and paint. The shower does not drain properly and is very slippery. The towels were old and ragged. No fitted sheet on beds, only bed sheets. Old worn out pillows. The carpet was dirty. The whole room was covered in dust. No fridge, no glasses or any cutlery. The curtains were poorly hanged. The room is dark and musty with a view of the washing line. We didn't opt for the breakfast because we could get a full English breakfast for half the price acroos the road. The communal kitchen appliances were old and dirty. Old scraped and burnt pans with no utencils. Tin plates and mugs. Dirty dishes in the basin. The couches were old and needed reupholstering. The braai was used as a community ash tray

Sehr nettes Personal. Frühstück ist gut und in der Umgebung sind fußläufig mehrere Restaurants. Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach und etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

We stayed here as a group of three and had a pleasant experience. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and well equipped with the basics we needed. Check-in was easy and the space worked well for our stay. Overall a good choice and good value for money.

Beautiful Garden and very friendly and helpfull stuff during the day. Breakfast was good. the lodge is very good located. Restaurants and small shops in close walking distance.

The room smelled weird. Wooden Toilette seat was more than used and broke. Super unhygienic. what does it cost to change it into a plastic seat? The night was horrible, guests were partying till 2 am infront of the rooms. We were with our Baby and couldn‘t sleep. No security/stuff who cared. We had to tell them to be quiet but didn’t help. The fridge in the shared kitchen is very dirty and unhygienic. The expirience was more like a party-Hostel stay, but for too much money.

Kids loved the chess board, games at the entertainment area. Location was perfect, could walk to at least 6 restaurants in the area. Really prime location

Wifi not the best. Showers would go either on hot or cold. No microwave or fridge the rooms. Communal fridge was packed. Only given 1 set of towels on arrival, no fresh towels were provided after.

Good clean accommodation in the centre of the village. Very close to all adventure activities. The room was comfortable and had all amenities required.

Wir hatten das Zimmer neben dem Frühstückssaal, war eher ein wenig laut am Morgen dadurch.

Das Fruehstueck war sehr gut. Es gibt viele Aktivitaeten im Tsitsikamma National Park.

Very friendly staff, our hostess Rita was lovely and so was Tony the cat. The location is great and it was ideal for our walking tour purpose. Restaurants nearby and a very safe feeling in the vicinity. Breakfast was great.

The bathroom is a bit dated but we had two so hey no complaining! That was a real plus

Sehr gute Lage, man kann in einem kleinen Laden einkaufen, spazieren gehen, joggen. Restaurants hat es. Man ist mit dem Auto schnell im Tsitsikamma und beim Big Tree.

Nähe zum Nationalpark und anderen Stationen für Unternehmungen

Zugänglichkeit der Zimmer vom Parkplatz aus gestaltet sich sehr schwierig da kein Weg vorhanden ist der mit schweren Koffern ohne große Umstände zu bewältigen ist.

A wonderful accommodation in an idyllic location in Storms River. The rooms are very clean and come with an electric blanket, which is very cozy after a hike. The hosts are lovely people and extremely helpful. I felt very comfortable during my stay and would recommend this place to anyone visiting Storms River.

The room itself, is very outdated (does not look like the advertised photos). We got some stains on the sheets and old towels. In the bathroom there was a sewer smell coming from the shower. Waterpressure of the sink was low

Die Gemeinschaftküche ist nicht gut ausgestattet und lädt nicht unbedingt zum kochen ein. Zimmer sind wie auf den Fotos erkennbar eher einfach.

Hospedagem simples mas extremamente bem cuidada. Fica em uma Vila muito simples e calma e tem um mercadinho ao lado. Possui um jardim muito bonito e area comum para utilizar. Escolhemos a hospedagem pela proximidade com o Tsitsikamma National Park e foi muito bom, porque está realmente muito próximo! Uma gatinha muito fofa chamada Andy é parte do staff e achei muito legal que ao chegar fomos muito bem recepcionados e recebemos um whatsapp com todas as informacoes que eram necessarias. Wi Fi funciona bem e o café da manhã é simples porem satisfatório!

Unico ponto que poderia melhorar é o acesso as tomadas. Tivemos dificuldade para acessar as tomadas de energia que ficavam atras dos moveis.

We had a lovely overnight stay to break our long trip. The lodge was central & the staff very friendly. Parking is available on the grounds, and the breakfast was very good.

All staff super friendly especially the lady at reception and Andy, the boss cat 🐈. Beds super comfortable and extra warm with electric blanket.
