Astar Hotel Bukit Bintang

The property location is central to Bukit Bintang. The MRT station is mere minutes from it. All the necessities were cared for, e.g. soap, towels, water.

The walls are extremely thin. You can hear everything happening in the surrounding rooms and hallway, as well as the streets outside. The toilet paper is extremely thin and I once had just enough of it to get my business done. I could hear staff pushing their cart through the hallway, loudly laughing, yelling, and slamming doors in the middle of the night! Children crying, screaming, and running through the hallway were also a constant thing throughout my stay.

Its located in centre of bukit bingtang so its too noisy if u want to sleep early.. secondly their water heater is also not giving proper hot water receptist morning guy on reception was totally rude when i made payment through card he charged me 14 Ringgit more i don't know why

Great Location. It is within walking distance of the major shopping centres. There are so many choice of food places. If you like crowds then this location is lively with lots of people on the streets.

The basic room was too small for couples. We blocked the door when we have to open our luggage. So we have to move the luggage whenever we have to open the door. So, we have to upgrade to a bigger room to avoid the said inconvenience.

Hotelnya sangat strategis. lokasinya yang berada di Bukit Bintang, salah satu tourist attraction di KL membuat saya jadi bisa explore area Bukit Bintang hanya dengan jalan kaki. Kamarnya juga bersih. Untuk ukurannya tidak terlalu besar tapi juga tidak terlalu kecil. Sangat nyaman menginap disini. Sangat recommended buat yang mau berkunjung ke Kuala Lumpur.

Location

Very small room with no window. But the most important is that the outlets in the room didn’t provide any electricity and we couldn’t charge any of our devices. Only one outlet was working but the fridge was plugged in that so we had to choose between plugging our phones/laptop or having cold water during the hot weather of KL. The staff was informed about the issue but they didn’t do much about it

Astar Hotel Bukit Bintang is close to the places we want to visit.

Because this hotel is very close to the crowd, the crowd and noise can be heard until dawn.

Room is ok.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I understand it’s a 3-star hotel, but I have stayed in many 3-star hotels before, and they were all fine and worth the money. Your staff member from Pakistan was not friendly during check-in. He assigned me to the lowest floor, and the room condition was terrible. When I entered, I even found a cockroach. I immediately went to the female receptionist, and she kindly reassigned me to Level 3. However, when I asked the same staff member earlier, he told me that the upper floors were full. This shows that he was not being honest. Lastly, early in the morning, I was awakened by loud noises coming from nearby rooms. When I opened my door, I saw that the housekeeping staff were cleaning and making a lot of noise, showing no respect for guests who were still sleeping. Please look into this matter and advise me accordingly. I would like an explanation and a response. Regards, Asyraf

Die Lage ist gut.

Zimmer ist sehr sehr sehr klein. Das Bad schimmelt und wird nicht trocken. Wir hatten eine Kakerlake im Bad. Die Treppe ist so vollgestellt, dass ein Durchkommen kaum möglich ist. Für eine Nacht okay, aber nicht länger.

The staff is very nice and polite

Solo travellers should keep away from family rooms. If there are possibilities. Next my room family with kids get up early when kids are crying and shouting. Can't rest properly. Check out time sharp 12.00 noon. Power cuts off the room on time. Make sure some one stays there ready at sharp 12.00 noon.

The location was convenient. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Very small room, no window/ventilation, no space for clothes. No hot water in sink or toilet. Constant noise from electrical box and very thin walls. Poor quality doors, not soundproof, felt unsafe. Check-in staff was not honest about fragrance-free request.

Terdapat banyak kerosakan , 2 plug untuk hairdryer rosak tak boleh guna .. Then board letak phone patah senget , macam tak worth it untuk bayar . Lagi 1 , staff bising nak tidur tak boleh . Baling barang seperti kaca kuat waktu pagi masa kami tidur , sangat sangat terganggu ya !! Tolong check bilik anda sebelum beri pada customer ..

It cost rm10 for 1 extra pillow. First time experiencing this kind of thing. And its non refundable. Its not like im going to bring back the pillow. No chair in the room

Las habitaciones sin ventana son como las de una cárcel, no te cabe ni la maleta abierta en el suelo, las paredes de papel, escuchas con perfección una conversación de la habitación de al lado, nos cambiamos a una habitación con ventana pagando el suplemento y la ventana estaba rota no tenia el picaporte para poder cerrarla. Es barato, y entiendo que no haya lujos, pero unos mínimos…

Dear Manager, I am writing this letter to expressed my disappointment and would seek for a reimbursement of the money paid in advance for the room night for 16 Aug 2025 as the result of the grievance expressed as follows:- 1. The booking was for a Deluxe King Room for two days (15, and 16 Aug 2025). 2. When I checked in at approximately 8pm on 15 Aug 2025 I was asked to pay for two days in advance at the counter. 3. When I checked in the room (Rm 408) 4. I was surprised to find that the room had no windows, the bed was tugged in a corner with no way to go to the other side, and there were no chairs. 5. I felt short changed and lodged a complaint at the front desk. 6. I also told the front desk staff at 11pm that I would like to leave the hotel at 11am on 16 Aug 2025 as I felt disappointed. On 16 Aug 2025 at 11am I left the hotel and requested for a reimbursement for the room night for 16 Aug 2025 which was paid in advance. 7. The staff said that he would check and let me know. I reminded the staff when I checked out on 16 Aug 2025 that I would want to have reimbursement for the room night paid in advance.

The hotel is located in a very good area, lively and colorful with outdoor food markets and authentic street food, next to a metro station. It was clean and comfortable. I think it is a good case of budget accommodation in Kuala Lumpur.

great location, close to everything (food, shopping, transport) room was clean

paid for a room with a city view, it was a brick wall (see pic) asked for a large bed, got a single when i brought up the room to staff, they said they had 'run out of rooms with a view' even though i booked way in advance. couldn't get a refund i stayed 1 night on a weekend and it was loud with music playing at all hours in the morning

- Inside the Room found spider - insufficient Towel supply for the next day replacement. - Noisy ! 1-3 am staff talking without controlling the volume. - no single chair for luggage 🛅.

Hidden charges included. Room very noisy. Unable to sleep you hear other door even if some one walk bear foot.

I requested a quiet room but it seems they did not read my request. You can hear the music from the establishments outside until 2 AM. Water pressure (Shower) is low.

La ubicación, está en una calle concurrida, con muchos locales y el metro y monorail a 3 minutos

La habitación en general no estaba muy limpia, había restos de suciedad junto a la cama y mesilla, la nevera olía a podrido y una de las ventanas no tenía ni manillar para cerrarla. Pero lo peor sin duda son los conciertos callejeros nocturnos que se forman en la puerta, deleitando tus oídos con clásicos del pop/rock internacional…incluso se atrevían con el Waka Waka! había leído comentarios pero la realidad lo supera, se escucha absolutamente todo: los coches, la gente y la música como si estuvieran en tu habitación. Si no tienes tapones olvídate de dormir, al menos en las habitaciones que dan a la calle.

The location is very convenient. It's in the heart of Bukit bintang. Most of the tourist famous places are in walking distance. Very close to Jalan alor. Very happening place with lots of food and festivity.

The lift is too small. The room we stayed had no window. Also, they kept RM 50 as a security deposit during check-in. Moreover, they take extra charge if you pay through card.
