Ogólnie było ok
Brak
She was very understandable and caring, she understood all of our problems and helped us alot. Naura the caretaker helped us made breakfast and cleaned the rooms everyday really nicely
One The the AC was very slow and when we needed it because of the weather, one of the bathrooms did smell a little but it wasn't a major problem.
Très belle
Good location, good breakfast service, nice patio, each sleeping room has own bathroom, good contact with the owner
Bit overused, odour at entrance, no windows in sleeping room, broken shower set
We had the privacy
The street outside is a bit rough
The location is nearby the Souk and convenient. Host attend to immediate request. Easy self check in. Washing machine works on rooftop. Housekeeper Noura was nice to serve the breakfast.
The AC in one of the room does not work. Took a while for the host to fix it. The toilets a bit smelly. Could have improve the amenities. The bed sheet is partially clean. Some of friend get itchy body the next day.
Location and how clean it was.
We loved everything about the property
Fantastic location. On a busy street but quiet once inside. The Riad is very spacious and contact from Riad was prompt and very helpful. We had our arrival dinner in the Riad and it was the best meal we had during the whole trip. The house maid was very nice and let us have our privacy. All bedrooms were en-suite.the Riad was kept very clean during our stay. Felt very safe
The mattresses were hard, which is difficult to sleep in if you’re not used to such hard mattresses. Birds are able to enter the Riad through gaps in the roof. This did disrupt our sleep first night but we did get used to the early bird songs. Showers not great for hot water. Took a while to get them at a right temperature. Not much space in bedrooms for clothes and belongings
Everything was great, but the most pleasant surprise was Noura, the lady who came every morning to prepare breakfast for us, and to clean. She was exceptionally kind and helpful.
The area is a bit rough, but everywhere inside the Medina is like that
Me gustó todo: ubicación, limpieza, habitaciones, zona común, temperatura, desayuno.
Good location and breakfast
Smells bad, everything feels old, requires renovation.
We had an excellent time in Riad Majdoulina. You get the whole house to yourself with clean and very lovely rooms. We had a very comfortable stay and really enjoyed the cooked breakfasts! The riad was easy enough to find and instructions to get in were communicated clearly beforehand. It was in a good location, quiet at night and a 10-15 minute walk to get to the main souks.
The door was slightly tricky to lock and unlock, but manageable.
Calme au cœur de la médina
Logement authentique Cuisine marocaine excellente
Lokalizacja świetna, blisko do każdego punktu miasta (autobus, bazary, muzea, restauracje itp.).
Nie mogę się do niczego przyczepić.
The riad is in a convenient location and it's very quiet at night. Noura, the woman who looks after the place and prepares breakfast is wonderful.
The front door look is difficult to work. It is often difficult to get the key out.
We loved the location, the house was spacious and comfortable, each bedroom had its own shower which was convenient, we loved the decoration, it was an amazing experience
It was a local food, we could taste many things.
A little monotone.
Niets.
Nice riad, very spacious with a lovely housekeeper Nora.
The aircon in one of the bedrooms was a bit temperament.
The property provided 3 double bedrooms with on suite bathrooms. All the rooms had air conditioning (needed during a hot summer). The property was nicely decorated, quiet and clean. A friendly lady called Noura came in every day to make us breakfast and clean.
The property would benefit from having a more visible sign - we walked past the property on arrival and were helped to find it by a friendly local security guard. If staying out past 22:00 I would recommend taking the door keys with you rather than leaving them in the key box as the local shop keepers close the security gate and you are not able to reach the key box when this is closed. Luckily one of the shop keepers still around had a key to the security gate to let us in.
Our stay here was fantastic, super central Marrakech and the souk markets, spacious and comfortable, each room had an ensuite and aircon. Breakfast was very carefully made by Nora each morning, we had something handmade and different each day - delicious! The restaurants surrounding the property were lovely, and you felt very safe at night. I would recommend booking a transfer from the airport directly with Chez Majdoulina as if your taxi driver did not know the location of the riad I would imagine it would be difficult to find.
The outdoor pictures currently on booking.com are not how the outdoor space was during our stay. There was no sun loungers, no shades over the table and there is a lack of lights in the seating/table area when sat out at night.
It was a spacious property , in a good area ,with nearby shops luvly to av our own bathroom in our room Our luvly maid made a good breakfast for us She was helpful n kept our rooms nice Would defo stay at this Riad again
Would uv liked an ironing board , we had iron but no board, n would uv liked a secure safety deposit box
This was our favourite accommodation of the six places we stayed in Morocco. It is a lovely house the within five minutes walk to the old medina, but on a type of ring road which escapes the craziness of staying inside the medina. It is a fantastic escape from the noise and hustle of the city. The private rooftop area is fantastic, and has a large table with chairs. The three bedrooms are all en-suite, and are beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable , and there were heavy blankets provided as the December nights were cold. Hot water on demand, which we found is not the norm in a lot of places in Morocco. The lady named Nora who meets you to give the keys is so lovely. She came in the morning to cook the breakfast, and made delicious omelette and Moroccan bread, and was a pleasure to chat with. The breakfast had two types of bread, tea, orange juice, yoghurt, and fruit. Would definitely return to stay here again. We preferred it to staying in a hotel-type riad because though it has a similar layout to a riad, you have complete privacy and the noise doesn’t carry as in a riad where there are other guests. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you need.
Nothing, everything was fantastic!
I use a mobility walker, there are 2 double bedrooms upstairs with en-suite and my bedroom was downstairs also with en-suite . It was extremely clean and the breakfast was lovely with home made breads etc. Transport from and to airport was organised through host of Riad and arrived on time. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
Didn’t have any negatives
The property is located in the old city - in the Medina district of Marrakesh. If someone likes this type of location, then the location of the property is excellent. Unfortunately, the Medina will not seem to be an attractive place for tourists who value cleanliness and lack of hustle and bustle. From a certain point of view, this apartment was the best place in the Medina. The lady serving was very polite and considerate.
Very hot water in the shower.
Great location and no problem with arrival and storing luggage at end of stay.
It is a little 'old' in parts, eg worn carpet/holes, shower curtain needs changing etc. Breakfast was only bread, juice and tea but we bought eggs the next day and they kindly cooked them for us.
We had an absolutely exceptional experience at this riad in Marrakech! The accommodation was flawless, exactly as described on Booking, but even more beautiful and enjoyable in reality. From the traditional architecture and authentic Moroccan decor to the cleanliness and comfort, everything was perfect. The rooms are well-maintained and tastefully decorated, and the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The host was extraordinary, a true example of Moroccan hospitality. We were warmly welcomed and offered all the support needed to have a delightful stay. Communication was excellent, and the attention to detail and the host's effort to make us feel at home were remarkable. Additionally, they connected us with a tour organizer at very reasonable prices, which allowed us to explore spectacular nearby locations without any worries. I wholeheartedly recommend this riad to anyone looking for an authentic, high-quality experience in Marrakech. It is the perfect combination of traditional charm and modern comfort, and the host makes it even more special. Thank you for turning a simple accommodation into an unforgettable experience!!!!
The Housekeeper, Hannah (spelling might be incorrect), went above and beyond to learn about our needs and expectation on service. She delivered high level of care and hospitality in a subtle way that helped us feel welcomed and at ease, even within the first few hours of arrival. Hannah deserved lots of praise and recognition for her excellent attention to details of a diverse client group and needs of family travellers.
Location.
The host and Rashida are extremely professionals
3 very comfortable rooms, all double beds, each with en-suite, very clean sink, shower & toilet. Delightful layout with central atrium and beautifully decorated. Even a little bird kept us company & sang to us in the morning! Lovely rooftop terrace. Amazing breakfast provided for 5 euros each. Extremely helpful & friendly owner & the lady who cooked the breakfast for us. Let us leave our cases all day after checkout till we collected them in time for our evening flight.
Couldn’t work out how to get hot water in one of the showers. Another bathroom had drain smell after a shower. Was fine for us as our family were the only ones staying so we could use each other’s bathrooms.
Nice location. Nice place.
Simply lovely and nice accommodation.
None. Maybe booking.com should allow the user to pay for local tax beforehand.
This was perfect for our first night in Morocco. We had a long days travelling and were all very tired on arrival. The accommodation was quiet and very clean and was close to everything we needed for the night. It was not to far to walk to the bus station for the next leg of our journey. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
We had some difficulty with locking and unlocking the main door to the property
The breakfast was very good the lady arrived an hour earlier and had everything ready for the time we had agreed.
The location was perfect. In 15 minutes we were on the main plaza. We had the Riad for the group (we had the 3 bedrooms). Nice kitchen en friendly staff.
The beda are a bit short. My boyfriend is tall en his feet did not fit inside the bed. The rest was perfect.
Good location close to the medina and nice to have whole riad to ourselves with kitchen and washing facilities
Showers had very low pressure Linen and towels were quite old and thin Rooms are small
Excellent breakfast. Great location
Had difficulty locking and unlocking doors. Front door and grill especially. Recommend that the three keys given should be separately marked.
The Riad was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location is excellent. By far the best place I stayed at in Morocco.
Nothing
Great Riad, beautifully decorated. Well laid out. Very clean
Hard to find fault, but the sofa bed was not great, (maybe they could have a clic clac, or camp bed. The showerheads seemed cheap when compared to the rest of the fittings.
Excellent location inside the medina, everything was within a short walk's distance. Good restaurants and bars just next door, as well as a lovely co-working space. The interior was fantastic, we truly enjoyed the center courtyard / community space as well as the dining area on the rooftop. The three rooms have three different types of beds so everyone can find one suited for their back :) The property was spotless and well maintained, and surprisingly quiet, despite being near the market and a mosque and having an open air roof design.
The only thing we did not like was the gentleman who handed the keys over to us upon arrival. He tried to sell us EVERYTHING. Camel rides, argan oil, quad treks, 4x4 desert tours, taxi rides, guided tours, private car with a chauffeur, even tried to pull the old "buy this antique Berber carpet just for $$$, you can sell it for 4x $$$ at home" trick. This made us very uncomfortable, we repeatedly said no thank you, but he was quite persistent and became visibly agitated. After getting the keys he lingered around for another 10-15 minutes before leaving us. I understand you have to make a living from the tourism but please don't be so pushy.
Excellent location, and great host
Location is great! The bed was very comfortable and room was clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Good and tasty breakfast. Nice place!
Great location
The bed
Location: in medina, but less then 10 min walking to the hustle and bustle of stalls and street vendors. A quiet neighbourhood. Tasty and big breakfast. Everything is clean. Nice staff (Rachid) really helpfull. They can organise taxi from/to the airport for you, as well as trips to the desert (after that we did't try to find another travel agency in the city).
Tiny room.
The location was perfect, the breakfast and way we were looked after by the housekeeper was lovely.
We booked the property on the understanding that we had 'sole' retal, however, there is a man living there which made us uncomfortable (he seemed ok - but we didn't expect this, and we don't know why he was living there???). The property states it has a number of facilities such as tv which it doesn't. We woudn't book again.
