The Varr restaurant ambience, the uniform of the staff, their pleasant greeting, hospitality all matched the spirit of the place. The food was excellent and very homely. I would recommend everyone to experience their service .

the restaurant thali is a highlight of temple food. Offer of different pillows in room was novel though we did not try it.

the hotel is nowhere near Ganga kinare .the only view is of the road and the room did not have any balcony or windows. it is not opposite to its sister property Ganga kinare which is actually on the river front. we went to Ganga kinare for lunch twice. Service is extremely delayed and the food was many times not available or served to the wrong table....that too after 1 to 1.40 hours..and then we were told it had finished.

The staff was absolutely amazing. They were very friendly, professional and most of all very accommodating.

Best value in Rishikesh for a luxury experience! The restaurant is the best meal I have had in all of India and features temple foods from all over the country. Sattvic preparation of food is incredible and healthy. We loved the private ghat and ganga arati at the sister property across the street. Fantastic hospitality and experience overall.

Food was delicious

The bed felt very cheap and was uncomfortable. Lots of big springs, bouncy, and not much padding.

Very comfortable room, super clean and modern. Very helpful staff. It's better than in the photos. Also, sound isolation is good, no noise from the street and excellent WiFi connection.

It's not worth ordering the food. For me the dinner starting at 8pm was way too late and the breakfast was not very good, meaning serving not "breakfast" food like soups.

It was a good property on a main road , very near to Ganga ji , have there own Ganga snan ghar , 2 time Ganga Arti by Pandit ji , it was a great experience

O Hotel tem boas condições, as suas instalações são modernas. A localização é bastante distante do centro de Rishikesh, apesar de estar próximo do Rio Ganges.

Os quartos onde ficamos instalados tinha um barulho permanente de canalização do ar condicionado que tornou as noites insuportáveis. Os funcionários foram muito simpáticos e mudaram-nos o quarto, mas o problema manteve-se. O pequeno almoço pode ser muito melhorado.

Well positioned and reasonably quiet with amazing views and very friendly team.

Never got to try the Spa but as it was situated in the basement it didn’t really worry me.

Breakfast quality was good but the spread limited

From the amazing warm welcome on checking, being created by garland and blessings and throughout the entire 4 days stay the service the warmth did not stop. I have to specially thank Vidhya who always greeted me with a smile and asked about my outing, she went out of her way to help me with rickshaw on my first day when I was so anxious to step out alone. The whole front staff team were always welcoming and friendly. Food at Varr Food is genuinely soul healing and authentic. I had Thali and everything thing was explained to me which made the experience that much more amazing. I don't have a huge appetite so was worried about wastage but they serve you the amount you want which was perfect from me. There was sooooo much food variety. I had breakfast included in my rate and there was buffet, limited items but it was more than enough to enjoy for me. You must try the Ragi Dosa which is included in breakfast but order separately. The Masala Idli was so tasty. I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Veer and he gave me great advice of visiting Virbadhra Mahadev Mandir not far from hotel. It was a pleasure speaking to him and I appreciated he took the time out to speak to me. The restaurant staff were always welcoming and attentive. Hotel I had a superior double room with balcony on 1st floor. The room was great for a solo traveller and probably for a couple too. Bathroom was perfect for western needs and well replenished. Clean and comfortable bed and pillows. I was accommodated with iron and board at no cost and it arrived promptly after requesting. For me addition of having a Mandir few rooms down was just amazing as I'm Radha Krsna Bhakt. I even was blessed to do Aarti one morning there. I had a pleasant conversation with Acharaya Rahul Bhatt who was doing Aarti. When ever I needed water or bathroom replenished the team were prompt and very accommodating. Calling reception was easy and informative every time.

Hot water was an issue. It was always lukewarm or on the cool side. Thankfully it was warm so it was ok.

Dinner and Breakfast served was Par Excellent Welcome drink and thr way they welcomes and sent us away was heart warming. But they gave us excess to have Aarti Darshan near Ganga from their sister property.

The name of thr property which indicates that it is 150 mts away from ghat

Staff were really nice especially receptionist staff. Kanchan was very helpful at giving advice and we particularly liked the care that was put into managing our concerns. The gulab collection was an interesting touch with ganges water to take away. Very well thought out. Loving move by the owners. I took the dip in the sister hotel and thought it was very private and the security staff was attentive to ensure safety. Beautiful location for the dip too. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

There was slight heat in the kitchen staff between themselves, which was difficult to ignore during breakfast.

Overall was very good. I liked the thali dinner too. Appreciate the Ganga river water kept in a nice bottle when check out.

Breakfast was awesome and the lady at the reception was amazing and super helpful to help us with any request and also helped set up our tour for Rajaji National Park last minute. Very much appreciate that. Thank you!

Great sister hotel close-by where we had lunch and attended an intimate aarti at the private ghat, also a morning yoga session. Safari organised by reception- enjoyable. Room with balcony, fridge, nice bathroom, nicely serviced every day. Lovely gift on arrival and departure.

The varr restaurant is good for the food . But please change the menu if want to have dinner twice How can one person have same the things twice

Very very very over priced . Its a rs1000 hotel which the selling fot 5k . You can easily find a better hotel near by. Location is good. But very expensive .with no facilities..even the property is òld zero value for money.

The most expensive rooms are just above the National Highway which is incredibly noisy. If you are sensitive aim for the cheaper options.

Location is Good on the road side and good for family interested in Triveni Ghat Aarti as it is like 1.5 km from property , from Ram jhula 15-20 minueted and 30 minutes to Laxman jhula Another plus point is complementary access to Ganga Kinare resort (another property just 200 meters away from same company) which has breathtaking Ganga view , private ghat and daily Ganga maa Aarti in plus there is sports room for kids so it’s kid friendly as well , this all faculties are complimentary for Holy water guests I liked the hospitality the welcome (where they give you holy beads and do tilak and also give you holy and pure gangajal when on check out ) Breakfast diner awesome taste without garlic and onion simply the best Satvik food , breakfast has lot of items covering south-north Indian cuisines , plus the western (oats, cornflakes , muesli,etc) My special thanks to the whole team and specially “Rekha” for doing wonder-full decorations for my kid birthday and for the cake , the whole staff was very supportive thanks

Amazing hospitable family for our spiritual retreat. Kanchan from the front desk really organized our stay. Varr the restaurant had the best food in Rishikesh. We had most of our meals here.

It was a little away from city center

Rooms are good, family room is quite big with outside view. Hotel is new so quite maintained.

Mattress were too soft, not comfortable at all specially for elders & guest having back issues.. we requested hotel staff to do some alternative arrangements but unfortunately they couldn’t do anything. Breakfast starts at 8:00 am which is very late for many guest & even after request they were quite rigid about the timing.

After Aarti at ganga kinare hotel, Tea is not complimentary for holywater guests. That's not good.

The street from the hotel to its affiliated larger hotel Ganga Kinare could be made a bit cleaner and more friendly for tourists.

Holy Water By Ganga Kinare is a good hotel but little bit costly...holy water is just a hotel without any other service so if u need any other service you have to visit there other property which is around 200meter away..But you can enjoy the private ghat and holy dip there..so this is the bonus point..they will provide you towel and a guard will be there to assist you and help you in case of any problem.

My daughter is a big foodie so she didnt enjoyed the breakfast menu...as it was simple with very few option and the problem is they dont change the menu..so if u stay for 3 days you will eat the same breakfast daily.. Breakfast Menu :- Brown Bread and White Bread with jam or butter. Dosa and idli with sambar and chutney. No Egg or any other such thing will be there..

So called themed temple food.. Not palatable. For Ganga Aarti & dip.. We need to walk across the road 200metres & go to another hotel by same group called.. Ganga Kinare. Try to get room in that hotel(Ganga Kinare) if you are interested in private ghat & Ganga Aarti.
