Su estacionamiento privado queda a una cuadra. Puedes estacionarte en la calle y no pasa nada, pero queda frente a una avenida. Me quedaría mil veces más, pero ojalá puedan adquirir un estacionamiento cerca.

The privacy of each of the units, low noise and with ina short uber ride from restaurants or shops.

Not able to have a visitors for short periods.

People outside our which is the side of the people were so noisy shouting and drunk that disturb our sleeping. But after they left we were able to sleep, i should have rented the patio that is not near the pool.

It was a very spacious and cozy space. I liked that it had a kitchen, dining room, and living room area. The two bedrooms were comfortable enough for 2 people each, and the balcony space was also nice to have. The staff was very communicative and friendly and were understanding when it came to our travel complications. They made sure to let us know how to access the property with enough time before arriving.

The pool was right outside one of the bedroom windows and one night there were guests in there kind of late. It wasn't really a big issue, but I could hear them through my window.

El Patio Elba es un remanso de paz que invita al descanso, además de la calidad y calidez del personal siempre dispuesto a orientar y ayudar. Un lugar seguro con buen diseño, super limpio y bien ubicado. En las cercanías pudimos explorar muchos pequeños restaurantes y cafés con conceptos muy únicos. Lamentamos no haber traído traje de baño para disfrutar del jacuzzy al final del día.

We loved the facilities everything is beautiful and modern. I liked the employees amability. That check in and check out were easy.

We didn't like much the parking area as is a bit far away is 4 minutes walking but if you are women an alone walking at night with luggage and stuff its a little complicated and dangerous. And a bit expensive for two nights.

This was a very centric place near to night life. My friends and I had a good time.

Only thing we were worried about was parking but other than that this place is absolutely beautiful on both the inside and outside.

Deberían prestar más atención a la limpieza de las áreas exteriores tanto piscina como jacuzzi. También estar muy al tanto de que tipo de persona entra como huésped. En general fue bueno, la chica de recepción muy atenta u comunicativa.

Booked from 8/28-8/30 based on the listing photos & reviews. Unfortunately I didn’t check the negative reviews as they would have saved me from having to deal with this place. Let’s start off with parking. It is advertised that parking is local off site - I believe when I complained they claimed 600 ft away, yeah that’s not true at all. Over two blocks up & one down in an unlit lot that looks abandoned. To make that matter worse, pin provided to enter the lot didn’t even work. The “hotel” itself, and I use that word lightly, is NOT a hotel at all. It is a renovated house/building sitting next to a rundown property with people roaming freely. Yes! People under the influence roaming freely. I took videos of two who were walking straight into the street and near my car while I sat outside this property arguing for a refund. They continued to say the area was safe which I explained what one person is comfortable with does not mean that’s the actuality of the situation. The listing is a huge misrepresentation. They ultimately refused to refund me & it took my legal threats to get one night back from them while they kept the rest of my reservation & parking fee. I ended up having to handle it with Expedia for over 24hrs & book another hotel as we had no where to stay. Cherry on top, they charged me for my stay again after I asked for a refund and when I reported that to Expedia lied about it being accidental when I paid for parking. Stay away from here!!!

Roomy apartment satisfying our needs for three separate rooms and beds. Not an easy find in PR. Clean bathroom with two sinks and multiple towels, hotel quality white and fluffy. Comfortable beds, air cons in every room, blackout curtains.

The neighborhood looked a little sketchy. The communication with the property wasn’t very easy. It was only possible through booking messenger , sometimes we waited long for an answer. The phone was disconnected. The soundproofing wasn’t the greatest. I woke up at 2 am to the sounds of neighbors turning the tv. The floors looked a little worn down, I initially thought it was an old linoleum with patched holes. In the day light I realized it was old ceramic tiles , which is much better and more hygienic than the linoleum. Just not the best esthetic look, making the apartment look faded and heavily used. It didn’t make our stay any different, obviously. All in all it was a good experience

I had a wonderful stay at Patio Elba. The hotel has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with beautiful details that make it feel both stylish and comfortable. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and well-equipped, and I especially appreciated the attention to small touches that made the stay feel special. I was only in Puerto Rico for a night, but SO GLAD I booked my stay at Patio Elba. The hotel is very close to Coliseo de Puerto Rico which is why I was in town. As soon as I booked with them, they were always very communicative over text and emails. I arrived at the hotel around 12:30PM and they were able to accommodate early check-in. The lady I spoke with at the front desk was very kind and gave me some travel tips about the surrounding area. I got a heads up to not wander too much outside of the hotel late at night just because we were in the city area, but I never felt unsafe during my stay here. The room itself was squeaky clean. I had a little kitchen to myself, the bathroom was great, and the bed was very comfortable. The overall space is spacious for 1 person. If you're here for a quick getaway I would definitely recommend!!

I loved how quaint and clean this property is. I stayed here with multiple family members and we all were comfortable, felt safe and had no issues at all. The staff is very friendly and were attentive to our needs. I also love how this property is a small business.

Patio Elba Boutique Hotel is truly a hidden gem. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome — their warmth and attentiveness made the stay extra special. The accommodations were both cute and comfortable, striking that perfect balance between style and coziness. The location couldn’t have been better: close enough to explore everything easily, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and relaxed. I would happily recommend Patio Elba to anyone visiting Puerto Rico and will definitely stay again on my next trip.

this stay was so simple. they walked us through every step (check in is honestly the easiest i’ve had. they text you all the codes day of!) before we even expected. we went to pr for a 7 day trip but only stayed in patio elba 2/7 & honestly i would’ve stayed all 5 nights had we stayed in san juan!! everything is so comfortable, a/c gets SO cold (which was heaven w outside being 90+ everyday), everything is clean, you have everything you need, and water pressure is even amazing. what made it even better is that it’s in the middle of everything! 787 coffee (iykyk) is a 8-10 minute walk. we unfortunately didn’t get to really use the pool or jacuzzi but just bc we stayed busy & i guess it depends on the vibe (definitely an intimate sit and chill spot if ur down) def recommend if you’re staying in san juan!

The property was exceptionally comfortable and spotless. It had the warm, welcoming feel of a home rather than a typical hotel. Our room included a private outdoor patio, which was a wonderful touch. Communication from the hotel was excellent, with clear instructions provided via text and email. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely choose it again if I return.

Location is great, specially when assisting events within the metro San Juan/ Santurce area.

We loved our stay this past weekend . This hotel was so cute and clean . Our suite was a lot bigger in person than the pictures show online . The employees were helpful and answered us immediately when we had questions . We were really just a few minutes in an uber from anywhere we were visiting . We would stay here again .

I loved the private terrace and size of the presidential suite. I also love how close it was to El Tren Urbano.

It was quite noisy because it was on a main road. The quality of the towels could have been better for the price we paid. I also didn’t appreciate that before booking I wasn’t informed that parking was an additional fee of 20.00 per night.

We stayed here for one night arriving late from the airport. It was a quick easy uber there. Easy to get in on our own. The place was very quiet & super clean. We weren’t there long but it was perfect. We also walked to a delicious restaurant on the same street for breakfast. We would stay again.

A Comfortable Stay with a Few Minor Hiccups. We had a pleasant three-night stay at Patio Elba. The room was comfortable, and the staff were responsive and helpful throughout. When we discovered there was no hot water, they addressed the issue within minutes, which we really appreciated. One thing that caught us off guard was the early check-in policy. When we arrived around 12 PM, we were told (via text) that there would be a $45 early check-in fee, even though we had previously spoken to two staff members on-site who didn’t mention this. They had only said the room wasn’t ready yet. While it wasn’t a major issue—we used the time to grab food and enjoy a walk along the beach—it would have been helpful to have that policy communicated up front. The location is a bit rough around the edges, but nothing unmanageable. We're from New York and felt safe navigating the area, even with some visible homelessness. On the bright side, there are several coffee shops and great food options nearby, and the beach is just a short scooter ride away. There were a couple of small concerns during our stay. The cold setting on the shower never truly got cold—it stayed warm regardless of the adjustment. Also, we noticed some sand on the sheets, which made us question whether they had been freshly changed. We didn’t bring it up to staff since we couldn’t be sure it wasn’t from us, but it did leave a bit of doubt. That said, the hotel overall is very well maintained and clean.

I appreciated the thoughtful care that went into making the indoor patio, greenery, and rooms beautiful. The pool and hot tub are clean and convenient. The suites are very spacious and well-equipped for small or large group travel. The shared living spaces are spacious and it had a well-equipped kitchen. It was clean, and the air conditioner worked well. In general, I loved this place because it was very centrally located to many restaurants and shopping places, all within a 10-15 minute drive. There is a cafe and 2 restaurants within walking distance <2min. I wish there were on-site parking; you have to walk about 1.5 blocks to get to the hotel. Not the best for solo female travelers. But great for group travel or 2-person trip.

We needed a place to stay for one night while in San Juan area. Found this little gem of hotel and I’m so glad we did! From the moment we booked it someone was communicating with me and everything went so smoothly. There are restaurants within walking distance and everything was very clean.

The place is beautiful and safe. The staff was amazing. help with everything we needed, always letting us know before their shift was over if we needed anything. one of their workers Luz was willing to work late just to keep our bags safe after check out so we could explore Puerto Rico a little more. Loved this place and will definitely be going back.

This place is a diamond in the rough. What a beautiful hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The area is not the typical tourist area. Everyone in the rmarea were friendly. Rooms were clean and everything in the room worked as it should. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Communication was great ! It’s right off of a busy street and there is street parking or you can pay 20 $daily to park at a lot up the street . Street noise is tolerable. Would be nice if fridge had complimentary drinks and/ or more complimentary items in the suite considering it’s a smaller hotel/stay. But overall it was nice !

This was a little gem in the city of San Juan with a relaxing and pleasant ambiance and there were several great coffee shops and a market and park nearby. It was nice to have a place to come back to that was quiet and spacious for my family of 5. We also appreciated having a small kitchen and the little pool and hot tub were great to have after a long day of walking around the Old Town.

The street is a bit busy and looks a little sketchy, but we didn't ever not feel safe as we walked to the market and coffee shops nearby everyday. The mattresses weren't the most comfortable ones ever, but they were fine.

Solo birthday trip! Property was is better than expected. The staff here is great! They waved my early check in fee because it was my birthday. The room is huge and the jacuzzi is perfect! Looking online the property was way better than expected will definitely book again! They have cameras all over the property even on the street so you are safe! I only stayed a day but regretted not booking for my entire trip. Restaurant on the corner is really good for brunch!

It was a really cute building and comfortable bed. the unit was very nice decorated and it helps if you need the divided space. I wish It would have been more accessible walking to places. overall it was great.

Where to begin… The fact that I stood on the street for 20 minutes being accosted by the homeless as the hotel was deserted at 15:00 in the afternoon and I couldn’t get in would probably be a good start. When I did get in to my windowless basement I killed two ants and a moth. Judging by the cobwebs hanging from the light, bugs frequent the room regularly. In the bathroom the toilet roll holder and towel holder were both broken. I didn’t examine the stains on the outside of the toilet bowl and just prayed they were rust. The bed was the piece de resistance. It was covered in dirt and pieces of hair (of all sorts) and very obviously hadn’t been cleaned since the last guest or perhaps several. So I shivered on top of it for the night as there was no way in hell I was getting into it. If you’re stuck for somewhere to stay in San Juan, try a park bench, it’d be preferable to the Patio Elba

I liked the coziness feel of the apartment, that it had a small kitchen, iron, blow drier & any other equipment we needed. The jacuzzi was a bonus. It was small but cute and had everything we needed.

The only downside was having to wait until 4pm to get the code for entry, we arrived a few minutes earlier and 3 of the phone numbers I was given for the property either weren’t working or no one answered, luckily the front desk man was kind enough to help us in.
