Lovely peaceful location

the location is so quiet, the rooms are glamourous and spacious. I especially liked the option of direct access to the deck from the corner room. nice big comfy armchair and the spa bath was fantastic.

the fridge seemed a little awkward to get into, but i wouldnt paint this as s negative thing.

Bathroom door could not be locked and anyway massive gaps at top and bottom where it didn’t meet the frame - about a 20cm gap top and bottom.

Staff were lovely and very helpful. Our room was large and clean. Facilities were good. Building is quirky but very nice. Breakfast was a lovely selection.

We had to cancel our booking at the last minute due to a family emergency. I rang and let them know and they were so amazingly nice about it. This would have been our 6th stay and we wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting Hamilton. We'll done The Narrows Landing!

Love the place & so grateful for the early check in due to travelling from out of town & having to get to a funeral. Very accommodating. The grounds are magnificent and I loved the quietness. Will be staying again.

The location was close to the airport which suited my requirements. Parking was not a problem. The staff were very friendly, kind and helpful as was the owner. The continental breakfast was plentiful and satisfying. There is no restaurant but there is a large fridge and a microwave to use should you want to use them. There is lots of outdoor seating if you want to relax, have a drink, read a book or go for a walk around the grounds to get some exercise or do some yoga before you start your day! The setting is beautiful with lovely natural bush, gardens and manicured lawns. I enjoyed my stay so much I cancelled my last night I had booked in a hotel in Hamilton and returned for one more night before heading down the road to catch my ✈️ home. A " big thank you" to all for making my stay so enjoyable.😊

It is not that l did not like it, but some people may have a problem, the accommodation to the second floor does not have a lift, however, they were very kind and could not have done more, going out of their way to help me.

We had just a short overnight stay at the Narrows Landing so we can't provide too many details. We arrived after dark and left very early so it was very much a fly by trip. The layout of the public areas is really nice. A bit quirky, a bit cozy, and you can tell that during the Summer with all the windows and sliding doors open it must be a really nice place to be. The breakfast was nice and it started early so we were able to grab some before going. Simple fair but enough to start the day! The rooms were nice, quirky looking, with steepled roofs and a fun (and HUGE) bathroom set up. Lots of wood. Something a little bit different and a nice change of pace from generic boring hotels.

It is right next to a highway. Even with the surrounding trees and the fact that property is a ways back it was still loud. You could hear the traffic in the room, so dont expect quiet night noises unfortunately. It's a real shame because every part of the hotel is set up to be the perfect quiet retreat. There isnt any food nearby. You can doordash (or uber? I dont remember which one we did). Lots of options although we did choose poorly. You will need a car to get anywhere else. We were exhausted so we just ordered in.

This was our 4th stay and as always we had a wonderful stay. Staff are amazing and the amenities are exceptional.

The peacefulness was just what I needed! The room so elegant from a bygone era and SO MUCH ROOM!!!!! Your staff are just glorious. So friendly and helpful. The fridges and cooking stuff out in the corridors are so great, thanks for having these. Loved curling up with a book and a hot chocolate downstairs on the couches before bed.

A Lovely, if quirky, place to stay in extensive grounds. It is very peaceful here just sitting on the veranda listening to the birdsong. There is some road noise during the day but not enough to worry about. The hosts were very helpful and the breakfasts superb. It is also very close to the famous Hamilton Gardens which are a must see place and also a peaceful riverside walk.

Nothing to dislike. Maybe some cushions for the wooden chairs on the deck but our room also had comfy loungers.

Metall-Fensterrahmen ohne Isolierung; im Haus ist es kälter als draußen; Badezimmertür nur zum Teil vorhanden; Weit vom Zentrum für das Dinner entfernt , Frühstück enttäuschend. Gepäck über mehrere Ebenen die Treppe hinauf und herunter transportiert. Auch im Zimmer gab es eine Treppe.

Hallway was alittle creaky but rooms were not creaky and were nice.

The setting and countryside outlook from the reception area was beautiful and the breakfast was excellent

The breakfast was superb. Good selection of breads fruit and cereal and especially good coffee. The bed was comfy shower water pressure good with plenty of towelling. Our hosts were super friendly and helpful

Great eclectic property, extremely clean and spacious. Not in Hamilton proper but you are only a few minutes drive away from Hamilton. Nice continental breakfast in the morning. No issues at all. Nice, quiet one night stay.

Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb an der Straße. Dadurch ist es gut zu erreichen aber man braucht definitiv ein Auto! Leider verfügt das Hotel über kein Restaurant/Bar. Somit muss man abends mit dem Auto los….

The room was good. But nothing special.

When we arrived it looked like the venue was closed.

Off the beaten path and close to Cambridge-a town we truly enjoyed spending time in.

This is a lovely place to stay, set in the bush with gardens around. The hotel is older, think more like old English homes, with wooden floors that creak, steps here, there and everywhere, and a lovely ambiance. The staff were friendly and helpful, and carried our bags up to our room when we arrived. The air-conditioning worked well, the water in the shower was warm and the flow strong, and there was a hand held shower rose. The bed was comfortable, and the room was exceptionally clean. The continental breakfast was extra nice, with a choice of fruits, cereals, toast, meat and cheese and spreads.

If you have mobility issues, and can't manage stairs, this is not the place for you to stay. There were stairs in several places, including in our room, from the bathroom into our bedroom. The location is right on the main road, and there was some road noise.

Wundervoller Ort zum Entspannen mit exzellenter Einrichtung und super freundlichen Personal. Definitiv zu empfehlen! Waren LEIDER nur eine Nacht dort.

Le charme de l hôtel sur les photos m'a décidé de réserver celui-ci. En réel, c'est encore mieux car il est au calme et dans un zone boisée style campagne avec des espaces très bien entretenus. Le personnel de l hôtel a été aux petits soins avec, que ce soit dans les réponses à nos messages comme pour l accueil et le service du pdj. J'y retournerai sans hésiter car il est vraiment au calme tout en étant à proximité d Hamilton ou de Cambridge.

Description states there may not be dinner available due Covid-19. That's well past, but still no dinner. Breakfast was continental and nice.

Sehr hellhörig. Für körperlich eingeschränkte Gäste leider nicht so geeignet, da kein Fahrstuhl vorhanden ( alle Zimmer 1. oder 2. Stock) und in dem Zimmer das wir hatten musste man 2 Stufen vom Flur in den Schlafbereich und auch 2 Stufen ins Bad.

We were very impressed with the breakfast. There was a good selection of cereal, fruit and bread and it was very well laid out. The female staff member on duty that day kept the selection replenished and cleared items very quickly.

One thing that could have improved our stay was to have music playing quietly in the reception area on arrival and also at the breakfast as there was no atmosphere.

The facility and the grounds are lovely and the location is perfect (away from hustle and bustle, but close enough to get to things). The continental breakfast was very good. The staff were wonderful—-friendly and very helpful. The room was a very nice size, and had all the amenities we needed.

The only minor downside is they did not have a restaurant for dinner. However, the staff was extremely helpful in recommending places to go—-several within a 3 minute drive, the rest about 15-17 minutes away. We went to one 3 minutes away and were very pleased.

Very thin walls! Could hear every word the people next to us were saying - especially at night. Lots of road noise. Creaky floor boards. Window above the bed without a curtain so couldn't have the room dark. Not a great sleep.

Beautiful room tucked up away from the main road, gorgeous bird life. We arrived late but arrangements were made for us to check in when we could and we were warmly welcomed.
