This is the most wonderful spot you should go to, when you are in the Tangalle area. Close to the beach, sitting calmly in the jungle and having all the luxury you would need: a jungle aesthetic little house with your own private terrace, but with european standard (which means perfect bathroom appliances, A/C, nice cotton bedlinen etc.). Sitting on the terrace and looking in the beautiful jungle garden is so relaxing and the perfect contrast to everything else you can do in the area! :) The hosts provide you with everything you could need: kayak tour or other tours/activities, taxi, perfect Sri Lankan restaurant on the property and so on. Their son greeted us with the best Sri Lankan hospitality and humor and supported us in any way. No better place to go in our opinion! :)

Really Nothing

Het is een prachtig en zeer gepassioneerd familiebedrijf. Je wordt met liefde ontvangen en zo is het hele onderkomen ook gebouwd en ingericht. De beste matrassen van onze vakantie en het lekkerste eten. Sandhu heeft veel ideeën en organiseert de mooiste uitstapjes voor een goede prijs.

We really liked our stay. The owner was very attentive and took care of all our needs. He was also very easy to communicate with. And the cabins were spacious, super clean and beautifully arranged. Bed was nice and comfortable with clean sheets. The cabin had a mini refrigerator too. We were also provided with a badminton set, a skipping rope and even some books to read. Basic necessities were provided to make tea as well. The washroom was clean and spacious with hot water available. And a hair dryer was also provided. I am really satisfied with the facilities and the service we received. Would recommend it to anyone for sure. Nice place in a calm and quiet environment.

Not a bad thing, but a small suggestion. Wold be nice if you could choose an air freshener type with milder fragrance. At first, it was somewhat uncomfortable for me, then I got used to it. This is just a small suggestion for improvement ,your service and facilities already exceeded my expectations ❤️

Sandhu ci ha accolti nella sua splendida villa in modo ineccepibile. La nostra stanza era molto pulita e confortevole, immersa nel verde e molto tranquilla. Abbiamo fatto colazione e cena in struttura, in entrambi i casi era tutto ottimo. Per qualsiasi esigenza Sandhu si è reso disponibile per aiutarci e ci ha fatto vivere una meravigliosa esperienza di avvistamento delle tartarughe. La struttura si trova vicino ad una immensa spiaggia quasi deserta, perfetta per rilassarsi.

This family run hotel is just awesome. A great superfriendly family that looks after you as family. The villa is a great comfortable size with a huge bed, fridge, airconditioning, fan hot water and even a blowdryer, badminton game, closet, tea facilities. They check in on you several times and clean the room on request. The outside porch was really lovely with great seats and a daybed, we enjoyed the view on the lovely garden with peacocks and monkeys.

Très beaux bungalows propres et confortables dans un magnifique jardin, au calme et à 800m de la plage (en partant sur la droite à la plage, 200m de plus et baignde possible abritée par une barrière de rochers). Une de plus belles parties de la longue pkage de Tangalle à note avis. Vous pouvez même rejoindre le centre de Tangalle à pieds par la plage en marchant 3 km de plus. Peu de touristes quand nous sommes venus, calme et sérénité ! Le propriétaire est réactif et aide à organiser vos déplacements. Nous avons trouvé la cuisine excellente (dîners, pas testé le PDJ). Nous avons prolongé le séjour car nous étions tellement bien !

We had a great time! Really quite area with a lot of animals in the garden! The family that runs the place is really kind and helpful.

Le meilleur rapport qualité prix de notre séjour ! Tout est presque parfait, la chambre est spacieuse, impeccable, et très bien équipé. La salle de bain est d’un standing supérieur Le bungalow dispose d’une petite terrasse très sympathique. Le tout dans un jardin luxuriant. (Le petit robinet extérieur pour se nettoyer les pieds est super pratique) Les dîners et petits déjeuner sont très bons. Sandhu vous accueil et réponds à toutes vos demandes. Il a été super, merci à lui et tout le personnel. Logement à 10 minutes de la plage.

Peaceful stay amongst a tranquil garden, 5 mins walking to the beach. The hosts were so kind and helped us with anything we needed. They even booked our onward transport and got us a good price. The restaurant serves delicious food (and big portions). They offered us a red torch to look for turtles hatching in the evening. It’s in a quiet area in tangalle away from the tourist resorts. We spent a whole day at the beach and hardly saw anyone. There are lots of good options for a drink or some food in the local area (run by locals mostly from what we found). I highly recommend Sha Sha Seafood, they brought a selection of fresh fish/tiger prawns out for us to choose from before ordering!

I didn’t realise about the extra tax added on for payment - this is visible on booking.com, I just didn’t clock it! It’s only a small amount.

Die Hütte ist phänomenal. Sauberkeit, Größe, Ausstattung, einfach super. Dazu kommt noch, dass die Familie super lieb und super hilfsbereit und bemüht ist, dass man dort einfach eine gute Zeit hat. Zum Schildkröten-Suchen hat er uns eine Rotlichtlampe geliehen, ohne die wir den Strand nicht hätten betreten dürfen. Auch die Preise für Frühstück, Dinner und Wäsche sind sehr anständig. Ein super Ort zum Runterkommen.

Einziger Minuspunkt: die Lage. Rundherum sind ein paar weitere Restaurants und Gasthäuser, sonst aber wenig. Das hat uns aber nichts weiter ausgemacht. Für 2 Nächte und das Beobachten von Schildkröten ist die Lage top.

super schöne Unterkunft mit vielen Details (Bierkrüge im Kühlschrank, Taschenlampe, Regenschirme...einfach an alles gedacht, was man ggf. brauchen könnte), Sauberkeit, Größe, Ausstattung der Cabana einfach super. Dazu kommt noch tolles Essen - leckeres Frühstück und Abendessen, schön garniert, klasse für's Auge und den Gaumen. Hilfsbereite, nette Angestellte, nicht aufdringlich. Nach Abreise hat uns die Unterkunft kontaktiert, dass uns ein Akku-Ladegerät aus dem Koffer gefallen war. Sie liessen uns das dann mit dem Bus hinterher schicken. Sehr, sehr nett. Lieben Dank nochmal.

5min Fußweg entfernt von einem traumhaften und unberührten Strand. Eine überragend freundliche Gastgeberfamilie, die nur darauf wartet die Wünsche ihrer Gäste zu erfüllen. Saubere und hervorragend ausgestattete Unterkunft.

Para lr a las playas más “conocidas” necesitas moto o pick me. Aunque para nosotras no fue un inconveniente porque alquilamos moto.

Beautiful garden with monkeys and peacocks, very clean and nice hosts. We were happy to stay for 4 nights.

It is a bit remote and you have to walk 10 min to the (absolutely stunning) beach, where swimming is hardly possible. But not a big issue.

Alles. Wij hadden het geluk dat we nog een nacht extra konden boeken. Een prachtig verblijf met uitstekend ontbijt en diner. Niet twijfelen, gewoon boeken!

Sehr schöne Bungalows in einem kleinen Garten. Bequeme Sessel auf der Terrasse. Das Essen ist sehr zu empfehlen. Fußläufig sind auch weitere Restaurants erreichbar. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Leider liegt es nicht direkt am Meer und fußläufig ist nicht viel erreichbar.

Tolle Anlage, super grün tropischer Garten, viele Tiere Bettwäsche aus Baumwolle Schlafen mit offenem Fenster gut möglich. Es kommt das Bäcker Tuktuk vorbei Am Strand kann man bis zu einem Naturpool wandern (4 km in eine Richtung), davor gibt es aber auch noch einige geschützte Badestellen mit Felsen als Wellenbrecher. Gutes Essen, es wurde auch meine gewünschte Diät eingehalten, auch Essen auf Wunsch außerhalb der Speisekarte zubereitet. Auf Wunsch Zimmerservice.

Dit is een geweldige plek en heerlijk rustig. Fantastische familie! We hebben genoten van de warme gastvrijheid evenals het ontbijt en 2 keer een fabuleus diner. Wat een mooie plek!

Předčilo všechno moje očekávání.Ubytování je na úžasném místě,chatka je čistá a personál je vstřícný a ochotný.Opravdu všem doporučuji.

Kleinschalige accomodatie. De familie heeft 4 bungalows in hun tuin staan. Ruim opgezet en aan alles is gedacht. De bungalows zelf is ook ruim, erg netjes en heeft een mooie veranda met comfortabele stoelen. Het strand is vlakbij, maar als je naar het gedeelte van Tangalle wilt waar je wat strandtentjes en gezelligheid vindt (nog steeds heel rustig trouwens) ben je een minuut of 10 per scooter of tuktuk onderweg. Al met al een heerlijke locatie als je een paar dagen rust zoekt.

Super nette Unterkunft, Bungalows in schönem Garten. Alles top gepflegt und liebevoll gestaltet. Der Eigentümer ist wahnsinnig nett und hilfsbereit.

Heerlijk rustige plek met leuke huisjes in een mooie tuin. Heerlijk ontbeten en gedineerd hier. Alles wordt met zorg bereid. Op loopafstand van mooi strand met gratis bedden onder de palmbomen.

Beautiful villa situated in a garden. One of four. Usual family ownership and warm welcome. Good English made communication easy, although as older people we were a little put out by needing to message for everything. Good modern facilities in a spacious and clean room. Fridge, kettle and private terrace. Also runs a restaurant. Very keen to know if we had any issues with our stay and what they could do to improve. Very special place. Would recommend.

Room was a little dark around the 'dressing table area'. Only tea available. No in room water provided (although beer n soft drinks in the fridge). Would benefit from a shelf near the sink to put various toiletry bits. Make sure to order your dinner early as they do run out of restaurant space. The lagoon is there...but not a clear view or access.

Tout était appréciable, la famille qui gère cet établissement était très attentive à chacun de nos besoins. Ils ont également été très aidants pour nous organiser nos déplacements. Le bungalow était propre et spacieux avec tout le nécessaire et l’eau chaude. Le petit déjeuner était aussi très bon. Enfin le cadre est très reposant et calme, avec de jolis paons qui traversent la propriété.

Прекрасное место для отдыха. Однозначно рекомендую. Уединенно и спокойно. Хозяева очень гостеприимные и приветливые. Безумно вкусная еда. Можно делать заказ, прямо из номера. Отличный Wifi. Также хозяин вилл, помог нам отыскать морских черепах! Это было удивительно! Также есть возможность покататься на каяках по лагуне, изучать местную флору и фауну. Пляж в 10 минутах от виллы, тут нет толп туристов, идеальное место для отдыха

Beautiful villa to stay in. It appeared to us that the owners had thought of everything, including shower shoes. Four poster bed with mosquito net, mini fridge, beautiful landscaped gardens, tea & coffee facilities, and restaurant onside. Tangalle beach is roughly 10 minute walk and we'll worth a visit at sunset.

Wir hatten hier das beste Frühstück unserer gesamten Sri Lanka Reise! Super nette Gastgeber und tolle Lage in der Nähe von einem riesigen, einsamen Strand. Wir hatten bei der Buchung nicht ganz aufgepasst und ein Zimmer ohne AC gebucht und dennoch freundlicherweise eine Zimmer mit AC bekommen - hier ggf. bei der Buchung drauf achten.

La nostra estada a Hanguk Lanka Lagoon Villa ha estat increïble. L’entorn és preciós i molt tranquil, perfecte per desconnectar. Volem destacar especialment a Sandhu, que és un noi excepcional: sempre atent, amable i disposat a ajudar en tot moment. Gràcies a ell, la nostra experiència ha estat molt més còmoda i agradable. Un lloc 100% recomanable si busques pau, bellesa natural i un tracte immillorable. 🌴✨

Es war einfach alles perfekt. Die Familie, die sich um die Anlage kümmert, ist unglaublich hilfsbereit, freundlich und herzlich. Sie haben uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen und wir haben uns zu jeder Zeit wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer sind perfekt ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht und das Essen ist wirklich ausnahmslos zu empfehlen. Wir wären gerne ewig geblieben und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

La struttura é accogliente, ma ancora di più lo sono gli albergatori. Sono super disponibili e sempre cordiali. Il signore dello scooter rental ha tardato di un’ora nel portarci lo scooter e così ci hanno prestato il loro nel frattempo. La colazione é buonissima e la camera é pulita e accogliente. L’albergo migliore di tutta la vacanza in Sri Lanka.

If we had known the place was this good, we would have stayed longer. Sandhu is a very kind and polite boy. From the beginning he was very attentive to us, giving us all kinds of explanations about how our room worked. It was super nice! The room is very big, well equipped with a large bathroom. Everything was super clean and the bed was super comforable. The room is so peaceful, so quiet and calm you will sleep like a baby. The property is such a beauty! Plants, trees and flowers everywhere. Black faced monkeys dancing in the garden by the sound of birds. Just amazing! The beach is super close, just 10 minutes walking. We went for a night's walk trying to find turtles. We didn't see any but we enjoyed our walk. The beach is stunning! The neighborhood is very safe. We ordered dinner though the tablet, which is a very smart system and the food was suuuuuuper tasty!! The vegetable soup was just delicious!! The fresh juices, the curd and honey, the boiled vegetables and the fried fish were incredible! The breakfast was also good. But the truth is, we really like this place, not because of the house and the food (these are amazing) but because of Sandhu. He's a hard worker, he is super attentive and he really makes the difference. For us, this was one of the best places to stay in Sri Lanka. 100% recommended

Everything was perfect!!

A very nice, new, and clean place. The staff is friendly, helpful, and respectful of privacy. The food is delicious, and the portions are large and varied, with a wide selection of breakfast options. Food prices are in line with or lower than in the area, with no additional service charge.

We waren er in het laagseizoen en de zoon van de baas, Sandhu, was onze host. Bij aankomst gaf hij ons een uitleg van de kamer en van wat er in de buurt te doen was. Hij was zeer behulpzaam en attent! Ook hielp hij ons bij het organiseren van de verschillende activiteiten zowel in Tangalle, als de rest van de reis! Er was ruime en lekkere ontbijtkeuze. De kamers waren proper en het bed was heel goed. De wifi werkte goed .

Die schönste Unterkunft unseres Urlaubs!! Unglaublich nette, bemühte Gastgeber. Sehr hochwertig ausgestattete Zimmer mit allem Komfort wie Wasserkocher, Föhn, Badminton-Spiel, Tassen, Tee und Kaffee. Kühlschrank im Zimmer, schönes Mobilar und eine eigene, sehr gemütliche Terrasse. Fantastisches Frühstück und Abendessen. Wir hatten Fisch und Prawns, was beides köstlich war. Cool, dass wir die Affen im Garten beobachten konnten. In 10 Minuten erreicht man den Strand, an den die Schildkröten ihre Eier ablegen. Man bekommt von der Familie sogar extra Rotlichtlampen für diesen Spaziergang.

Zumindest Ende August, als wir dort waren, ist baden. Am fußläufig erreichbaren Strand war Baden zumindest Ende August schwierig bis unmöglich wegen zu hohem Wellengang.

Un vero angolo di paradiso! Pavoni che passeggiano in giardino, un silenzio rigenerante e tanta pace. Camere pulitissime, colazione abbondante e deliziosa. Dopo aver soggiornato in 11 strutture in Sri Lanka, posso dire che qui le recensioni sono davvero affidabili: questa è da 10 e lode. Personale straordinario, sempre attento e gentile. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca relax e autenticità.

Mi estancia en el hotel ha sido muy bien, viajaba con mi pareja y mi hijo de 3 años. El hotel está muy cuidado y limpio. Ofrece todo lo necesario para estar cómodos en las vacaciones. La atención de todo el personal es muy buena, la comida está rica también es un restaurante. La playa está a 10 minutos caminando.

Está alejado del centro y se debe ir en coche. Al rededor no hay tiendas, súper…

Emplacement isolé et au calme, avec des paons et des singes langurs gris qui passent devant votre terrasse. Devant votre terrasse, pas de barrière, mais la jungle, impénétrable et mystérieuse. Dépaysement total! Magnifique jardin arboré et fleuri avec hamac, etc... Habitació molt neta i renovada. El Sadu i la seva família han estat molt amables i han cuidat tots els detalls. Recomano fer-hi els àpats (esmozar i sopar), doncs són boníssims. El wifi, l’aire acondicionat i l’aigua calenta funcionen perfectament. Aquest hotel és un petit paradís. Moltes gràcies per tot!!

Everything was absolutely amazing. You can walk to the beach which you almost have to yourself. With luck you can see turtles there at night. During the day there are beautiful peacocks in your garden and we even saw some monkeys. The villa is beautiful, top modern and super clean. Best accommodation we had on the entire island. The breakfast was also great. You could choose from several options. But the best was definitely the service. It was really outstanding. I highly recommend staying here if you want to have a peaceful stay.

We hebben genoten. Alles was perfect, de locatie (5 min van het strand), de huisjes, zeer schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien, en het eten! Alles was top en zijn zo goed ontvangen door de familie. Bedankt!

Todo fue estupendo, el trato por parte del personal, las instalaciones y el entorno en el que estaba, la cama, el cuidado de todos los detalles, la comodidad de la cama... Nos dió mucha pena irnos, muy recomendable y para volver!

The hospitality of Sandhu is incredible. He welcomed us with a big smile and a cup of tea. The rooms were extremely clean, spacious and equipped with aircon. Then, he cooked us a delicious dinner: the fish and seafood were very tasty and well cooked. After dinner we went to a beach nearby with his father to search for turtles. The beach is reachable with a short walk (9 minutes), that's why the location of the accomodation is perfect. In high season (jan-feb) many turtles come to lay their eggs on that beach. We could not find any turtles, only some footprints, but it was low season, so quite expected. However it was a fantastic walk: an empty tropical beach with rough waves and full moon. We slept really well, it is a quite area. The following morning, Sandhu served us a delicious breakfast with many fresh fruits. Unfortunately we just stayed one night, but I would have enjoyed relaxing on the beach or in his lush garden for few more days. I really loved staying there!

Un remanso de paz en la costa sur de Sri Lanka. A 10 minutos andando de la playa, que en temporada baja está prácticamente vacía y a 10 minutos en tuk tuk del centro de Tangalle. Si quieres desconectar y relajarte este es tu sitio. Amplia variedad de comida a disposición y desayuno de proporciones abundantes. Mención aparte a la amabilidad de Janud, siempre atento, amable y educado.

We had a wonderful time. Everything was perfect The room are perfect with the terrasse. We had breakfast there every morning. We stayed for 2 nights but wish we could stay longer. The food was amazing. Better than restaurant. The location just next to the beach. The family is wonderful, helpful and very kind. We saw monkeys, peacocks and bats in the garden Honestly just a little even in Sri Lanka

Estaba muy limpio, el personal era muy amable y nos trató muy bien. La cama era cómoda y el baño amplio y muy limpio. Mejor tener moto o tuk tuk alquilado porque no esta en el centro.

Sandhu è davvero molto gentile e bravo, si fa in quattro pur di soddisfare ogni esigenza. Alla sera e alla mattina su richiesta preparano cene e colazioni spettacolari a prezzi onesti. Super consigliato!

I highly recommend staying at Hanguk Lanka Lagoon Villa. I spent four nights here and its been such a wonderful stay. Sandhu and his family are really beautiful people and they will make your stay amazing. They are kind and considerate. I had many talks with Sandhu and he is an incredible young man. The villa itself is very beautiful and surrounded by psalm trees. I enjoyed sitting out on the verandah every day watching some cute little monkeys in the trees and also watching colourful peacocks walk by. The bed in the villa was so comfortable and the shower was really good. The wi-fi worked very fast as well. The room was very clean and private. The surrounding area is very tranquil which I loved. The food served in the restaurant was delicious and I ate breakfast and dinner there every day. I walked to a very serene beach every day. It's very close by. Thankyou so much Sandhu for all of your help. This has truly been my best stay in Sri Lanka and I have enjoyed every moment. My stay has been so wonderful.

La cabañita es preciosa, espaciosa y con un porche con unas tumbonas. A la habitación no le faltan detalles, neverita, paraguas, adaptadores de corriente, hervidor... Y la cama es comodísima. El entorno es una pasada, todo verde y lleno de plataneras y el chico que lo lleva es super amable, te lo explica todo al detalle y responde al WhatsApp al momento. El desayuno no está incluido pero es riquísimo también. Para nosotras el mejor alojamiento en Sri Lanka, nos hubiéramos quedado una semana.

Eine unglaublich tolle Unterkunft, die in unmittelbarer Nähe (400m Fußweg) zu einem unfassbar schönen Strand ist. An den Strand kann man zwar nicht schwimmen, aber dafür hat man den absoluten Traumausblick für sich alleine. Das Zimmer war toll, komfortabel eingerichtet und vor allem waren die Gastgeber unglaublich freundlich, zugewandt und hilfsbereit. Hier wird wirklich mit Herz das selbst von Hand gebaute Homestay geführt. Danke ! Man kann direkt in der Unterkunft die Mahlzeiten beziehen. Die Preise sind absolut fair und gut, der Geschmack ist phantastisch. Alles in allem ein toller Ort, wo man wirklich entspannen kann. Insgesamt mein schönster Aufenthalt in Sri Lanka !

We stayed at Hanguk Lanka Lagoon Villa for two nights and had a very relaxing and peaceful experience. The cottage was clean, well-maintained, and had all the comforts we needed for a comfortable stay. A special thanks to Sandhu, the manager at the property for going above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of. His personal attention and extra efforts truly made a difference. Even though we visited during the off-season and ours was the only cottage occupied, they ensured we got fresh and tasty food from the menu every time we ordered. The property is serene and scenic, with peacocks roaming freely, adding a magical touch to the environment. While I found the food menu a bit overpriced, considering the remote location and the high standard of the property, it felt acceptable. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Tangalle, especially those looking for a peaceful, nature-filled escape with warm hospitality.

Huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien! Super lieve mensen die er alles aan doen om je naar de zin te maken. Het zien van een zeeschildpad die haar eitjes kwam leggen in de buurt was echt de kers op de taart.

Logement incroyablement situé dans la jungle, à seulement 10 minutes à pieds de la plage, qui est très belle. La famille est extrêmement gentille, et se pliera en quatre pour vous aider et vous conseiller. Ils sont très bienveillants. La nourriture de l’établissement est exceptionnelle, c’est la maman qui cuisine, et c’est super bon, nous avons pris le petit déjeuner et nos dîners chez eux.

Ich nehm mir nicht oft so viel Zeit für die Bewertung, aber in diesem Fall war es mir ein Bedürfnis: Das war einer der schönsten Aufenthalte, die mein Partner und ich auf all unseren Reisen je hatten! Man schläft im eigenen, super eingerichteten Häuschen mit Terrasse, umgeben von spektakulärer Natur. Wir haben in unseren 2,5 Tagen dort aus nächster Nähe eine 20köpfige Affenfamilie gesehen, riesige Meeresschildkröten, Pfauen, einen Waran, einen Seeadler,... es war unglaublich. Die Gastgeber sind super nett und denken vorausschauend für ihre Gäste mit - sie haben uns mit Stromadapter, Taschenlampen für die Nacht und Ausrüstung/Tips für die Schildkrötenbeobachtung versorgt. Gerade dafür ist die Location auch super gelegen, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Schildkrötenstrand. Wir waren offseason da und hatten generell die Strände von Tangalle fast für uns allein. Man kann direkt in der Anlage auch richtig gut essen, es gibt in der Gegend aber auch jede Menge anderer Restaurants/Strandbars zu entdecken (unser Geheimtip: The Lounge -> haltet bei der Brücke die Augen nach der Fähre offen). Ums kurz zu machen: in einem ohnehin tollen Urlaub war das Hanguk Lanka einsame Spitze. Riesenempfehlung!

Die Familie war super!! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und unser Bungalow war top. Das Essen sehr lecker, abends war alles so schön beleuchtet und allgemein ein richtig schöner Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank nochmal.

We loved everything. The location close to the Tangalle beach, comfortable bungalows and beautiful garden. There was also very good, stable and fast wifi. The owners are lovely. The food served in the restaurant was delicious.

Our stay with Sandhu and his family was one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka. The family is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their house is in a unique location, right next to a beautiful beach. The homemade food was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend staying at their place to anyone visiting the area.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hanguk Lanka Lagoon Villa and can only recommend it! Sandhu and his family were so helpful and friendly. He helped us with all the questions and arranged a scooter for us. We had breakfast and dinner and all the meals were really delicious. We stayed over Sri Lankan New Years and they invited us to celebrate together with them, explained us their traditions and even made a traditional breakfast together for all the guests. The facilities and the whole place is really beautiful and it is located close to the beach, where you can see turtles in the evening.

Unglaublich leckeres Essen. Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und das Rice & Curry am Abend einfach toll. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gepflegt, alles macht einen neuen und sauberen Eindruck. Das WiFi war auch gut. Wie die Familie uns mitgeteilt hat, haben sie es extra gewechselt, nachdem es früher von Gästen bemängelt wurde. Man merkt, dass sie einem den schönstmöglichen Aufenthalt bieten möchten. Besonders haben uns auch die vielen wilden Tiere im Garten gefallen wie Pfauen, Affen, Vögel und Chipmunks.

Great accommodation! Very friendly people, super clean and nice little villas and the first time I had perfectly working wifi in Sri Ianka! Food was great too and the property is super calm and beautiful. Just a short walk away from an amazing beach without many tourists.

Na zakończenie mojej podróży po Sri Lance szukałam miejsca, które pozwoli mi się wyciszyć, odpocząć i po prostu… być blisko natury. I trafiłam w dziesiątkę! To miejsce to prawdziwa oaza spokoju – piękne, kojące i pełne uroku. Mój domek był otoczony zielenią – palmy, kwitnące rośliny i śpiew ptaków tworzyły bajkową atmosferę. Zewsząd cisza i spokój, które pozwalały na głęboki oddech i prawdziwy reset. Na terenie posiadłości rozłożone są hamaki – idealne do leniwego popołudnia z książką i szumem liści w tle. Sama willa? Przepiękna, bardzo przytulna i zaaranżowana z ogromnym wyczuciem. Przestronna łazienka, wygodne łóżko… Spałam tam jak dziecko! Czułam się dopieszczona w każdym detalu. Właściciele to cudowna, ciepła rodzina – serdeczni, pomocni, otwarci. Opowiedzieli mi mnóstwo ciekawostek o okolicy, życiu lokalnych mieszkańców i pomogli zorganizować mój ostatni transport na lotnisko. Ich gościnność naprawdę poruszyła moje serce. Na miejscu można zamówić śniadania, lunche i kolacje – i to nie byle jakie! Jedzenie jest przepyszne – świeże, lokalne i przygotowywane z pasją. Każdy posiłek był kulinarną przygodą! A porcje? Oj, są naprawdę solidne – więc przychodźcie głodni 😊 A wisienką na torcie był… paw! Codziennie o tej samej porze dumnie spacerował po ogrodzie, dokładnie wtedy, gdy jadłam śniadanie. Jego obecność sprawiała, że czułam się jak w jakiejś baśni. Z całego serca polecam to miejsce każdemu, kto pragnie choć na chwilę zatrzymać się w biegu, odetchnąć i nacieszyć się prawdziwym pięknem. Mam ogromną nadzieję, że kiedyś tam wrócę!

A Peaceful Jungle Escape – Highly Recommend! We had our own spacious, super clean, and modern bungalow at Hanguk Lanka Lagoon Villa – easily the best Wi-Fi of our whole trip! The place is run by a lovely family who really care about their guests. The food is tasty, high quality, and very reasonably priced. The jungle surroundings are beautiful, with gray monkeys often playing nearby. It's also a great spot for visiting wild turtles at Tangalle Beach. If you need a kayak, scooter, or local tips – just ask! We loved our stay and would absolutely come back.

Nette Gastgeber und saubere Unterkunft.

Nuestra experiencia en este alojamiento ha sido simplemente maravillosa. Es un lugar único, lleno de encanto, con un entorno natural precioso y una zona de jardín extremadamente cuidada, perfecta para desconectar y sentir paz. El desayuno nos pareció excelente, no solo por su sabor y presentación —muy cuidada—, sino también por su precio razonable, especialmente si se compara con otras opciones de la zona. Todo está pensado con mimo y se nota el gusto por el detalle. La atención ha sido exquisita, en especial por parte de Sandhu, un joven encantador que, junto a su familia, actúa como un verdadero anfitrión. Siempre pendiente de que todo esté perfecto y que no te falte nada. Su trato cercano y amable hizo toda la diferencia. Nos alquilaron una moto a un precio justo (el habitual en la zona), lo cual fue muy cómodo para movernos. Aunque el alojamiento está algo apartado, para nosotros fue ideal: tranquilo, sin ruidos, y lo más sorprendente… ¡el único lugar en toda la isla donde pudimos dormir sin oír perros ladrando toda la noche! Descansamos como en ningún otro sitio. La playa está a unos 10 minutos andando, así que también es accesible sin necesidad de transporte si te apetece caminar. En resumen, un rincón con alma, ideal si buscás tranquilidad, belleza natural y un trato humano excepcional. Totalmente recomendable.

The host met us upon our arrival and not only gave us the keys but showed us around the villa and property.

That we couldn't stay longer..... Had to return home.... but this place felt like home and we loved it!

Beste verblijf die we in Sri Lanka hebben gehad. Je eigen huisje op een leuk resortje. Ze zijn echt heel aardig en regelen alles perfect. Wij voelde ons hier heel erg fijn.

Es hat einfach alles gepasst. Die Familie ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Anlage ist soo schön und sehr gepflegt. Die Villa ist top ausgestattet und war die sauberste Unterkunft die wir in unserem Urlaub hatten. Man läuft 10min zum Strand, das Essen ist auch super lecker.
