The view The Staff and The Food!!! Ticking all the right boxes. Very clean, excellent hospitality and child friendly. One of our best stays in srilanka Mr DUMINDA from the front desk went out of his way to ensure we had a comfortable stay.

Lovely hotel and lovely staff. The infinity pool has great views over the city. Nice location if you don’t want to be right in the centre. Tuk tuks easy to get up and down the hill.

Our driver took a rogue route on the initial arrival and the roads were interesting, follow signs not Google/Apple Maps.

The pool and lounge area were a wonderful surprise and added to the overall experience. The location is excellent, with an easy to travel Kandy City, Market, cafes, restaurants, and other attractions.

The infinity pool was the main highlight of the property, offering stunning views and a very relaxing atmosphere. The location is excellent, and the overall setting is calm and enjoyable. Rooms were spacious and well-equipped with necessary amenities, and the interior design was comfortable and modern. Staff were friendly and supportive throughout the stay. Food options were good with a mix of local and international dishes, including vegetarian options. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with good value for money.

Overall, the stay was very enjoyable. A few small improvements could make the experience even better, such as enhancing attention to ongoing maintenance, specifically to moisture-related wear in rooms that comes naturally with the hilltop Kandy climate, helping keep the property in its best condition throughout the year. It would also be helpful if the signage along Hanthana Road was made a bit more visible, as some boards were partially covered by greenery, and clearer guidance would make navigation easier since map directions can sometimes be inaccurate in the area.

Portion size for al a carte food was very good. Location and Scenery were great. Staff were excellent. Very homely atmosphere

The property is at a very secluded location with a very beautiful view of the city overlooking, an infinite pool and amazing weather but, we weren’t given a room with these facilities

We were provided a room in adjacent building with poor wifi connectivity, no service, also surprisingly 3-4 veg options only in the menu. Spring rolls were only 3 as an appetiser with no taste. The food quality was inconsistent and was definitely reheated and served later for dinner. Talking to the manager also didn’t help us much as he was reluctant on agreeing to feedback.

Skyloft is located in a beautiful tranquil landscape and they have maintained a beautiful garden surrounded with flowery flora. Anyway, the staff was very friendly and I should mention Mr. Duminda is a remarkable person among them. Room was very clean and there was a small library for reading enthusiasts. Breakfast was also provided with food varieties and you must try that “chicken curry with pol sambola”. The request I made for room decoration had been made stunning. If you seek for a breathtaking view in a beautiful environment I’ll recommend this place.

Nice view on the mountain.

We got upgrade and at the end we got „additional” room with no AC , nets in the Windows so there was noise and heat inside. We got upgrade so not balcony and ipo view on the mountain we got view on the road and parking. Bathroom not comfortable, not enough shampoo . Place looks like a new on the photos but in reality it looks used one. Location not good. Far away from the city . Difficult to get there.

The infinity pool and clean modern rooms

The beef curry - the meat was very tough and unpleasant. The taste and everything else was very nice. Gave me an upset tummy.

Lækker pool med udsigt. Dejlig værelse med udsigt ud over byen. Vores værelse lå i en anden bygning overfor for resten af hotellet. Det gjorde afstandene lidt længere, men gav også en fed udsigt. Det ligger et stykke fra byen, men det lever man med når man ser Kandy oppefra.

Vi syntes ikke restauranten var særlig opløftende. Vi oplevede også flere gange at der ikke var personale tilstede. Til den pris det koster savner jeg bedre service, bl.a. i forhold til veksling af kontanter, en mere tilgænglig bar og hjælp til transport til byen.

The view was very good, and we were satisfied with our stay. However, the staff were not very familiar or friendly. Later, I felt that this might have been because my family is local. Until our departure, no one came to speak with us. When it was time to settle the bill, I had to go to the reception myself. Mr. Angelo handled the process professionally, and that was all. With our arrival no briefing were given about the hotel. Just we had a Cup of Coffee as a welcome drink.

Around 7:00 AM, my children were planning to have an early breakfast. I inquired about the à la carte menu, but I was informed that it would only be available after 9:00 AM. However, they mentioned that a standard set menu was available at any time. I do not understand why breakfast could not be arranged, especially since I was willing to pay. This situation led us to leave the hotel early without enjoying the surroundings, which was disappointing. We were unhappy with how this matter was handled. It appeared that the staff lacked proper food and beverage (F&B) experience. No wi-fi connecting procedure was available when we go to room on arrival. But on following day morning i saw there is a QR code on the reception.

I booked a family suite in the other building which was perfect. The room was big, clean and had an amazing view of the valley and city.

The rooftop pool. The views of the hills and valley. The breakfast. Dinner buffets were amazing. Staff were very helpful. Great little gym!

This was my worse stay at a hotel. Hotel front office manager does not know about hospitality and was lying many instances. Linen were not clean and room has bad smell due to poor cleaning

Det var lite svårt för taxi att ta sig till boendet och kändes krångligt att ta sig ner till staden. Upplevde också att det var lyhört ut till korridoren, då det hördes väl in till hotellrummet när personalen städade på morgonen.

Rooms are clean and the facility is new

Family suites are not in the pictures that they advertise. They are in a seperate building upstairs of the car park. Does not include any view of the mountains. This is false advertising

This place is very nice, the staff are extremely helpful and the pool is beautiful. Breakfast and dinner buffets are quite good with a good variety. Views are very nice from the pool and rooftop bar.

The location is a bit hard to find, best to call the hotel and get directions and also difficult to get to especially if you are in a larger vehicle. Room had a few geckos and ants but apart from that the room was nice and clean.

Amazing hotel and perfect stay for Christmas! This was our second time at Skyloft. We stayed in the new apartments which provided our family lots of space. The staff helped our family make Christmas magical for our children by providing a small Christmas tree to decorate. The building is beautiful and well decorated. Clean. We sat at the rooftop bar every night. Al la carte food was great. Buffet breakfast was ok. Yes it is far from downtown but as a result you get an amazing panoramic view of the surrounding hills. Sunsets are stunning.

Needs more sunloungers by pool and comfortable furniture in common areas. Pool is very cold and would be nice to be heated slightly. Shouldn’t have to pay to play pool table.

The location of the property gave a vantage point to see the whole city. It was nice and cosy.

The location was tough to access. The hotel has Resturant so did not need to go any further.

Very friendly and helpful staff. A gorgeous infinity pool that allowed amazing sunset views over the Kandy city horizon.

Slightly small room sizes. The building was quite noisy because of the stairwell, open kitchen and dining areas all being connected meaning lots of echoing off the hard surfaces, which caused disturbances early in the morning. The buffet breakfast and dinner options were very basic and limited, and food was often not warm or hot enough to enjoy. We ate out more often in the city, however the a la carte option in the hotel was reasonable for dinner.

Das Skyloft liegt oberhalb von Kandy mit einem herzlichen Blick über die Stadt. Unsere Zimmer im Nebengebäude waren riesig und sehr komfortabel. Es war ruhig und sauber. Wir waren zwei Nächte im Skyloft und haben spontan das Abendessen und das Frühstück dazugebucht. Alles sehr lecker. Das Personal war jederzeit herzlich und zuvorkommend.

Durch die Lage am Hang ist die Anfahrt etwas schwierig und länger. Wer lieber im Trubel von Kandy wohnt sollte das beachten - uns hat es so besser gefallen

5am wake up call by slamming doors and talking in corridors. The bedroom door was so thin you could hear everything. Balcony door didn’t lock and was single glass so you could also hear everything going on in the car park which was where our room backed on too. Finally - 6am comes around and there is a huge smell of food that is quite honestly disgusting. So much so that you can’t sleep. Food quality pretty poor. Ordered lunch and it was below average.

Die Bilder sind vielversprechend, die Realität sieht anders aus. Das Hotel hat seine besten Zeiten offenbar hinter sich. Unser Zimmer war alles andere als sauber. In der Dusche und auf dem Nachttisch lange Haare, Flecken im Bettlaken, unübersehbare Flecken in den Vorhängen, Wände fleckig, teilwrise Malerflecken, unprofessionell und lieblos. Der Eingangsteppich des Hotels ebenfalls voller Flecken. Am Pool sind 2 Liegen und 3 Stühle und eine riesen Tafel mit Regeln, was alles verboten ist. Man darf dort weder essen noch trinken (die Fotos versprechen anderes). Ein Gym ist zwar ausgeschildert, jedoch nicht zu finden. Ein Frühstücksbuffet gab es nicht. Und das, was wir für den Preis bekommen haben, das war es absolut nicht wert. Wir kamen spät abends aus der Stadt zurück und standen vor einem geschlossenen Tor. Wir hätten uns gefreut, wenn uns beim Check-In jemand darüber informiert hätte, dass es ein Tor gibt, welches irgendwann geschlossenen wird und wie wir dann in unsere Unterkunft kommen. Irgendwann hat uns dann der Nachtwächter entdeckt. Das Zimmer war sehr hellhörig. Wir können diese Unterkunft nicht weiterempfehlen. Zum Glück waren wir nur eine Nacht dort. Schade, es war bestimmt mal schön.

It is quite steep uphill. We had a mini van, and it was a bit hard getting to the hotel with the roads being so narrow and steep

The hosts were very friendly and the room was very spatious. The pool is nice and has a pretty view.

The location is pretty remote, the taxi struggled to get up that hill. The room could have been cleaner(the windows were dirty for example). Also the wifi didnt work in our room(was good at the reception). The food in the restaurant was not very good and we waited for an hour to get it. Overall not terrible but not good value for money.

The staff , the pool , the view , the halal food , the service , everything was charming, big specious clean room & comfortable bed .
