Very nice and cordial staff.. good location close to Angkor Watt
The owner and staff were extremely nice and helpful, I would most likely stay again. It wasn't to bad of a tuk tuk drive to pub street and only cost about 7000 riel. Plus 7-11 and and ankor market were to far away. It was a decent value and included breakfast which was nice. Plus I enjoyed some of the meals they had on their menu like butter chicken and fried rice. I think the price is fair and affordable
Some of the other occupants might seem disrespectful, I was locked out on the balcony because I coughed and it woke her up. I reported this behavior to the owner to look further into while I was there. Some people might not like the spider webs in the bathroom, but since I am use to living a country life it didnt bug me at all. The bed mattress was not something I am use to and were pretty stiff
They are nice, and helpful people. They make you feel welcome. Angkor Wat is just only 10 minutes away, great location.
Unfortunately my room was a bit dirty, wasn't felt comfortable. They have to focus a little bit more the cleaning after customers are left. For the price was okay.
Halpa
The people working here is amazing. The Nepali-Camboyan family hosted us as one more of the family. They has a giant heart. There are motorbikes for renting. Food is so good and cheap. Bed is comfortable and shower has power and is hot. Good air cond.
Can’t say nothing
In a nice area
Even by backpacker standards it was grotty
They are very nice and would change the room any time we had any trouble with anything. Always helpful and will do everything for you. Big spacious rooms with some furniture. Hot water and good showers. Shampoo and shower gel provided. Good breakfast - even though you have no choice of meals. Comfortable big bed. Good ac in the end.
The rooms are not very clean. The first room the a/c didn’t work, the second room the same problem - both were delux! 3rd room was great finally. But they had some mechanics the following day the repair the a/cs. The place has such a potential but it’s kind of run down as they do not care for it very much. Spider webs everywhere. Dew smell in the rooms. But can’t expect much more for this price.
Everything is decent. With the rate, don't expect too much. If you spend most of your time outside, and you only need a place to rest at night, you may want to consider this place. Just get ready with some sort of small discomfort, from location, room, and cleanliness.
The room is dirty and has dust and web spiders at some corners. The location is a bit hidden, some parts of the road are still unpaved and unlit at night.
Very good accomodation if you want some peace and quiet while your stay in siem reap. Very good price but the room was not the cleanest and the shower only had cold water. People were extremely nice , so definitely worth it
Very good location, silent, spacious rooms, very reasonable price, breakfast included, payment accepted in different currencies, bicyle and motobike rent
Shower has only cold water.
Beneden liepen kakkerlakken rond. Onacceptabel.
Only chose to stay here for easy access to the 1/2 marathon at Angkor Wat. It is a bit out of town but only a 30 min walk. Plenty of transport options. Close to a 7/11 outside of which are a few street food options. Namo Angkor Villa does great food too though, I recommend the Chana Masala. Quiet street, slept well. No hot water but who needs it? Front gate is locked overnight but they will give you a key if you're coming in late or going out early.
No complaints.
spacious room helpful host who speaks English well on-site restaurant serves delicious Nepali food close to Angkor Archaeological Park included breakfast is simple and fresh Owner allowed me to wash my bike with his hose secure parking
room, towels and linens could be cleaner
Rien
The room is in a quiet place not far from the city center, clean with everything you need, a good Indian restaurant and the hotel staff are very nice people.
Personnel aimable
It was comfortable, clean room, nice bed and the staff were very friendly and helpful too. Enjoyable stay, we would recommend :)
The only thing I’d mention is the shower wasn’t too powerful but it didn’t bother us too much, it was still hot water :)
Derfor måtte vi kravle over hegnet
Ubicación cerca de los templos
No estaba limpio, no teníamos agua caliente
Nothing although there WAS a 711 around the corner.
No toilet paper. Soggy floor mat never moved. No door key. Staff no help getting a tuk tuk. Food was terrible. Dirt road to get there that had no lighting making walking terrible. Too far from town.
-Close to Angkor Wat -The person who seems like an owner was a nice guy but we saw him just first day
-Weird Staff not willing to help too much -Restaurant was closed most of the time -Quite dirty, full of ants -There was no electricty for most of one of the days we stayed
Good
The room is nice and amazing price ever.
Quite and very near Angkor wat
Great place!!! I love it so much and it’s affordable. It has AC, hot and cold water. Quiet room really peaceful!! would highly stay again for next visit!!
don’t really have
I like staff
Property nt good
Nice staff Nice property Budget hotel
Rude owmer Not clean
Absolutely ok
- The property is so close to the Angkor Wat Temple and a small tuktuk (which will cost you 1$) to the main streets which was great! - You can rent bicycles and scooters there if you wish! - They have bus times and prices if you want to travel more of Cambodia which is helpful! And we booked a tour via GetYourGuide for the temples but they can order a tuktuk for you to go and see them if you wish to do that! - Very quiet area so can definitely sleep well, I do believe we were the only ones staying there at the time too so VERY quiet! - The breakfast is nice, especially if you enjoy Indian spices! And food comes out quickly ! - Air-con worked well too!
- When we arrived the bathroom had a square hole in the ceiling, which made me feel a little uneasy at times and the bathroom light (after about 10 minutes) would start flickering, so showering felt like a strobe party and there wasn’t any nothing we could do! - We only got 1 towel between 2 of us (but we also had our own travel towels so wasn’t too bad)! - We also had to leave the key with the staff when going out for the day? Didn’t like this… (We did this once but got away with other times because there wasn’t anyone at front desk) - They shut the gates at 10pm at the villa, but there is a guy that sleeps outside (he works there) so he can let you in whenever. We just felt bad :( and one time he was so tired he didn’t wake up but we managed to get in 😂!
If you are only going to see angkor wat the location is good otherwise no. Its around 3 kilometres from the main centre. Rooms and bathrooms could have been much better. Staff was nice and helping
Neplai staff is so nice! Great conversations. They have a lovely menu with a divers Indian/Western kitchen. Travel services available. Very calm and relaxing location with true silence in the night. After sunset the 1th floor terras is a rest oasis. Proper rooms for so cheap. Can't expect this quality for this low price.
Reception. "Poor" man. No teets. English very poor. Less than Basic. Actually "yes" "ok" and not to Smart do not helpful. Do not know too much about anything. Transport, attractions etc. Can not organize nothing like in another hostels. One or two motoybike to rent. Toilet/shower very poor, dirty. Another hostels in the same price everything high level. Not recommend.
my experience was good. I liked the place; the hostel's view was nice. There is a balcony area—chill and comfortable—where you can have a good time. The hot water is limited, but I didn’t mind too much. The chef is also very nice; he cooks in a Lebanese style. It’s delicious and affordable.
So, I’ll just tell you one thing—I’m a backpacker and have limited clothes. I only had two pairs of socks, and after washing them, someone stole one. It’s just who I am, and I never expected something to be stolen in a hostel. That was a bad moment; I didn’t like it.
Let's be clear—this is a budget hotel. That being said: Great location, close to Angkor Wat Friendly staff, always ready to help Tasty food, especially if you like Nepalese/Indian cuisine Overall, good value for money
Rooms are not very clean Some renovations are needed, especially in the bathroom
The owner really nice even the staff you have everything in one place rent motorbike from him eating just 3 kilometers from the center that’s all
Nice staff, good location, good price
It was cheap
The noise, the rats, the bugs. The plumbing in the bathroom all leaked.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, big portions, prepared super fast, and the prices are more than affordable. We ate there everyday during our stay
The drain in the shower was a bit clogged. The pillows were uncomfortable (very hard)
Quiet (bar the rooster in the morning). Great location to get to Angkor Wat, based outside of the main city. Free water refills are great! You can't find that in many places.
The room was smaller than we thought, small bathroom but manageable.
Kind personal and close to Angkor Wat
Dirty, the toilet didn’t clean, old equipment, poor bed linen
Nice host, near to Temples Big bed and good AI, big terrace for evening talks or just chill Host let us leave our backpack for a while after chechout and was really nice
Old bathroom need renewal :(
Nothing
There was a big pump noise all night long never sleep. Owner said me that this problem there is just for two weeks. So they gave me that inconvenient room not accidently…I am on a bike tour need a good sleep but not…Owner is not a good guy…
Nice staff. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Well-functioning internet. Possibility to rent a bike.
Everything was great and the staff was friendly and helpful
I liked everything so it was all good
Very close to the temples, the price is so reasonable and great.
Staff were very kind, bed was comfy, room was huge. Perfectly located near Angkor Wat.
It’s not the cleanest but for the value it can’t be beat!
Good location very friendly and helpful staff. You will not find cheaper accommodation in Siem Reap.
A lot of noise at the "reception area" especially at night (local people getting together). At one point there was very very loud music playing in the afternoon while my wife was trying to sleep (sick).
Nothing
The dirtiest accommodation I’ve ever been. I was having a sunrise tour starting at 4AM that’s why I decided to spend the first night until 4AM and left. I’ve requested to the staff to change the huge-yellow-dotted sheets 2 times and nothing changed, all the sheets and pillow covers were dirty and toilet seat was also brown-dotted which means they didn’t even bother themselves to clean the TOILET. Also the contact at the hotel was not helpful at all for the transfer from the airport to the hotel, I’ve had to pay way more to the taxi since the contact from the hotel suggested me not to book any transportation beforehand.
Amazing staffs
