nada más llegar nos ofrecieron un chocolate caliente que estaba muy, muy rico, mientras esperábamos a que nuestra habitación estuviese limpia. Ya subiendo en el ascensor nos informaron del upgrade de nuestra habitación, ofreciéndonos una superior y con vistas, en lugar de la interior que teníamos reservada. Detalle que agradecimos enormemente, ya que la habitación era perfecta. Destaco la limpieza, la comodidad de la cama, el baño totalmente nuevo, lo céntrico y bonito que es el hotel, y el desayuno, que es muy completo y estaba todo rico

Une expérience malheureusement décevante pour notre séjour à Nuwara Eliya. La chambre était convenable dans l’ensemble, mais plusieurs points nous ont vraiment dérangés : literie sale, aucune fenêtre et surtout une très mauvaise insonorisation. Nous n’avons pratiquement pas dormi de la nuit, notamment à cause d’un bruit permanent ressemblant à celui d’un chauffe-eau ou d’une machine. Côté restauration, l’expérience est plus positive. Le personnel du restaurant est très agréable et attentionné. La carte propose un peu de tout, sans réelle spécialité particulière. La nourriture est convenable et le petit-déjeuner est copieux. Nous avions choisi Nuwara Eliya notamment pour son atmosphère et son héritage colonial britannique. Nous avons donc été déçus de ne retrouver aucun véritable charme ou style colonial anglais dans cet établissement. Il s’agit par ailleurs d’un tout petit hôtel, ce qui est bon à savoir avant de réserver. Personnellement, je ne choisirais pas cet hôtel pour un prochain séjour à Nuwara Eliya, principalement à cause du bruit, du manque d’insonorisation et de l’absence du charme que nous recherchions.

De bedden kraakten enorm dus al de een zich omdraait wordt de ander ook wakker. Daarnaast zijn de muren erg dun, dus last van luidruchtige mede gasten.

Het hotel is prachtig. Mooie kamers, vriendelijk personeel, heerlijk eten in het restaurant en centraal gelegen.

The staff were so friendly and kind, we had lovely hot chocolate when we arrived and the breakfast was really delicious. The room was super clean and nice, and the hot water / heater was really appreciated as it was quite cold and rainy!

The staff were very professional and accommodating. They made us a special simple breakfast with no hesitation. The room was very clean and well appointed. Although our room was next to the restaurant, we had no noise issues.

This property can be improved. There is no air conditioning and this was not mentioned on the website. The rooms are small. The bathrooms are small and pokey. Be aware of the pictures especially if you are travelling from abroad and not a local to Sri Lanka. There were so many little things that could have made the experience better. Also it in the heart of the hustle and bustle of the street side markets. Be aware of this when booking. None of this was mentioned on the website.

Heel erg gehorig, in de ochtend hoor je alles qua voorbereiding ontbijt.

Hotel is gerenoveerd, erg mooi. Personeel ook top. Ontbijt wordt geserveerd en je kunt wensen aangeven. Ligt erg centraal, op loopafstand van restaurants en winkeltjes

Geen raam in kamer en wat vervelend was is de gehorigheid. In de nacht was het prima, maar je hoort letterlijk de buren praten en als het ontbijt klaargezet wordt hoor je alles.

Nádherný design hotelu. Hotel byl velmi čistý. Obsluha neuvěřitelní ochotná a milá. Velké děkuji Pradb Bala za to jak se o nás staral. Hotel velmi doporučuji, je v absolutním centru města. Jediný co bych vytkla byl večerní hluk z ulice.

Kind and professional employees, quite new. Hotel room was generally good.

There was no AC but the employees quickly resolved our concern by providing a fan

+ Great location for what we wanted + The rooms were clean and well maintained

+ Staff seemed annoyed when we checked in not very welcoming and tried to charge a higher price for a taxi 2.5x the price of pick me rate. + Frequent issues with power when we called someone up to look they told us to just remove the key wait for a light and then put it back in. We woke 4x during the night to do this to keep our phones charged!

The staff were really friendly and helpful, gave us all the information we needed. The location was perfect, right in the middle of the town and was good for our transit through to the train to Ella.

The location of this hotel is excellent. You can easily walk to the city center or the park. The food was also very good, and the room was clean.

Good location right in the middle of town around shops and cafes. Good restaurant inside with nice menu options. At breakfast some pastries were not fresh but otherwise all other items were good. Clean comfortable room. Hot water takes a little while (15 mins) to heat up once activated when you insert room key but had very hot water once on.

The room had small floor space not a lot of space to move around but fine for 1 night stay.

男性スタッフ（おじさんスタッフ）のホスピタリティが良かったと思います。（そもそもあまり女性スタッフは見かけない）にこやかに接していただいたり、面倒見よく対応してくださったりお世話になりました。部屋はこじんまりとしており、わたしの部屋は眺望なしでしたが、アメニティもひと通り揃っているほうだと思いましたし、たまに電気が切れることがある以外は滞在に関して不満はないです。 ヌワラエリヤの中心にあり、わたしが泊まったときは春のお祭りが開催されていましたが、うるさくて眠れないなどはなかったです。レストランなどももちろん探しやすいです。

ホテル内に洗濯サービスがなかったことです。よそに依頼するため割高になったのと、アイテムごとの見積もりがないため少し面倒でした。スタッフの方がお見積もりを確認してくださるなど奔走してくださり感謝です。

The hotel is centrally located. It is clean and modern. All staff were exceptionally helpful. Breakfast was great.

There was some noise from barking dogs at night. Obviously nothing for the hotel can do but it did impact our sleep a little.

Good location and very nice rooms

The hotel is very crammed with the restaurant and coffee areas on top of the rooms which can be very noisy. I had kids running past my room in the evening and could hear doors constantly being shut on another night. There was a restaurant table practically on top of my room which would mean getting woken up by conversations

Location amazing

Great location—right by the city center and Victoria Garden. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially when we had trouble with our car and couldn’t get it started. They quickly arranged a local mechanic for us and truly went above and beyond to take care of everything. Special thanks to Pradeepan, Chanru, and Mervin for their outstanding support. Definitely will revisit for the next Nuwara Eliya trip.

The staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was very noisy, especially at night. The area felt like a bus stop. Staying in the city in Nuwara Eliya is not necessary as all places can only be accessed by car.

Couldn’t recommend this place enough, wish I had more time to extend my stay. The staff were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and warm. The room had very plush finishes, including lovely bed linen, high end finishes and high quality towels. Breakfast was generous and very tasty. Great location in town centre, walkable to all sites. Highly recommend Yara Hotel!

We enjoyed our stay at Yara. The room was clean and comfortable and we liked being in the centre of town. Pradeepan on reception was always on hand if we needed anything. Mervin and Baka made sure we had everything we ever could ask for at breakfast. Exceptional customer service all round.

The hotel is in a good shape. The room was big, clean and the staff was friendly. We got a delicious hot chocolate as welcome drink. The bathroom is big and very clean.

The location is central but not really touristic. There is not much to do around here. The hotel is not soundproof, we could here people of other rooms quite good. Luckly they went to bed around the same time as we did.

近くに飲食店も多くてとても便利。部屋はとても清潔。ヌワラエリヤの夜は寒いので部屋に小さいヒーターがあって良かった。ウェルカムドリンクのホットチョコレート、部屋においてあるチョコレートが美味しかった。シャワーの温度、水圧も問題なし。とてもセンスの良いホテル。

An unpleasant odour from the bathroom.

This little hotel is beautiful, from the hot chocolate at checkin, to the beautiful breakfast and the rooms are spotlessly clean and cosy. Our waiter at breakfast was lovely and so attentive. The hotel is right in the center of town.

The only thing I didn’t like is there is no A/C probably because it is a bit cooler up there. I found it a bit stuffy at night and would have liked A/C.

Modern hotel, perfect location in centre of town, yet quiet inside. Great view for breakfast overlooking town square and hills

The staff were wonderful & food was exceptional.

The room we were given an upgrade which we were grateful for but the room entrance was directly off the dining room. So please avoid room 301 & 302. We had noise early in the morning from dining room & people late at night.

Lovely stay, great locations and very comfortable room, had a great nite sleep here. Has a car park private for your car and breakfast is good.

The location is perfect, with direct access to the lake. Nice pool. Large room and nice bathroom

The stay was very comfortable and felt quite luxurious. The room was well soundproofed, so even though the hotel is located in the center of the city, there were no disturbances from outside noise. The hot water worked perfectly, which is very important in the cold weather of Nuwara Eliya. Parking was available and convenient as well.

The location is more in the city center rather than surrounded by nature, so it doesn’t give that typical Nuwara Eliya nature-view experience. Also, the room was a bit smaller than I expected compared to how it appeared in the photos.

Lovey little hotel in a good location. Best shower from our whole trip. The staff were very helpful and so friendly, we even got our morning coffees personalized!

The hotel is very noisy because it is in the heart of the city center. Also our room was on the hotel restaurant and there was noise from the restaurant. In the night we stayed they had holiday parade and there was so much noise, no one from the reception told us about ir.

The restaurant a'la carte menu foods were quite bad (and overpriced), breakfast was mostly okay, but nothing jaw dropping. Walls were a little thin/noise insulation wasn't the best.

The property is new and beautiful. The room is spacious and the bed is really comfortable. The location of the property is very good.

We had a room right next to the restaurant and it was very very load in the evening until 11PM and in the morning starting 7AM. Also, one reusable shampoo bottle that was not properly working fell in the shower by mistake and we were charged a pretty high price for it at check out.

The hotel is quite new. Rooms are nice and so is the staff. Breakfast was also good.

There were some stains on the bed sheets and one of the towels. For hot water you had to wait 20min when entering the room and then again another 10min if a second person wanted to shower…

We were given rooms in the same vicinity as the dining room and the kitchen which was actually right next door to our rooms. guests were rowdy but the staff were even more rowdy and refused to keep the noise down. It was a disappointing stay at Nuara Eliya
