The host was very welcoming and she even prepare fruuts, snack and tea items for her guest on arrival. The facikity was clean and comfortable

Everything was good, the only thing that stop a full excellent was that i was a little too tall for the shower.

There were a lot of stairs and my mom is visually impaired I should have asked before booking This doesn’t affect most people

The gardens are amazing

We had to change our location because the front was low and it was scraping the driveway. One of thé bedroom’s door didn’t close properly and there were very few electrical outlets in the bedroom.

The location was good and very safe

The landscape was amazing the host was amazing i highly recommend this property They made us feel so welcome and at home it is amazing she provided everything that we needed and more imaging booking a stay and when you open your refrigerator you see watermelon as a welcome treat this couple went above and beyond to make us feel welcome I will be coming back

This place was amazing.From the moment my husband and I drove up the street, we could tell it would be a good experience.Though we only stayed one night, we were very comfortable, and the peace and serenity of the environment was just awesome.Mr and Mrs. Cover were two of the sweetest persons you could find anywhere.They were very warm and welcoming and made sure we were comfortable.My husband and I loved the gardens,they were as beautiful as the pictures.I would definitely book again.

Thelma and Don was the best host you could expect away from your own home. They invited us to breakfast and prepared a wonderful spead, to send us on our way home. Thanks again

Thelma went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable. It was a pleasure to wake up to her beautiful garden every morning. The apartment was airy and breezy and the amenities for cooking are available. Whenever I go to Mandeville I will be staying at The Villa Retreat

I was attracted by the gardens, how they are immaculate and well maintained. This is a positive reflection of what I would anticipate that the accommodation would be. Thelma and Donovan are fantastic hosts. I would describe them as Super Hosts. They put us at immediate ease. They are very conscientious and understanding as we arrived later than expected for the check-in. This platform provided them the opportunity to share their natural passionate abilities to host others with nothing being an issue or problem. Nothing beats local knowledge, and they are willing to share this with their guests. The accommodation is a traditional brick house of historical importance. It felt like home from home and had all the provisions that you would want and need for any length of stay. WiFi for those teens and young adults who are permanently glued to their phones (Instagram) and for the adults who need to check important emails and catch up on Facebook. There is a wide range of TV channels to watch and Netflix. However, who needs all of that when you have such a homely, sophisticated, well decorated accommodation. My son loved the garden and spent a significant amount of time there. It has been a tranquil and calming overall experience. (My son is in his 20's) The hosts felt like family, and I shared this with them. They are very special, genuine people. I will be recommending them to all my friends.
