I absolutely loved everything about this accommodation, especially Ate Patricia. She was incredibly kind, accommodating, and helpful from the moment we arrived until the day we left. She even helped plan our departure and arranged a tuktuk for us so we could get to the port early for our 6:00 AM trip. We also exceeded the 48-hour motorbike rental, which should have cost us an additional 60+ per hour, but she didn't mind at all. To top it off, she upgraded our room to a bungalow for free! When two of my friends decided to come later, she was also able to accommodate them for a very cheap additional cost. What really stood out was when we accidentally left our camera at the Port. Without hesitation, Ate Patricia went all the way there to retrieve it—even though it was around 20 minutes away—and she personally arranged and sent it back to us through LBC. We were so grateful because she truly went above and beyond to help us. Honestly, our stay was so much easier and more enjoyable because of her. The room and the entire property were also very clean, cozy, and homey. I especially loved the view from our room—and the bathroom too, hehe. Thank you, Ate Patricia, for making our stay such a wonderful experience. We would definitely stay here again!

Big rooms, great location and lovely courtyard area with free drinking water refill.

Staff came in on two different occasions in to our room whilst we were out and took the fans from our room. We were not allowed to use the aircon for half a day due to power issues hence the fans were provided and then taken back without us in the room.

The place is clean and spacious it is air conditioned and the shower has heater — which we loved! They also offer free unlimited mineral water and coffee!

The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean with shampoo and shower gel. The place is quiet and not too far from city center There is a nice common space and kitchen

A convenient location, just off the main road. The rooms are clean and comfy. Wifi worked well and there is hot water in the shower. There is a common terrace with a roof where you can sit and you can make use of the common kitchen. There is also free drinking water available, which is very handy.

For a bit more personal touch upon check-in we would recommend to offer some water and to elaborate shortly on the surroundings, such as restaurants and places to visit :)

La ubicación y el personal

Son extremadamente pequeñas las habitaciones, no hay espacio para poner el equipaje, pero quizá sea más mi culpa por no fijarme antes y guiarme por las reseñas. El espejo del baño te queda a la altura del estómago y debes agacharte , el grifo del lavamanos es de un fregadero y se salía todo el agua, el aire no funcionaba bien. Son pequeños detalles.

A delightful quiet place off the main road with lovely modern rooms, great facilities and fully equipped large kitchen and great staff. Scooters to hire onsite, everthing you needed was provided. Will definitely return again.

Très belle surprise en arrivant sur les lieux, les hébergements sont récents, joliment décorés avec des espaces communs pour prendre ses repas, nous avons pu laisser nos affaires en arrivant en attendant notre chambre et à notre départ dans une pièce. Je serai bien restée plus longtemps mais j'avais déjà réservé ailleurs, il y a de l'eau chaude (croyez-moi parfois c'est précieux aux Philippines), et soit la clim soit un système de ventilation très moderne.

I love that this place is off of the main road but very close to good restaurants and my dive shop. Simply couldn't ask for a better place. La localisation, très pratique pour tubod beach et les restaurants accessibles à pieds à côté. La clim et le ventilateur dans la chambre (malgré plusieurs coupures d’électricité). Le distributeur d’eau, les équipements modernes, et le sèche serviettes.

Pas de volets donc très lumineux dès 6h du matin. Les coqs qui hurlent dès 2h30 du matin (préparez vos boules quies et masque de nuit). Pas de sèche cheveux, manque de crochets pour les affaires mouillées quand il pleut le soir. La douche c’est soit on a l’eau soit la lumière dans la SDB mais pas les 2 en même temps… Chambre vraiment petite. Hôte gentille mais pas très aidante.

L' emplacement, l' accueil très sympa ,la propreté de l' établissement et le cadre général très agréable. L' endroit partagé au milieu de l' établissement avec eau chaude et froide à dispo + café. Cuisine à dispo également.

Es gibt derzeit nur sieben Bungalows auf einem großen Areal, welches nur wenige Minuten von der Hauptstraße entfernt liegt. Dadurch kann man fußläufig viele Restaurants und Geschäfte erreichen. Es sind keine Autos zu hören, nur ein paar Hühner am Morgen, aber das gehört zu den Philippinen 😉😅 Patricia und Eduardo (der Eigentümer) kümmern sich um alle Anliegen und nehmen sich für Fragen viel Zeit. Besonders ist die Gemeinschaftsküche und der dazugehörige Aussenbereich, der unentgeltlich mitbenutzt werden kann. Dadurch kommt man mit vielen interessanten Menschen aus der ganzen Welt ins Gespräch. Wer das nicht möchte, findet auch genug Platz für seine Privatsphäre 😁 Ein Scooter kann direkt von der Unterkunft gemietet werden, wenn man Ausflüge plant (Wasserfälle…)

Das Resort ist nicht ganz fertig und gelegentlich wird noch gebaut, aber das stört überhaupt nicht 🤗

Super nette Besitzer, große Gemeinschaftsküche, Zimmer und Bad klein, aber schön. Große Terrasse zum Sitzen und Essen. Zentral. Zwischen Tubod Strand ( sehr schöne Schnorchel Erfahrung) und public market. Freundliche Hündin. Sehr ruhig bis auf die üblichen Hähne vom Nachbarn. Großzügige Anlage. Scooter zum Leihen.

Lo mejor de este hotel ha sido Patrícia, la propietaria. Hemos tenido un problema y nos ayudado en todo lo posible y más. Ubicación muy buena y tranquila. Para repetir sin duda.

Personal muy amable. Todo super limpio. Se puede alquilar moto en el alojamiento.

Hemos tenido una estancia súper agradable en Siquijor. Son habitaciones independientes, decoradas con lo básico pero con gusto (todo en blanco y madera). La cama muy cómoda y el baño amplio, con un mueble pequeñito a modo armario. Además cuenta con ventilador y aire acondicionado. La ubicación está genial, con muchos restaurantes buenos en la misma zona y a 5 minutos en moto de San Juan (en estas islas todo está cerca). Lo mejor ha sido el personal: Patricia, encantadora y siempre dispuesta a ayudarnos con lo que le pidiéramos. Y Edu, el dueño, que nos dio muchísimas recomendaciones de Siquijor y de otras islas de Filipinas.

La luz en el baño era casi inexistente y la ducha tenía poca presión, pero supusimos que se debía a los clásicos cortes de electricidad en este tipo de islas. Nos dieron una lamparita inalámbrica y nos apañamos estupendamente.

La cucina condivisa non era ben pulita, ma comunque utilizzabile. Purtroppo essendo in campagna possono entrare animali… abbiamo avuto un pochino di problemi con le formiche ma niente di trascendentale

Die Besitzer waren wirklich super nett, uns wurden Tipps gegeben, man konnte direkt Roller ans Hostel bestellen, wir dürfen die Küche mitbenutzen & am letzten Tag dürfen wir sogar den roller von Patrecia noch für eine Fahrt nutzen;) Das Zimmer war groß und sauber, wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Es war sehr viel Grün & schön bepflanzt:)

Die Elektrik auf der Insel ist allgemein etwas anders und instabil, bei uns hat es oft geflackert aber wir haben es mit Humor genommen;)

-Esto se podría poner en malo, pero teniendo en cuenta que estos hoteles están en medio de la naturaleza un bicho puede ser normal. Siempre y cuando solo sea uno puntual y se solvente la situación y así fue. La madre de todas las cucarachas en la habitación nos recibió al llegar pero el personal lo solvento al momento y no volvimos a ver ningún bicho. El baño muy grande, cama cómoda y aire acondicionado muy silencioso. Todo se controlaba por domótica y había muchos enchufes por todo.

Había bajadas de tensión constantes al poner el agua caliente. Tienen muchísimo potencial me gusto en términos generales, importante tienen que poner un cartel porque esta escondido.

The water broke in San Juan area during our stay but their staff really went above and beyond providing us with water for several days. Their staff is also really friendy. The property itself is quiet and refreshing. I enjoyed walking to the pantry every morning to get hot water for the coffee because the view is so calming.

There was a rotational brown out so maybe it would be better if the property invest on generator in the future. But we are already aware of this before booking the property so this is a non-issue for us.

From the owner to the managing staff, Me and my husband was really enjoyed our 6nights stay in your place. Hemos estado realmente a gusto. Está todo muy limpio, moderno y cuidado. El mejor hotel hasta el momento en Filipinas. Alargamos nuestra estancia más de lo inicialmente reservado. Ducha con mampara (difícil de encontrar), aire acondicionado nuevo y sin ruido.. cosas que se echan en falta en Filipinas y que se agradece cuando las tienes. El personal muy amable. El sitio donde está es muy agradable también y está a 1 minuto de la calle principal, lo que te hace estar cerca de todo pero sin sufrir el bullicio.

The room was very nicely done, spacious, a lovely bathroom area, comfy beds and two very big soft pillows per bed. The location is right next to some nice vegetarian restaurants which suited me perfectly. Though walking around the island isn’t the easiest - likely you’ll need to rent a motorbike or tuktuk to most places (not the vegan cafes though ☺️).

The AC leaked though this can’t be helped. The lock on my door was a little unreliable, though the staff were really attentive and helpful.

We stayed at this boutique gem in Siquijor and were genuinely so impressed with the space, the people, and the experience overall. From the moment we arrived, we felt the warmth of the team. Edu, the owner, was incredibly kind and accommodating, and the staff — Pat and Patpat + all the others — were nothing short of wonderful. Always warm, friendly, and ready to help with anything we needed. The atmosphere is calming and thoughtfully designed. There’s a large common area with a full kitchen you can use, hammocks to lounge in, books to read, and plenty of space to just hang out or get some work done. The whole area is quiet and fenced off, with a big open field in the middle that adds to the sense of calm. We stayed in the four-person room (not the bungalows, although they looked lovely too), and I have to say — this is hands down the best setup for groups, especially for girlfriends traveling together. It’s so spacious, and clearly designed with intention. Each person had their own cabinet with plenty of space, and the getting-ready area was a dream: a huge countertop with two sinks, lots of space for skincare and makeup, and a separate toilet and shower area so no one had to wait. The only thing missing was a full-length mirror — but even then, we managed just fine. Everything about this place shows care and attention to detail. It felt like it was designed by people who really understand what guests need, especially when traveling with friends. We felt right at home and would 100% stay here again.

If I had to name a “downside,” it would only be that the place is a little tucked away — so much so that tricycle drivers often weren’t familiar with it. They know the place as the "Academy" because there's a language school within the property. A sign by the road would really help! But honestly, this is such a small note in what was otherwise a flawless stay.

The overall interior of the place is nice. My room (solo traveler) is clean and spacious enough to accommodate 2 people. Walking distance from popular bars and restos. Hotel staff (Patricia) is very approachable, friendly and accommodating. Just tell her what you need, and she will help you. 🙂

MHARI is in the same compound as the language academy in the town of San Juan. It is central to the area, super close to the good restaurants and party places, yet quiet and peaceful. If you are looking for a relaxing stay, this is the place. The room for 4 pax is spacious and tidy. We also had our own drying racks and storage cabinets. I liked that the toilet is separate from the bathroom. The common area is also an open space which is good for co-working and lounging around. The vibe of the place is super welcoming and very relaxed. The owner and the staff were both welcoming and very accommodating as hosts. They gave really good recommendations and made sure that our stay is as comfortable as possible. Thank you Idu and team-- Ate Patricia, Kuya Henler, and Kuya Pat. You made our stay memorable.

MHARI accommodated us super last minute when we were let down by our other accommodation. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was amazing with a fan as well as air conditioning. Great facilities wished we could stay longer.
