Very comfortable surrounding & close to the main town

Staff were friendly and very accomodating. Place was sparkling clean and roomy. Plenty of people there, but very little noise.

only down side was the double bed mattress is probably due a replacement - caves into the middle. And parking is very tight (so many SUVs) - might need to be a bit wider to get into vehicles when carpark is full?

Clean, quality room at a good price point. Staff were friendly. Was a very quiet area.

There's complimentary milk pack at the reception which is always good for those moments when you in the rush for a coffee plus the complimentary instant coffee/tea/chocolate in the room. The walk to the city centre was pretty good and short. Overall the apartment is clean.

Clean, comfortable, and a little mountain view from my room. Also, really liked that you can get breakfast supplies delivered to your room the night before so you can wake up and relax over brekkie - or get up and about early if you have lots to do!

Modern rooms, good shower and water pressure, has EV charger, lots of parking within walking distance to lots of cafes and waterfront. Staff are welcoming.

Absolutely 💯 per cent best motel I have been to in a long time. Greeted by Manager very polite, very informative. Arrived at room stunning, smelt awesome everything was exceptionally clean. Beds so comfortable, loved the spa, and shower out of this world, excellent pressure, coffees, not stingy on the milk such a plus, warm inviting room, best stay ever. Alpine Lake Motel 5 star plus.

Easy check-in. Friendly welcome. Well appointed room with plenty of space. Great kitchen facilities including coffee machine. Large bathroom with great spa bath as well as shower.

It was lovely and the stuff members were great!

The underfloor heating on the tiles was perfect! Had everything needed for a one night stay (though a wooden spoon/spatula would be great)..

Warmly welcomed by our host and they aren’t stingy on the milk like a lot of places! Our room was well presented and clean, with everything needed for our stay. Nice and close to town.

Quiet, an easy walk to town.

Bathroom was a bit tired.

My friends’ family and my family traveled to Taupō together. We stayed one night in Waitomo before driving to Taupō. Traveling with three young children was wonderful but also very tiring. When we arrived at the reception, I gave our booking number and realized that I had accidentally booked the room for the following day instead of that night. I was so worried, but after checking the reservation, you kindly told us that you could still accommodate us. I can’t express how relieved and grateful we felt. You even gave us a bottle of milk so the children could make hot chocolate, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The accommodation felt so warm and comfortable that everyone said it felt just like home. It was a cold day, and without your kindness we would have had nowhere to stay. Thank you for welcoming us so warmly in a foreign country. Your generosity made our trip truly special, and because of people like you, New Zealand will always remain a wonderful memory for our family. Thank you again for your kindness and hospitality. We will never forget it.

The hotel was really good, very comfortable, and the staff were accommodating and friendly. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. I would just like to comment on the cleanliness. The room looked clean when we arrived, but I don't think the blanket on the queen bed had been changed because there was a white stain on it that looked like dried saliva or mucus. I also noticed that the heat pump was very dusty. When we turned it on, it seemed to blow dust into the room, which caused us to start sneezing. After checking out, I also noticed that I had several bug bites on my body, which I believe may have been from our stay at the hotel. Aside from these cleanliness concerns, the hotel was very good. I hope these issues can be addressed, as the accommodation itself is comfortable and the staff provide excellent service.

Lovely set up with underfloor heating and nice afternoon sun coming into the lounge area.

Great location not far from downtown Taupo for dining and shopping. A huge bonus are the heated bathroom floors. Was able to cast Netflix and YouTube to the TV.

Very tidy, cosy and warm. Loved our stay and will definitely be back! Loved the bath, the hot water heats fast which was nice. Loved the outdoor private facilities and the staff were so helpful

Large rooms enough for 6. Was just the 2 of us so the extra space was nice. Kitchen and bathroom floors were heated which made it perfect when walking into the shower or getting a drink. Very newly refurbished. Laundry facilities within the site were perfect. Darren the host was so helpful.

Location was perfect. Nice and quiet. Beds were super comfy. Underfloor heating was amazing and great size spa bath. Had access to a small courtyard and bbq. Room was a good size and warm.

The only thing was I didn't get the room I booked. I booked 3 single beds and a queen bed. On arrival to room it only had 2 single beds and 1 queen bed but made it work.
