Slow Stay at Roebuck Farm

Location was a beautiful rural but not too far from amenities and local hot spots!

The little house was beautiful, quiet & clean. The outside bath tub was a super plus. We soaked in the tub while star watching! Magnificent! Jodi & Tanya are lovely hosts. They even left fresh organic veggies for us in our refrigerator. The dogs Flo & Tarique were so sweet & gentle. Chatting with both Tanya & Jodi was so friendly informative.

Staying on the farm was a very magical experience and we enjoyed engaging with the hosts who were very welcoming. Great breakfast. The view of Mount Egmont from the farm is stunning.

A very cosy tiny house with everything, in a peaceful farm. Jodi and Tanya are welcoming and we enjoyed chatting with them. They are very helpful and their recommendations helped us discover the region and find good places to eat and drink. The breakfast was good and fresh with local ingredients.

This is a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. The decor is gorgeous and the fresh herbs, salad, eggs and chutneys were amazing! Jodi and Tanya are fantastic hosts, we had a very inspirational tour of the gardens and discussion about the business. We wish we could have stayed for a few days. Exceptional value for money. We highly recommend you stay here!

Very nice place, well equipped kitchen, warm and welcome owners, there to help with anything. Outdoor bathtub is a very nice feature. Very tidy and compliments provided. Would 110% recommend.

We loved our stay at Roebuck! The photos online didn't do it justice. The setting is gorgeous, and the little cabin is perfectly placed and private. The outdoor tub was exactly what our weary bodies needed after two days of tramping on Mt Taranaki. Everything in the cabin was lovely, clean, carefully curated and well thought out. We would happily return!

Roebuck Farm Stay was one of the best stays we have had in our leg of our road trip. It was solemn and very relaxing. We were glad to meet Tanya and Jodi and we were able to taste their produce which was a very nice touch of them. We love it so much :)

We had an amazing night at Roebuck Farm. It was incredibly relaxing and peaceful, offering the perfect escape. Tanya and Jodi were incredibly welcoming, making our stay feel even more special. We had the opportunity to explore their stunning farm, which was a true highlight. The house was cozy and had everything we needed, ideal for two people. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and will come again if we get a chance.

So lovely to be given fresh vegetables, bread and milk, and even fresh carrot juice! Also loved the farm tour given by Jodi while we there, which enabled us to learn more about regenerative practices. Both Tanya and Jodi were so generous with their time, and lent me a bodyboard and flippers for a swim too. Recommending this to all our friends!

The Highlights were the fresh veggies from the farm given to us by the hosts, as well as the outdoor bath.

We had a fabulous stay. The room was decorated beautifully, and you have all the utilities if you want to cook a meal. An outdoor bath is excellent after a hiking day. The hosts are super friendly and offered us fresh veggies from their farm. We can’t recommend more. We hope we can visit again.

Amazing hosts, ngā mihi Jodi rāua ko Tanya. Beautiful tiny home, super comfy bed, awesome shower and has everything you could want. Great place for a rest and reset in beautiful surroundings. Definitely would book again!!

Everything was fantastic! Hosts are super friendly and we enjoyed meeting them and their pets and chatting. Their accommodation is relaxing with really nice decor. Lovely plants makes it feel homely. The linen, towels bed all earthy tones, very fitting.The bread, jam,milk and microgreens lovely. The outdoor bath was a treat on a winters night watching the stars. We came for a birthday surprise treat and treat it was. Will definitely recommend.
