Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Extremely clean and comfortable stay - quiet and peaceful location and close to the amenities that we needed.
Really suggest that (a) you advise a guest that they will need eg. their own Netflix account details to log in and access on property TV (b) make the use of the remotes etc. much clearer in light of (a) - we were two 70 year old guests and frankly it was an un.useable system for us. Also suggest hot water bottles for guests who may appreciate since no electric blankets on bed.

Reviewed Nov 18, 2025The 3 days we spent at Georges was just fabulous. We didn’t want to leave. The house was beautiful in a fantastic location. We felt totally spoiled. There were lots of lovely little touches which made us feel like we were completely at home. Milk in the fridge and food in the pantry. Moira’s directions from Dawson’s roundabout brought us straight to the door. This place is a gem.

Reviewed Apr 23, 2025The house was beautifully set up for guests and there was plenty of room for our whole family. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and I particularly enjoyed the homemade apricot chutney. The location was handy to town, takeaways, restaurants and supermarkets. Our fur baby enjoyed the lush carpet. Just have to be a little careful with larger cars driving up and down the driveway to the garage, as it's quite steep. Definitely felt like a nicer home away from home.
Nothing. Unfortunately the weather didn't play ball for us to enjoy the outdoor living as much as we'd like.

The kitchen was well stocked and had all the essentials you need on a trip away (including delicious coffee :-) ) The house also has great views of the ocean and the mount. It was the perfect place to stay for our family of 4.
