Internet was off on Sunday the whole day 😞 we could not watch TV at all. There toilet mat was taken out by the cleaner most of the stay we did not have a mat for the toilet until last day.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2025Everything was convenient and ready to use , the place looks exactly like the pictures ... Amazing little space! Very easy to access and exit , close parking space and close to a nice little breakfast spot. Really liked our stay.
The apartment was a little cold 🥶 , but we in July and it is winter.

Reviewed Apr 26, 2025We loved our stay at Deep South. It is very close to everything. We stayed in Suite 1,it was the perfect size for us. We did not cook a meal there, but we did use the fridge, which was clean and large. Our host was extremely friendly and sorted out any questions that we had. We even had Nespresso coffee. It was lovely and we will definitely see them again.

Reviewed Mar 27, 2025We liked that the place had some effort put into it, e.g. the labels on the hot/cold water, which is often troublesome in an unfamiliar shower. The place was slightly smaller than expected, but still good value for the price. I enjoyed the Nespresso machine and the full suite of streaming services.
My only criticism is the lack of a kitchen bin. There is a small bin in the bathroom, and a big bin outside, but a convenient bin was missed.

Reviewed Dec 18, 2024Silvermine mountainous area view from flat windows. Spaciousnesss. The living on a hillside in nature, walks, beaches, babboons, Simonstown, and surrounding mountains; beautiful. TV and Netflix was enough for us. Restaurants had good healthy food and were always interesting in some Capetonian way.

Reviewed Nov 3, 2024A clean comfortable place to spend just one night, but extended to 2 nights finally. The hosts Paul and Bernadette, were very helpful and friendly, and Bernadette did a load of washing for me fora very moderate fee. Without it being luxurious, it was very comfortable, and all that I needed for a short stay, and reasonably priced.
The plumbing was a bit noisy, but it didn't bother me. and it didn't stop me from having a very good night's sleep. Thank you Bernadette and Paul.

Reviewed Oct 28, 2024Location was a little further from sea than I expected. Okay suburbia - once inside the suite was great. Kitchen could do with a pair of scissors and the washing up liquid dispenser could be more user friendly - currently a soap dispenser which meant I had to dispence into my hands then get into sink to get soapy washing up liquid. Neither a deal breaker and holiday makers probably either wont wash dishes or don't care. Just constructive feedback.
Noise when downstairs were showering at midnight it sounded like the water was going to bubble up in my shower upstairs - not sure if this can be resolved?
