La struttura è davvero molto accogliente: un rifugio con appena quattro chalet (dunque con pochissimi ospiti), una piscina circondata dagli alberi e una camera davvero enorme. Ottimo punto di partenza per il safari a Yala. Il personale è molto gentile. Ci hanno subito accolti con un succo di frutta di benvenuto. Molto buono anche il ristorante. Abbiamo apprezzato molto la possibilità di lasciare il nostro chalet più tardi rispetto all'orario di check-out previsto e di poter fare colazione di ritorno dal safari.

Quiet place in the middle of the jungle. The room was huge, comfortable and with everything you might need and more. The staff were friendly and nice with our kids.

Some mosquitoes got into the room and beds are exposed. A mosquito net would solve the problem.

Struttura moderna, pulitissima e curata nei dettagli. Piscina molto pulita (peccato non aver avuto il tempo di usarla!). Stanza molto ampia, con divano e TV perfetti. Personale attento e disponibile. Pasti ottimi. Una delle migliori strutture in cui abbiamo soggiornato in Sri Lanka.

Personale gentilissimo e attento, Angelo che ci ha accolto e seguito è stato meraviglioso. Camera pulitissima e spazi comuni davvero curati e in pieno relax.

Se devo proprio trovare qualcosa da far notare, essendo vicino al parco nazionale ed avendo passaggio limitato, il ristorante chiede di poter ordinare colazioni e cene con largo anticipo con la penale che se il mattino ti svegli e hai voglia di altro rispetto a quello che hai ordinato la sera prima non puoi cambiare. Ma per il resto davvero è tutto super!

We had a wonderful stay at Four Chalets Yala! The room was absolutely beautiful, clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Surprisingly, we were the only guests during our stay, which we honestly didn’t understand because this place is truly beautiful and deserves much more attention. Without a doubt, this was one of the best places we stayed during our trip through Sri Lanka. We would definitely recommend Four Chalets Yala to anyone visiting the area!

The hotel was very clean and well managed. Good breakfast as well! Swimming pool was a definitely a plus. All the staffs were very friendly.

The property is spotlessly clean. The rooms are huge and very comfortable (beds a little hard for my liking but still good). The staff are very attentive and do everything they can to ensure a good stay. We stayed in 3 of the four chalets with no one in the fourth so we had the place to ourselves. Staff helped organise our safari for us and also onward transport. They were very responsive to our questions prior to arrival. They made sure to send us with a packed breakfast for our safari. The pool was lovely and the whole property felt very chilled and relaxed. Great air conditioning to cool down after the safari

We stayed as a group of eight and booked out all four chalets. The rooms are beautiful, clean and well looked after. The property itself is stunning. It was the perfect retreat that isn’t too far from Yala National Park. The food is also fantastic and the service exceptional. All of the staff at four chalets took incredible care of us and were so warm and hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed over Sinhala and Tamil New Year and they set up a new year table and let us take part in the traditions. They felt like family. Thank you Four chalets!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Das Essen war hervorragend und das Personal jederzeit sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Besonders schön fanden wir, dass man uns das Carrom‑Spiel erklärt hat und sogar gemeinsam mit uns gespielt wurde – ein echtes Highlight unseres Aufenthalts. Die Hotelanlage besteht aus vier moderne und sehr geräumigen Bungalows, verfügt über einen Pool und ist angenehm ruhig gelegen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt von drei Nächten sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

We stayed at Four Chalets Yala for 2 nights and our stay was absolutely amazing! It was by far the best place we have stayed in during our trip to Sri Lanka. Everything was perfect: our chalet, the swimming pool, the food, the beautiful surroundings, and the peaceful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind and made our stay extra special. Because it was my birthday, they surprised me at breakfast with a cake and decorated the whole table beautifully, which was so nice!! If you are looking for a place to stay near Yala National Park, you should definitely book this stay. Truly amazing and highly recommended! 🤍

Clean spacious room with lounge desk and TV. Outdoor patio. Refreshing swimming pool. Located conveniently to Yala entrance. Staff lovely especially Ireasha who spoilt us for our significant anniversary.

The safari breakfast might be a little better. Maybe a wrap or a fresh salad.

Faultless. Damith and the team were amazing and ensured a fantastic stay. We were there three nights and they couldn't do enough. They arranged our safaris and we were very happy with the service. Facilities were great, we had a 4 year old with us who loved the pool. Great rooms. Breakfast (both pack up for the safari) and on non safari days were great

Very comfortable and pleasant property set in a pretty garden with a small pool. Staff was very helpful and kind - all of them. The welcome cold towel and juice and same after a hot safari was a very nice touch. The owner was communicative and helpful on what’s app. Dinner including packed breakfast was good.

Bedside lamps would be helpful. Location is about 15 mins by car to Tissa.

The best place to stay in Sri Lanka! This cozy and peaceful place in Yala is a must when going in that area of southern Sri Lanka. The rooms are huge filled with comfort. Bathroom was amazing, hot water all the time, so clean and perfect. The staff is the sweetest people we have ever met. They fulfilled our needs and wishes. Especially the guy who is working there is so sweet and welcoming. The food is great. We ate every meal at Four Chalets for three days and it was delicious! We also booked the safari trip with the staff which was amazing. The pool is great and the lounge area is so lovely. The most relaxing and comfortable place we have ever been!!❤️

The rooms were lovely and spacious. Cute pool thats nice to lay by. Beds super comfortable and the staff were really attentive with organising tuktuks, and taking food orders ahead of time for breakfast and Dinner

Only thing we'd say is that there is room for improvement with the meals they offer. Sometimes there was a slight communication issue meaning we didn't get exactly what we wanted but they were quick to rectify and serve what we needed. Sometimes the food came up slightly cold. Aside from the traditional noodle or hopper dishes, other dishes were quite mediocre in general.

Perfect place if you would like to be closer to the jungle and the Yala National park. You can have peace and quiet here, because they only have 4 big rooms. The rooms are clean with modern furnitures. There is a lovely outside lounge area, where you can watch TV or listen to music. People are very kind and friendly, we honestly got a 5 star experience. The food is very good, you just need to wait sometimes a bit long time to get served, but after a while you get use to it while you spend a couple of days in Sri Lanka. All in all, this is a hidden gem in Yala and strongly recommended. Please leave some tips to the waiters and gardeners, they live from 30.000 to 50.000 rupees. Thank you 🙏

There is hot water from the tap, but sometimes you don't have in the morning when other people wake up early for the safari it is cold. If you want to go to safari for a good price, use getyourguide app. Make sure you take malaria spray with you, because they have a lot of mosquitoes and spiders and you can get bitten.

Great stay here, definitely 5 stars. The superior room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Food was great, plenty of choice of western or local food. Large and tasty portions. Would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling in the area.

El alojamiento consta de 4 casitas, súper acogedoras y confortables con baño privado, gracias a lo cual es muy tranquilo y privado. El espacio común es muy agradable, el jardín es precioso, lleno de árboles de mango. La piscina es genial. Desayuno y cena muy ricos. El personal es un 10! Son encantadores y súper serviciales. Nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitamos, desde transporte hasta la organización del safari. Tienen muchísima flexibilidad para adaptarse a tus necesidades, una mañana tuvimos que desayunar bastante temprano y nos prepararon sin problema el desayuno (es solo un ejemplo). Muchas gracias a todo el staff por vuestra hospitalidad! Es un gran acierto hospedarse en Four Chalets! 😊l

Utrolig flot sted. Virker helt nyt. Meget rent og meget sødt personale. Da vi ankom sent fik vi lækkert aftensmad. God morgenmad og utrolig god hygiejne. Poolen var rigtig fin, men lidt kold.

Heel mooi (nieuw) verblijf in de buurt van Yala! Mooie ruime kamers, mooie badkamer, lekker eten en een heerlijk zwembad. Ook het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zeker de moeite waard!

De menukaart is wat beperkt (2 keuzes per gang), dit is wat aan de lage kant, zeker als je wat langer blijft. Het eten daarentegen is wel gewoon goed!

L’accoglienza è stata straordinaria grazie al personale gentilissimo. La struttura è molto bella, con stanze ampie, luminose e pulite. La piscina è in linea con la struttura e tenuta in modo impeccabile.

A nostro parere l’unica pecca è stata il cibo che non ci ha soddisfatto al 100%.

Beautiful very well kept and the staff were amazing. Pleasantly surprised as we only paid 100 USD per night, such good value for money! Beautiful huge villas with a full living room which is rare, huge TV, lovely pool and beautifully landscaped property.

A small note that their bedsheets could be softer and the aircon was not strong enough. But we still had a wonderful night sleep.

Everything have been awesome. The place is magic, the people are wonderful. The room are better than in the photos the same as swimming pool. And it is so so clean!!!

Il posto è semplicemente incredibile, le camere sono gigantesche e comodissime, con una vista mozzafiato che sembra di essere in un'oasi. Il silenzio e la tranquillità sono perfetti per rilassarsi. Consiglio di fare colazione e cena direttamente in hotel, perché è lì che si può davvero godere della natura e dell'atmosfera rilassante del posto. Il cibo è ottimo e il servizio è impeccabile. In sintesi, se cercate un posto dove rilassarvi e godervi la natura, questo hotel è la scelta perfetta. Lo consiglio a tutti! Comodo anche per il safari a Yala!

Out of the 10 places we stayed at during our trip across Sri Lanka, Four Chalets Yala was by far the most wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a refreshing drink and cool towels – such a thoughtful touch after a long journey. The two hosts – a lovely lady at reception and a gentleman who looked after us – were exceptional. Unfortunately, we forgot to ask their names, but their professionalism and genuine warmth left a lasting impression. The other staff members were also great. What we truly appreciated was that we never once felt pressured into extra services or reviews; their approach was natural, authentic, and sincere, which made us feel instantly comfortable. The chalets themselves suited our personality perfectly – modern, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed. Every detail seemed well thought out. The food was good, and the portions were generous. Adding to the charm was the resident family of monkeys around the property. They complimented the natural surroundings beautifully and made the experience even more memorable Overall, this stay stood out as a highlight of our entire trip. We felt very relaxed there. Four Chalets Yala combines comfort, design, and heartfelt hospitality in a way that’s rare to find. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Yala and would absolutely return without hesitation.

Die Unterkunft ist super schön! Alles ist stilvoll eingerichtet und man fühlt sich wirklich pudelwohl. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig man hat eine kleine Terrasse und alles ist sauber geputzt. Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Leiter der Unterkunft war problemlos, er organisierte uns ohne viel Aufwand außerdem auch tolle Safari.

Der einzige Kritikpunkt ist das Essen. Gerade das Frühstück ist sehr sparsam bemessen, auch die Portionen vom Abendessen eher klein. In unseren Augen wird man davon kaum satt. Auch das Personal sollte noch etwas geschult werden, wir hatten zum Abendessen nur Wasser und erst auf mehrmalige Nachfrage unsererseits konnten Getränke bestellt werden.

Das Zimmer war wunderschön und sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, der Pool war fabelhaft und hatte einen schönen Gartenblick.

Das Essen war nicht überwältigend doch für ein Ausflug in den Yala Nationalpark war es die perfekte Unterkunft

Los chalets son amplios y cómodos, equipados con todas las comodidades necesarias para una estancia relajante. Se accede a ellos a través de un bonito camino jardinado y, en la parte posterior, disponen de una zona privada con una pequeña terraza perfecta para descansar. El complejo cuenta además con una piscina estupenda, ideal para refrescarse y disfrutar del entorno. El baño es muy espacioso y la habitación, en general, también es muy grande. Como único detalle personal, habríamos preferido una cama doble en lugar de dos individuales aunque estén pegadas, aunque no afectó a nuestra comodidad. La comida estaba deliciosa, elaborada con esmero, y el personal fue siempre muy atento y predispuesto. Queremos destacar especialmente a Damith Silva, que fue encantador y nos organizó el traslado a nuestro próximo destino, además de ayudarnos en todo lo que necesitamos. Ellos mismos gestionaron también nuestro safari, y desde los jardines delanteros pudimos ver un par de reptiles, ya que el alojamiento está rodeado de plena naturaleza.

The family room is very big and very nice . The swimming pool is nice for one family.

Il n y a que 4 chalets, c est extrêmement calme. Piscine propre, personnel aux petits soins. Nécessite un véhicule car loin de tout commerces / activités (> 3km). Petit déjeuner excellent ( srilankan ou Continental). Possibilité de restauration midi et soir sur place préparée par un chef dédié.

We waren bijzonder verrast door de hele ruime en moderne chalets. Ze zijn mooi ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is een fijn zwembad bij. Het ontbijt was ruim voldoende en lekker. ‘s Avonds kon je een keuze maken voor het diner en een tijd afspreken en dan was het klaar. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en zorgt heel goed voor je.

Prachtig nieuw Boutiquehotel op 20 minuten afstand van de ingang van Yala. De accommodatie ziet er erg mooi uit, ligt rustig met een mooi zwembad in een groene tuin. Fijne badkamer en goede bedden, grote kamers. Eten was ook lekker. Goede prijskwaliteitsverhouding.

Superbe piscine

Prachtige rustige luxe locatie. Heel vriendelijk personeel heerlijk zwembad en prima ontbijt. Ook diner gehad was niet echt een kaart maar samen een diner samen gesteld en dat was goed.

Excellent location for a safari-stay. The atmosphere and environment are superb. We also had a lovely BBQ dinner in the garden.

Greater care could have been taken with the cleanness of the bathroom and linen.

Dieses Hotel kann man bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen. Alles war perfekt. Die Anlage ist ziemlich neu. Die Zimmer sind groß, sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen waren sehr gut. Man muss das Hotel nicht verlassen um essen zu gehen. Der Pool war sehr sauber und die Grünanlagen werden täglich top gepflegt. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt.

One of the most beautiful properties where we stayed in Sri Lanka. We had Chalet No. 1 as a family and it was very spacious and very well designed. What an unique experience ! Super friendly stuff, our host Damith was doing his best to make sure we had the best experience. They arrange Safari tours as well. Very quiet location.

Exceptional service from the team leader and service team, room was spacious and clean , aircon and hot water working, meals cooked by chef was great , didnt use but nice small pool and also arrangement for my safari done for me thanks for the great stay! Do note the location is abit far from town. Its more for staying within and going safari rather as a base to explore the surrounding town.

We waren de enige gasten bij aankomst. Dus hadden voor een groot deel het vertrek voor ons alleen. De ontvangst was heel vriendelijk. We werden op onze wenken bediend. Prachtige ruime kamer. Zalig zwembad. De kok maakte overheerlijke rijst net curry's. Een aanrader!

The room was amazing! The pool and general the whole hotel area was great. We really enjoyed the stay at this hotel.

The staff was super friendly, but it was hard to communicate. They tried everything to make it comfortable, it was just difficult to talk about it.

The property and the rooms are gorgeous! Everything is clean and presentable with very high standards. The staff is very helpful and kind. Perfect location to explore yala Nationalpark.

For this kind of service level the food (dinner and breakfast) was very subpar.

This accommodation is absolutely beautiful. The chalets are huge with wonderful big beds, incredibly clean and great air con. Probably the nicest room I’ve ever stayed in, period. We only stayed for 2 nights and they replaced all our towels and made our beds whilst we were in out for our Safari. Although Four Chalets is expensive for Sri Lanka, this is great value for money for accomodation close to Yala National park. You are not close to any shops, so need to Tuktuk into Tissamaharama which costs around 1500 rupees return. The outdoor area feels like a spa retreat and the pool is wonderful after a long day on the Safari. Would definitely recommend for a stay near Yala.

The staff are so lovely but their English is very limited. We ate dinner here one night and the food was quite disappointing and flavourless. They only offer dinner from 7:30pm, which is quite late when you’re exhausted and hungry after a full day safari. They also charge a 10% service fee on top of every meal, which I think is a bit unreasonable given you are already paying to stay there. We also used their driver to take us to our next accomodation in Mirissa for 25000 rupees which when we got to Mirissa they told us that was a high price.

Die Anlage war wunderschön, die Zimmer ein Traum und das Personal super zuvorkommend/gastfreundlich. Uns wurden sämtliche Wünsche von den Lippen gelesen. Safaris kann man direkt vor Ort in der Unterkunft buchen, da ein eigener SafariJeep vorhanden ist. Wir können diese Unterkunft wirklich von ganzem Herzen weiterempfehlen. <3

Cisza, mily personel skłonny do pomocy. Obchodziłam urodziny w tym hotelu i jak wielkim zaskoczeniem dla mnie było, gdy po kolacji obsługa z tortem odśpiewała mi 100 lat. Urocze, dziękuję bardzo. Willa gustownie urzadzona, dopracowane najmniejsze szczegóły. Sniadanie przepyszne, szczególnie rybne curry.

We stayed two nights here as a group of 5 for our Safari in Yala National Park. The stay was perfect. They helped us book and organise the safari and truly went out of their way to look after us while we were there, even preparing dinner for us late after we arrived in. They have great facilities and the rooms are stunning. Also very comfortable beds! Highly recommend!

Fantastisch hotel met hele vriendelijke en behulpzame personeel. Voor degenen die rust willen is dit een ideaal hotel, aangezien er slechts 4 chalets zijn. Hygiëne was top; het is overal heel schoon en alles oogt heel fris. Op 20-25 minuten rijafstand van Yala National Park. Ideaal om na een safari in het park bij te komen.

Enige minpunt is dat het lunch en diner menu zeer beperkt is.
