Royal desert camp

A személyzet iránymutatása, kapcsolatfelvétele, rugalmassága nagyon tetszett. Pontos útmutatót kaptunk a tábor eléréséhez (4x4 terepjáró esetén) illetve a találkozási pont tökéletes helyzetére (4x4 autó hiányában). A sátor tágas és tiszta volt, a hűvös sivatagi éjszakákra tekintettel nagyméretű vastag puha paplan állt rendelkezésre. Ágy nincs, a vastag és kényelmes matrac a talajon van. Villany nincs, napelemes mozgás érzékelő lámpa van csak. A fürdőszobában napelemes világítás van. Este tábortűz mellett jókat beszélgettünk. 3 sátor és 3 bungalóból áll összesen a tábor. Van közösségi sátor és étkező is külön. A reggeli több mint elég volt. Ott helyben készült. A dűnékre ugyan nehéz felmászni, de a látvány, a napszak szerint változó homok színe fantasztikus. Nyugtató csend vett körül minket.

Sajnos telihold volt, a csillagos égboltot emiatt nem tudtuk megcsodálni. De ez nem a szállás hibája. Pakoló rész (ahová a ruhákat kitehetnénk), az jó lett volna. De a szőnyeg tisztasága és a sátor nagysága miatt annyira nem hiányzott.

Petit campement situé dans un environnement assez exceptionnel ; accueil et services parfaits, personnel très sympathique ; bungalows confortables éloignés les uns des autres ; le petit déjeuner et le repas du soir étaient bons et très copieux. La rando au coucher de soleil magnifique et ressourçante.

I bungalow e le loro tende sono perfetti per il deserto! Il mangiare buonissimo e abbondante. Sultan il manager una persona speciale ci ha seguiti in tutto e reso il nostro soggiorno.piacevolissimo!!!

Wir haben zwei Nächte in dem Camp verbracht und in einem der Zelte übernachtet (es gibt auch Bungalows). Es war sehr gemütlich, insbesondere das Bett war sehr bequem. Man hat einen schönen Blick über die Wüste, der Sternenhimmel am Abend ist wunderschön. Sultan, unser Host, war sehr angenehm. Er hat mit uns tagsüber eine Wüstentour gemacht, wir hatten selbst kein Auto mit Allradantrieb. Die Mahlzeiten nimmt man gemeinsam mit den anderen Gästen ein. Frühstück war einfach, aber sehr lecker und zu Abend wurde reichlich aufgetischt. Wir haben die Zeit in der Wüste sehr genossen und würden auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.

Great experience! Sleeping in a tent in the desert

Irfhan and Arslan were so charming hosts. They did everything to make your desert dream come true. Thanks for the hike to the fantastic spot for sunset! Dinner was brilliant! Thanks a lot guys, you are the best!

Both of the staff members were really kind and helpful. Absolutely nice dinner. They ordered also a pizza and a shawarma for our son without mentioning this before.

I work in Oman and it was a nice visit to Bidiya but the stay in this camp was amazing, the beds, the food is delicious and the staff are very friendly, the view of the camp is more than amazing, the evening under the clear stars and the quiet, the sunset trip was also amazing we enjoyed it a lot and another trip in the daytime of the second day to take us to the corners of the Bidiya sands and the Bedouin house,

Our stay in the Camp went beyond expectations. Irfan and Arslan made us feel at home since we arrived, taking care of every detail. The sunset trip was chill and fun. Would defenitely recommend it!

It took a while until we found the property at night and during the day it’s too hot to stay in the tents.

The tents are very authentic, the beds are big and comfortable. The place has a beautiful setting in the desert. We were welcomed by dates, coffee, fruits. We ordered a dinner, which was really delicious and rich. Also, the breakfast was a traditional arab pancake, absolutely tasty. You need a 4 WD car to get to the camp, but the host can pick you up at a designated location.

Irfan is a great host! The breakfast and dinner where delicious. I would highly recommend doing two nights to profit from the stillness & the quiet of the desert!

Extremely nice experience. Verran professionally organized. Immediately after mäkin the reservation web received the instructions and contact to Mr Irfar Who was purtavaa host In the camp. We had a rental 4WD & instruction where to reduce tyre pressure. With navigation it was essy to finaali the camp. Infar was already awaiting for us. To reach the camp a 4WD is needed. The camp was clean and well organized. We went to visit a local camel farmer, made a nice walk to see the sunset. The dinner was excellent, so was the breakfast as well (delicious local Omanese). Special thanks and appreciation to Mr Irfar!!! His attitude and values are something for us all to learn and respect 🙏🙂

Beautiful location, Irfan was a great host who picked us up, went for a sunset walk and prepered us delicuous food.

Great spot in the desert a must do if you are in the area. A 4 wheel drive car is a must to access the property.

- Friendly staff - made a private camp fire in front of our tent - behind us were dunes without tents where it was quiet

- just for information: we liked everything about the camp, the only thing you need to know is that there are in general many other camps around and you can see/hear them sometimes. So don't expect to be very far into the desert. Plus here: You sometimes can find Internet connection on a dune if that is important to you

Great location out in the desert. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable hosts. Accommodation was really nice, being able to sit on the balcony was really peaceful with great views. Food was also very good. The early evening walk in the desert (which is free) meant being able to see a fantastic desert sunset. Also did the trip to an authentic bedouin camp on the second day which was really interesting and gave a great insight into the culture. Would highly recommend a stay here at royal desert camp.

The communication, the hospitality, the food and the overall environment were excellent. Sitting from the balcony of our room overlooking the desert was breathtaking. Our hosts really made us feel special.

A small suggestion would be to install solar panels for hot water showers.

Irfan was lovely he spoke very good English understood all our requirements, nice and clean facility located a short distance into the desert. Great camp site

Breakfast could have been a bit better. Don’t waste food just offer only what the guests can eat (don’t bring too much food out).

Very welcoming staff, especially Irfan from Pakistan was super friendly and we learnt a lot about Oman and Pakistan people and culture from him. He also takes you to a nice sunset view point just 10min walk from the camp. The camp is basic but everything you need for a night - comfy bed, private bathroom, dinner & breakfast. Transfer is offered for 10 OMR return.

In the evening it got quite chilly due to winds (there is no protected tent for dining and get together) so bring warm clothes!

Location is secluded, away from others, and much inside the desert. So you really get to feel living in the middle of a desert. The owner, Idris, is very humble and helpful with everything. The caretaker, Irfan, knew Hindi and possesses immense knowledge about the desert and Oman, he was a perfect guide for us. Don't miss the sunset walk with Irfan, once you reach the end on the other side and see the wadi, it's beautiful. They can also arrange for barbeque and bonfire if you like. Food is a little expensive, but then they have to go to the town to fetch most of the things, hence its justified.

The camp is further into the desert than most. Host is very friendly and helpful. Unlike other camps its not flooded with lights so you can see the night desert sky. Possibility of having a fire outside your house. Great breakfast. 4x4 desert ride is also great. Amazing sunrise. Fully recommended.

The entire staff is amazing, all great and kind guys. They will do all they can to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your stay in the desert.

Friendly and helpful host. He initiated and got cake, candles to celebrate anniversary of one of our group. Enjoyed the sunset in the dunes. Highly recommend the dessert stay.

It was amazing experience, the hosts were very helpful and friendly, we had very good dinner and breakfast, and also they set a campfire for us. The room have a unforgettable view of the desert and very comfy bed. If I go back to Oman I’ll choose this camp again.

Absolutely amazing experience! The accommodation is very comfy, new buildings with private bathroom and the view on the desert is mesmerizing! Superb location, you can take a short walk through the dunes to enjoy the sunset. Plus you get to meet some camels! The host is very kind and caring. He showed us the area and prepared a bonfire with local tea. Nice breakfast and drinking water available on the spot. Definitely a stay to remember.

Great experience, the host was nice enough to make a show with the car for us driving in the dunes and taking as to a breathtaking sunset place. Nice camping facilities, great bed.

Clean , good location

The brothers host are happy to have us, very nice and helpful. The location and the camp it self, the room is nice, comfy beds with attached shower and toilet, it's not a typical tent, not too many room makes it quite and we had the camp for ourselves.
