Ein kleines Camp mit hervorragendem Abendessen und kühlendem Indoorpool. Nach dem Dinner saßen wir noch einige Stunden mit Abdullah und seiner Familie am Lagerfeuer zusammen. Nachts war es absolut ruhig, da das Camp mit Strom aus der Photovoltaikanlage betrieben wird. WIFI ist am Restaurant verfügbar.Vom Bett aus Blick auf die hinter der Düne aufgehenden Sonne möglich. Abdullah bietet auch Sand Dune Bashing und Kamelreiten an.

Es war ein Traum. Durch den Abstand zwischen den Zelten und Häuschen hatte man absolute Stille, wenn man für sich sein wollte. Mitten in der Wüste. Das Ausflugsprogramm wurde uns vorab auf Anfrage geschickt, aber es war problemlos alles vor Ort buchbar. Man kann auch mit Kreditkarte zahlen. Bei Booking steht nur bar. Wir haben einen Kamelritt 60 min gebucht für 25 OMR pro Person in den Sonnenuntergang. Wir wurden zu einem Nachbarcamp gefahren. Schon allein die Fahrt war ein Abenteuer durch den Fahrer. Wir waren nur zu dritt. Sehr privat und Jimmy behandelte seine Tiere sehr liebevoll. Auch war er immer für einen Scherz zu haben. Wir sind mitten durch die Dünen. Mehr geht wirklich nicht. Authentisch und traumhaft schön. Das Frühstück war im Preis von 53€ im Zelt enthalten. Echt sehr günstig. Das Abendessen konnten wir für 9 OMR vor Ort buchen. Beides in Buffetform und sehr lecker. Es wurde frisch gegrillt. Nach dem Essen saßen alle ums Lagerfeuer, haben Marshmallows gegrillt und erzählten von ihrem Leben etc. Inklusive dem Manager und seiner Frau. Eine sehr private, offene Atmosphäre. So persönlich haben wir ein Camp/Hotel noch nie erlebt. Vielen lieben Dank dafür. Wir werden es nie vergessen. Es war wie unter Freunden.

The experience was perfectly organized and well-rounded. The staff was friendly and respectful. Not an overcrowded camp. We especially loved the sand bashing tour at sunset (there are also other activities like camel rides but we took only this), it was such a memorable experience and Jassim is a very good, safe jeep driver. Breakfast (included) and dinner (extra cost) were tasty and fresh. The tent was rather simple, but clean, had a ventilator (which at the end we didn't use as it cooled down anyway at night), toiletries and towels were provided, and the bed was very comfortable. Every tent has a "balcony" with chairs where we enjoyed the sunrise.

No plugs in the tent, only in the common dining tent so prepare accordingly (we had a power bank).

Loads of conforts which nearly sound like sci-fi, like being able to take a shower in the desert and charge your phone via Usb. The included breakfast was abundant and really top quality. We had an amazing .day there! I would give 11 out of 10 if possible

Das Ambiente mitten in der Wüste und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Am ersten Abend haben wir sogar ein Lagerfeuer und Tee bekommen. Da wir die ersten Gäste in dieser Saison waren, haben wir das Essen jeden Tag sogar zu unserem Zelt gebracht bekommen. Das Kamelreiten und Dune Bashing hat Spaß gemacht und vor dem Kamelreiten haben wir sogar noch bei einem Beduinen Datteln und Kaffee bekommen. Sehr angenehme Zeit und Spaß mit den Mitarbeitern. Bei Fragen und Problemen konnte man immer per WhatsApp schreiben.

A great experience! We had a wonderful time in our very comfortable tents and the food was excellent. Jassim was a great host and brought us on a great tour through the sand dunes. Unforgettable!

Everything was perfect and met with our expectation. Jassem, the owner, pick us up at the meeting point and drove us to the camp. The camp was as it shown from the pictures in bookingcom. Bed was comfy, dinner buffet was delicious, and the breakfast also were great. Free tea and coffee in the main office/restaurant. We also took the 15 minutes camel ride and our captain (Jim from Kenya or Tanzania) was a fun and friendly person. The only issue when we were there was the weather. Would highly recommend to stay at Atana Bidiyah Camp! Thank you Jassem, from us Indonesia!

It was very very hot during the day (39C). Best time to visit is from November to February or March.

The view on the sunset and sunrise are truely amazing. The tent is cosy and very comfortable, furnitured in a traditional fashion. The staff is very kind. They have been very helpfull in guiding us reaching the place by car, texting clear and prompt instructions

The camp is located not too far from Bidiyah, so you can reach it fast/easy with a 4x4. But still far enough to feel like in the middle of the desert. The beds and tents are comfortable and the food (buffet) was really good. We booked the dune bashing and shared the car with other guests and it was absolutely worth it. The only thing we would improve is letting the dromedars roam more free around the camp

The Camp was great, had a wonderful night of sleep and Jassim was a great guide and driver, had a wonderful time disconnecting from everything, enjoying the silence, the dunes and the stars

My sister and I had an incredible stay at Atana Bidiyah private and highly recommend it and the owners to anyone looking for a Wahiba desert experience that is filled with calm, connection and a deep respect for the desert and ecosystem. The owners are excellent fun and wonderful hosts - the camp may be new yet they have grown up with their families in Bidiyah. Their knowledge, stories, connection and respect for Wahiba is admirable and deeply fascinating. Atana offers delicious dinner options, snacks, Omani breakfast, a dune top 4x4 tour and transfer pick up from Bidiyah if needed. From the moment I contacted them on Instagram and the kindness they showed me, I knew I was in for a treat! Arriving around 4pm, there’s time to settle into your tent, take in some Omani coffee and breathe in the serenity that engulfs you. An incredible sunset tour on the dunes with safe and experienced driving and a visit to the natural well that provides water for the camel and goat herders (your only neighbours), as well as the camp, and watching the sun kiss the land before descending back for dinner - the best BBQ I have had in Oman these past 6 years! And then the stars came out and wow! Ayla is located away from other camps, uses solar power, and is located not too deep into Wahiba - making it accessible, wonderfully quiet and with no light pollution. And just when you think you’ve experienced it all and climb into bed smiling and full of joy - the afternoon sun has kindly warmed your bed and the high-quality, high-thread cotton offers a warm hug on the cool evening for the best night’s sleep. Sunrise brings more discovery as the birds, goats, camels awaken and start their day around you. Snuggled up with a hot drink watching the world wake up in this vast stillness. Lifetime memories were made and I am thankful to the team at Atana for taking such great care of me and my sister. Definitely recommended.

I had an unforgettable stay at this amazing desert camp! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. The way description to find the camp was clear and precise, ensuring an easy and stress-free arrival. Also everytime i cant ask them if i didnt was sure if i am on the write way. I never drived before in the desert but with the information from him i dit it & it was also fun. The send you a place where you can defleate your tyres for 1 OMR. The hospitality of the team was outstanding—everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. They truly made us feel at home in the heart of the desert. The camp itself was beautifully set up, offering both comfort and an authentic desert experience. You have also a own bathroom, was i find its amazing. The stunning sand dunes, breathtaking sunsets, and peaceful atmosphere made this trip magical. Whether it was enjoying traditional food (they had also a lot of vegetarian option), sitting by the campfire under the stars, or experiencing exciting desert activities, every moment was very beautiful.

It was a unique experience. The staff was friendly and kind. Highly recommended.

The overnight stay in the desert in a tent was a pleasant experience. The tent is very clean and comfortable. The food was very good. Everyone is very friendly. Yassim is very friendly and helpful. Since we had no experience driving in the desert, he was a good guide.

The camp was greatly placed in the desert, a beautiful location! The dinner was good too, as well as the breakfast. I got picked up and the communication with the accommodation was also very good and fast.

In fact, everything is even better than in the photo and in the description. They met us in the nearest city, lowered the pressure in the tires and took us to the camp. The tent has everything you need, a shower and a toilet. The beds are very clean. They fed us a delicious dinner, and then we sat around the fire with marshmallows. On February 14th there was a fireworks display.

We had a great experience! The pickup and ride were smooth, and our driver, Sultan, was super friendly. The tent was really comfortable, the food was tasty, and everything was well-organized. They were also very flexible—despite our late arrival, they waited patiently and adjusted the plan perfectly. Would definitely recommend!

Everything… the location, the type of tent on pilotis with a big terrace … then the people there very friendly and simple… sunset wonderful and everybody around the fire in the night… Good atmosphere… Jassim was the one who came to fetch me because my car was not made for desert and sand… very kind and serious guide, was very helpful… thank you for all everybody…

The camp is at a very nice location and the staff was very friendly and helpfull. The dinner was excellent! All in all a great experience.

Only reason it‘s only a 9 out of 10 is because the information about pick-up service was incorrect. I was told it would be paid per car but since the other passengers in our car booked at a different provider we had to pay both for the ride, which I consider unfair.

I had an amazing experience staying one night at Atana Bidiya Private Camp. The elevated tent setup in the middle of the desert was unique and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding dunes, especially during sunrise and sunset. The camp was clean, well-maintained, and provided all the essential comforts, making it a perfect mix of adventure and luxury. The staff was welcoming and attentive, ensuring our stay was nothing short of perfect. The location itself is serene, and the activities offered added an exciting touch to the trip.
