Very comfortable room. AC, fan, possibility to make a small coffee, terrace, drying rack for the laundry, good location and sending links to restaurants, and the gentleman is adorable.

The place is extremely new, well equipped, and extremely comfortable. Nice beds, good air-conditioning, shower working perfectly, very clean. There is a fridge you can use to store food and a water dispenser. The family hosting us was amazing! Available for any doubts/information we had, and super kind. It was an extremely nice stay. We really enjoyed our stay.

Pulenthiran was an excellent host. A large fridge with freezer was great. Fresh filtered water available at all times. We felt well looked after.

It was just a little off the beaten track. Took us a bit to get our bearings but walkable to all the major sites we wanted to see,

Lovely room with a bathroom next to it and a room to make tea. There is also a fridge that we could use and free drinking water for us. The AC works great and the hosts organized a lovely tuktuk driver. The accommodation is close to the ocean and also one of the beaches. Overall we had a lovely stay.

The shower was a little broken. Still usable but everything else in the bathroom also gets wet.

I absolutely loved my stay here. The family were so so nice and kind. I felt very looked after and I really miss staying. The room was lovely and the balcony was fantastic. Their son was amazing and helpful. Thank you

Leaving

We, a family of 5, came to stay for only 1 day at Javi Home but ended up staying 9 wonderful days!! The guest house is new so all facilities are clean. The beds are super comfortable. The AC works quietly and efficiently. There is a huge balcony/ lounge area outside of the bedroom where we spent a lot of time. There is a separate room for making tea and coffee. The owners are very very friendly!! We all enjoyed little Javi and his parents. Javi's mom speaks excellent English and we got to ask her a lot of questions about life and culture of Sri Lanka. She and her husband are one of the friendliest people we have met in Sri Lanka!!! The location is excellent. Very close to the amazing beach, grocery shops and good restaurants. Mallika Resort has a very good restaurant, where we ate often. The owners gladly helped us with directing and recommending places. The home is also very close to a Dutch Fort Frederick that had wild peacock and deer everywhere. You will NOT find anything that offers this great value for the cost. The place is VERY affordable. If we are ever back in Trinco we will gladly stay at Javi Holiday Home again! 😊

The establishment is particularly well located, bus stand, market, Fort Frederick and temple, everything can be easily reached walking, necessary shops and restaurants are nearby, the beach for swimming is just near. The area is very quiet. The owner and his family are very kindly and helpful. The accommodation (room with bathroom) is well equipped, in good condition and very clean. There is a small private room with balcony, coffee table and chairs to make a hot drink or dry your laundry. The owner also offered us use of the rooftop. We had an excellent stay, we highly recommend this establishment.

Nice balcony, clean room, very good air conditioning & ceiling fan. Staff were very helpful & friendly and gave me access to their refrigerator and freezer. Good speedy wifi for first 24 hours of 36 hour stay. Clean toilets & shower.

Wifi either switched off or not working at all in last 12 hours.

First of all the owner was very kind and well received. He was taking care almost like a family member. The overall experience was excellent. The property is new so maintenance was very good. It is very cost to the beach and other popular temples.

Very nice clean room with an extra room for tea and coffee etc. Upstairs is a very nice open terrace to sit. Super helpful and friendly owner.

I didn't like the area where the accommodation is. Very built up and bit rundown.

if you are looking for a calm, clean, confortable room for a good price, I can highly recommend the javi holiday home. the hosts were very friendly and helpful. we had a big private balcon.

Amazing host, lovely clean rooms and bathrooms and large balconies! Host went above and beyond providing us with umbrellas when it rained and complimentary coffee, local advice on things to do, as well as having a lovely friendly family. Great host, can't recommend enough

A very nice house set in a peaceful residential area. A new place; think I was their first guest. Everything is new, clean and well looked after. Room and bed are very comfortable. Very good family too, they are keen to help with everything and to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Great central location, only a short walk to the beach and short walk into town. Has a big central balcony area, a lovely place to sit out, relax and enjoy the surrounding nature. A very good place to stay!
