The room was very spacious. The location is ideal for a nice relaxing weekend.

No security at place any one can barge in gate is always open, no sign boards so people will not understand where to go,bathrooms not totally clean, bed sheets and towels have stains, bugs all over room and premises Not sure why rating so high for this place, not worth it much

Hotel doesn't have kitchen they will buy from near buy hotel and give you, or you can walk to Govardhan restaurant near by they have south Indian and North Indian priced reasonable and tastes not bad or we can order in swiggy

Bedsheets have to be more clean, they were washed but seems it requires a change.

Great clean property. The rooms are beautiful with tidy bedsheets. Toiletries are provided on demand. Very nice and helpful staff and owner

Everything was perfect

The propert has very good location. Its not nestled in the traffic dense part of MP nagar but provides a convenient location for us to get there. The rooms are very clean and hygienic. Great for business travel. We liked the rooms so we continued our stay for 2 more days. Its a very peaceful place. Will definitely recommend to everyone.

Honestly my experience with Bhopal Lake Stays was nothing but TREMENDOUS! So they have five category of rooms which have different prices(Tip: check for the view from the room you are booking). We stayed in Koyal Courtyard View which had a cute french window on one side. It had a view of their courtyard. They had lake facing rooms which were a bit more pricey but we were comfortable with our room. The sheets, washrooms everything was extremely clean and comfortable. You can ask the owner or caretaker if you need anything. We ended up extending our stay for two extra days. They dont have their own kitchen but do have a tie up with some restaurant and you can order through zomato swiggy which they were happy to pick up for us from the gate. Having travelled to bhopal for almost 4 years this is the best place that I have found at this price which felt like a bargain. All in all it was a really good stay and would recommend everyone I know to stay here.

The owner is very helpful. Vehicles for take-up from the railway station, station drop off and day visits were arranged by him at a very reasonable price.

Location near to Sahapura lake but away from the city. Peaceful residential area.Bansal hospital nearby and surrounded with doctors colonies. Rooms are clean.

Almost zero staff.Had to wait about 20 minutes as the person had gone to market. Amenities like tea bags and water only on demand. No hood food/ eateries nearby.Room did have storage units for clothes or bag as shown in site pictures. Cost is higher considering the outskirt location. The lake is filled with waste water and hence not a popular spot. Habibganj and nearby areas are better for food and markets. For leisure, the lake area would be worth it.

It was a nice stay. I went with my family of 3 members and found the room specious and clean with all other aminities and also behaviour of the staffs was very good and cordial. However, i think that non veg foods are not allowed here although i did not order or take non veg foods in the hotels. The hotel also does not have any resturant.

That the room was fair size and the AC and other minimal offerings were in place made up for the awkward room access, only 1 person to mend the Reception, HouseKeeping and everything else... was below expectations for the price paid. Would suit more to relatives of patients admitted across the road in one of the largest hospitals of Bhopal..would be good for them. The young owner did greet professionally was the good part

There was no body for a good 20 minutes since waiting at reception desk for check in...No breakfast or tea arrangements. .No parking allowed and quite a bit far from city centre...expected rooms to be Lake Facing as their photos offer but the disappointment is that ONLY 2 rooms of the 7 they offer are lake facing so please ensure if at all u are planning to stay here

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The place is also conveniently located near amenities such as shops, a restaurant, a hospital, and with easy access to transport. The host is also very quick in responding to messages and in resolving issues, if any.

During the daytime, there can be some traffic noise if the window is kept open. But with the window closed, you cannot hear anything. I can't think of anything else that I did not like. It was a good experience staying there.

Very personalised care. Owner stays on first floor energetic and enthusiastic. Exceptional personal service raising upto the emergency when taxi failed to turn up owner himself quickly dropped to airport.

The room was clean and comfortable. The attendant was polite and helpful.

There is no provision for food at the property and no restaurants around barring one vegetarian place. You can, however, order in from any of the food delivery platforms.

A small quaint place in a converted residence wonderfully located overlooking the lake. The owner and staff are courteous and solicitous of the guests' needs. Newly made and with good quality linen.

Toiletries in the room would have been a bonus. Also, there is no on-site kitchen facility. Food delivery works fine though. The parking is sufficient but can be improved with some imagination. And the view of the lake from a roof or something similiar with a restro would have been an excellent touch.

Beautiful Lake Facing rooms, Cleanliness, prime location and a comfortable stay I recently had the pleasure of staying at the homestay in Bhopal opposite Shahpura Lake, and it exceeded all my expectations. The property is very well managed and you won’t feel like you are staying in a homestay. The staff and the room amenities truly provide the comfort found at a five star property. The picturesque location offered breathtaking views, and the hospitality was truly exceptional. 1. The Host and Staff - The owner of this property is a Gentleman through and through. They are super helpful and do everything you can possibly ask of them. 2. Location - Right on the main Shahpura Road. A posh gated society and covered campus. 3. Value for money. 4. Safe parking space. 5. Pretty well-equipped washrooms. 6. Cleanliness. 7. Cute sitting area.

1. Privacy - Okay! So if you like some silence around the day from your room - you are in for a lot of random ‘not so peaceful’ moments. When people talk to each other outside your window, it feels like they are inside your space. 2. The floor can get super cold - if you are someone travelling from another city and aren’t carrying any flip-flops, the washroom visits can be painful for you. Slippers and floor mats would be appreciated a lot - because you wouldn’t wanna jump on the bed with wet feet, right!?

Good place to stay, very clean and host is very polite. Communication with host was good and always reachable.
